openWhat's this show called?
I remember watching a show as a kid on either nickelodeon or cartoon network, It was about a group of people that had monsters (in some kind of way, can't remember). The main character had a puzzle solving little monster in the start and that's all I really remember. Also, they went on adventures to find better and more powerful monsters.
Please help me i want nostalgia :)
openThe name of this webcomic Webcomic
Trying to remember the name of this webcomic I read a while back. I remember the main character was a werewolf or some sort of shifter and landed up living in a tower with what was either a witch or some qizard I can't quite remember. And there was some small children who lived in a nearby village that would come by.
openSemi-hard sf novel Literature
I read it about 10 years ago and I think it was pretty new then. There's space travel but no star travel (IIRC), and people can back themselves up and have their minds read into a clone body in the event of their death. The protagonist is such a person, who wakes up in a cloning facility, having been restored from a five year old backup. In the interim, he made some enemies, one of whom murdered him. So the protagonist has to solve his murder.
openAnyone remember "Best Ed"?
I can't even find anyone on the internet who remembers "Best Ed". It's this buddy comedy of a dog (Ed) and squirrel (Buddy) as unlikely friends and going on various misadventures. It can easily be confusable for a spinoff of Ed, Edd n' Eddy. I wonder if anyone on the internet remembers this show
openShort, probably on Nicktoons, with boy whose head explodes from too much knowledge? Western Animation
My boyfriend told me that around '04 or '05, a single time, he was really sure it was on Nicktoons, he saw a short he can find no evidence of or reference to anywhere. He said it was about a boy who gained so much knowledge, that his head exploded from too much knowledge, and it looked like a moral. It was not Foul Facts or Safety Queen. Does anyone have any idea what this was? Thanks.
openThis one show on KidsCo...
It's this cartoon with this girl who follows a crow to this fence/wall with a hole in it and when the girl goes through she goes on adventures with a cat lady... i think. I can't remember much really. I watched this when I was like 5. Please help. I must know the name. Tw T
openShow about cube head animals
It was a short show about animals with cube heads. I beleive it was sort of real and not a cartoon. The episode i saw was about 2 animals, a cat and a dog maybe. They were trying to get a certain item, i cant remember what it was. The item ended up getting stuck on a ceiling light or ceiling fan and the animals kept trying to get it but a bird kept messing uo their plans. Then the animals made a rocket and one of them animals ended up on the moon.
openMovie with a creature that gets transported to present day Film
So in this animated movie (it might have been direct to video), there's two kids- a brother and sister, I think. They end up traveling either back in time or to an alternate dimension (I can't remember which) where they encounter a yellow creature and end up taking him back to their present time/dimension. When they're there, a scientist captures and experiments on him. The kids end up saving him, but that's just about all I can remember. I think that the creature had suction cup feet? I've looked everywhere, but I can't find anything.
openNovel/Short Story where a guy discovers his religion is from a book Literature
No, not the Bible or Scientology.. It's a novel or short story where a guy stumbles across a fiction book, and it turns out everything in his people's religion was taken directly from the book. I think he was at their temple, or holy place. Checked the religion tropes, can't find anything about religions made from books, other than the real life examples.
openSF novel with people living near a neutron star Literature
I recall reading a SF novel about a human civilization that was living on a (wrecked?) spacecraft or space station trapped in close orbit around a neutron star or a black hole — with consequent distorting effects on the human culture and living conditions. Anyone remember the name or author of that story?
I feel as if it might have been from Gregory Benford, or someone very like him, but if so I can't pick it out from the Wikipedia bibliography of his works.
openChildrens show with puppet animals working at a hospital
Think it was from the 80s or most likely the 90s...
Edited by FudgaopenOh god please help
Okay so I've been trying for the better part of a decade to remember what this cartoon is...it aired either in the late nineties or early 2000s on Teletoon, and it was about a white stag (deer? That was strangely female despite the antlers?) who was rescued by a man. She offered either to grant him wishes or come to his rescue if he was ever in peril, something along those lines. Naturally, he'd end up in some peril at least once an episode, and the white stag would have to come save him. I believe the name of the show was the same name as the white stag.
It might have been originally from the 1970s or 1960s, possibly Russian or Japanese in origin and dubbed into English.
openCat anime!!! PLEASE HELP
I'm not really sure what it's from, but it aired in the U.S. and was about this group of human shaped cats with little pets and this evil guy with a spiky large nose with an octopus or a cat or something as a sidekick. At the end of each episode the evil guy's ship thing would always sink. It was a very interesting..style of animation. It was a kids show, and the main characters would become a robot or something to save the city.
openClip From Creature Feature Song Music
So, there's a sound clip that plays during the Creature Feature song "Bound and Gagged", and I really want to know where it's from. The clip in question plays at the 1:52 mark, up until 2:03. If it helps, it may have come from a brief snippet of whatever was shown in this fanmade music video at that point in the song. (Around 1:56-2:01 in the music video.)
openBook about family - father died in accident Literature
There is a book I read in mid 90ties (translated in obscure European language, so original might be even older) about a family with maybe 3 kids, oldest boy imho was main protagonist. The father had just died in car crash and there were some suspicions that car crash was not an accident. I think boy maybe were suspecting the mothers new boyfriend. Also there were a rhyme they sang and I cannot get it out of my head for decades. Since it is translated, I cannot find it, but it goes something like this "On Capri island sun, last pepper bell was iddling" Anyone, please?
openThat fantasy cartoon Western Animation
One day a saw this cartoon, I think it was some western work. The drawings were quite good, but the characters were drawn as if they had no nose (btw it was a serious cartoon, not some super-deformed thing). I saw just one episode: apparently there was some race between different alien species, each one with a different vehicle: I remember a canyon where a boy with a bow, riding a giant beetle, shot an arrow to jam the engine of the ship in front of him, but then a vessel behind him (manned by an alien completely covered in suit and goggles) tried to kill him with laser guns and energy spheres. Any clue?
openA TRG LP
I remember that in one LP by The Runaway Guys, someone asks a question, to which Chugga replies (complete with a dumb voice) "Gee, I don't know. Let's look up Gamefaqs!", and Jon says something about people just watching them reading Game FA Qs. Does anyone know which series this exchange happened in? Or, better yet, which episode of said series?
This question is for the Dutch folks overthere : can you help me to recover a particular song that is sung in Dutch ? It has a male singer, who is rather "thick" but not "fat", surrounded with "fanservice girls" and he's playing acoustic guitar. I can remember him in front of a discothèque or something like that , and an old cool American car. I would say it's rather "pop-rockesque" in its style , very radio-friendly.
Thank you very much for your help, cause it's driving me crazy.
