That reminds me, I need to complete my third Massacre run of the game after going through a huge chunk of Twisted Tokyo again with Asahi.
Bonds is such a persona ending.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I feel like, after thirty years of bittersweet-at-best endings, we can spot them one unambiguous triumph, no?
Agreed. Then again, I liked all the characters of Apocalypse, so the Bonds ending especially felt good to me.
I don't feel bad going Massacre because in all seriousness, **** Gaston.
Gaston is such a magnificent ass. I bet you they had fun with this in the recording booth.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. It still bugs me that Bonds/Massacre caught on in the fandom instead of Peace/Anarchy. They're in the logo! And the back of the box!
I really don't know where Bonds/Massacre even came from.
Is that their name in Japanese? I just figured Peace/Anarchy is a localization thing and people were calling them Bonds and Massacre before it came out.
Also Apocalypse does Persona better than Persona.
I doubt it was a localization thing. The