@gregnes2000(4): Finally, you seem to get exactly what you're looking for. One of the local farmers, in a seemingly pleased by. As you call for him, he answers right away, glad to talk about his loving deity.

"Why, hello there! I'm guessing you'd like to devote your love to Theria, the goddess and protector of nature? Thanks to Her and her blessings, crops have been growing wonderfully- it's gonna be a perfect harvest this time around!" He grins from ear to ear, definitely pleased.

@Trip(2): This adventure already seems to be heading in a bad direction for you. For starters, you've been moving in a circle yourself- maybe pondering too much on this CLASS deal was a bit too much. And even then, you can't seem to grasp the idea of what you'd be exactly. Whether it be a warrior, or a healer, or a mage, you can't wrap your head around it. Maybe it might be the fact that this isn't a real RPG, but that's just a theory.

@Savaget 1337(3): You seem to lose your way for a second, trying to assess what where you'd be heading first. Within time, you decide to turn to away, heading towards a downward slope. Strangely enough, as you head down, the green fades into an odd shade of brownish-yellow.

@T-manboy55(5): With that good feeling, you finally manage to enter the town- people greet you with happy smiles, creating a warm atmosphere. People almost seem glad to meet you, as if you were an expected guest.

'''@cake1(3):" You observe your surroundings, although from where you are, it's a bit harder- you've spawned a distance away from everyone else, and the small capped hills block your view. From what you can currently, only the downward sloping hills can be seen.

@Skiller 2(6): You spawn in, right in front of the village, in fact. However, you spawned in such a... tricky spot. In the process of materializing, you seemed to have spawned in the ground, your chest is covered in dirt, and you're stuck.

Would people mind if I added the plus/minus system? Like, you get a minus to your next roll if you get a 1 on your action, or vice versa if you get a 5?

Well, the problem with that is you might get something like a 7 or a 0, also Cake and Skiller have actions.

I'm against it. That leads to the possibility of a seven or even a 0. What would those be? An extreme overshoot and an even more epic fail?

(Actually, there was something like the minus system earlier in the game, except it was kinda different. In that one, wounds decided how many numbers would be subtracted: -1 for light wounds, -2 for medium wounds up to -3 (or something like that))

@gregnes2000(4): You ask, and the farmer seems glad to see someone so invested in their religion.

Everyone here devotes themselves to Theria! Every year, we have a festival to show our love for her, partaking in a feast where everyone enjoys themselves with food and drink. It's a good time for everyone- although, that's not until this summer. Why do you ask? Just asking, really.

@T-manboy55(1): As soon as it seemed like everything was starting to go so good for you, this happens to backfire. The words you hear come out of your mouth don't match what you initially intended to say. A child running through the grass seems to hear you "ask for assistance". Where you thought you were getting help, you only made yourself look like a shady individual. "Hey, wanna find out a quick way to earn some money?" You say with a bright smile- the kid is confused, and their mother quickly approaches from afar, with an angry frown from afar. As it seems, it was the same lady from before, who was so greatly offended by Greg's question. Pulling her child away, she scowls, muttering to herself. All these strange people coming in nowadays... frightening. You feel a lot worse yourself.

@Cathari Sarad:(2) Picking the flowers has gotten a lot harder than it used to be. You tug at the stems, and find that it won't budge and inch! Yet, as you feel closer, you can sense some.. unidentifiable source of power emanating from it. It courses through you, as if you could harness this strange energy yourself..

@Savaget 1337(3) Moving on ahead, you don't seem to see anything particular through the grass. Although you remain as cautious and aware as you can be, you make one little mistake- your foot almost trips through faulty ground, the dirt crumbling under you. Just what was under here? To make matters better (or worse), you swear you can hear the sound of grass crunching under footsteps behind you.

@Skiller 2(4): With enough force and movements, you wriggle out of the dirt, allowing you to jump on out of the human shaped hole you made. Hopefully nothing like that will ever happen again.

@cake1(4): Heading down the sloping hills, you take care not to tumble down. On the way there, you see the same yellowing, dried up patches of grass, along with another human! Finally! He seems to be currently investigating something on the ground, past all the grass.

since most people have chosen to ignore it, I feel that we should keep it that way!

@T-manboy55:(4, 3) You feel better. You didn't let it get to you much anyway. However, you were already feeling a bit hungry... your eyes scan around the town, to lock right onto an apple pie cooling by a windowsill. Warm, and freshly made, it definitely looks appealing.. As you scamper on over, you trip over a bunched up patch of grass, almost jeopardizing your plan- luckily, you regain your balance, stopping right before the pie.. very, very close call.

@Skiller 2(6): Your voice booms with pride and fighting spirit, your proposal echoing through the entire village. You certainly feel proud afterwards, but most of the townspeople start to come forward, you feel like something's wrong. No one them have geared up for battle, and the only thing intimidating about them is the size of their group, and their scowl.. they're certainly angry about your eagerness to fight, there's no doubt about that. This gives T-manboy a bit more freedom to steal that pie, if that's worth anything..

@cake1(5): You reach out to him, calling out relatively loud. You're sure he heard you!

@gregnes200:(5) He seems elated to hear that, shaking your hand vigorously. He seems a bit too invested in the conversation to attend to that growing mob.

"You've made a fine choice, my friend! Most forms of giving Theria praise is during prayer, and offerings- the crops we produce, and other things we deem worthy of her grace serve to be good enough. It's a daily thing, and even if you forget to do so, she is a merciful god- we're so lucky to have her protection. And during the festival? No, not at a-"

He paused, contemplating on the thought, his face showing worry.

"Well... actually, we used to have a shrine. Far, far away from here, there's a little grove of trees, with a shrine built some time ago.. a few of the teenagers who wish to truly accept her into their life usually go on a sort of a pilgrimage to do so, as some sort of rites of passage, but.. for the past few festivals, we haven't seen them. We've gone and checked, but we've found nothing.."

@Savaget 1337(6): You initially turn to do so, your eyes glancing at the form of another, but the faulty footing of the dirt gives way, as you promptly trip into that same hold.. it's not a far drop at all, but stone tends to hurt upon impact.

@Cathari Sarad(3): You mad, powerhungry fool! Don't you know what you've just done? You've absorbed..... a little bit of the magic. You can feel it coursing through your body, but it's only enough to let loose a few magical sparks. That's probably the consequence for trying to control the powers of the arcane!

Sorry for the short post on your end, Cake and Savaget, but that reminds me: if you wanna talk to someone that isn't an NPC, unless there's something that might prevent you from doing so, I believe you should have the ability to talk to each other. You guys can vote against that, of course- I just believe rolls should be used towards actual actions. Either way, I hope I'm doing well!

@gregnes2000(2): The farmer places a hand on your shoulder, trying to sympathize with you.

"Please, you seem look a good, holy, god-loving person. I'm sure Theria would protect you along the way, but we can't risk losing another person to that place... I know that most of us would rather you not do something like that.."

@Skiller 1(1): You flop. Badly. Instead of landing any blow, the force of your punch manages to miss, flipping you over with the increased momentum. As you land right on the floor, the villagers snicker and scoff- you pride has fallen flat, in this case.

@cake1(3): As you run in to help him out, you almost trip, the steep hill almost leading you onto the same fate- you regain your balance in time to enter without any injuries. As it looks, you don't seem to find anything too bad in particular, maybe you aren't looking well enough. But, as it appears, the cave behind you seems to twist and turn into a greater, larger path...

@Savaget 1337(2): You watch this individual inspecting you- his guard his down, that gives you all the more space to jump out and attack him! ....if you weren't internally hurting, that is. As you reach out to throttle him, or do any sort of bodily harm, you wince, your back paining you...

@T-manboy55:(2, 1): You scarf down the pie, looking to taste a delicious meal... when the heat from the still cooling pie burns your mouth! Not to forget, the pan holding it practically seared your hands, making you drop everything! That was a definite drawback, as you nurse your hands... as the rest of the mob is occupied, you try searching for a map of this place- your methods of doing so entail breaking and entering. Through all the commotion, at least one person seems to notice you, alerting a few more who aren't directly occupied. They turn around as well, locking onto you as you still have no food in you, and no map.

@Cathari Sarad(5): You do so, and what luck! In the distance, a darker shade of green is as clear to you as day- the signs of a forest can be seen from afar! Just what might this forest hold?
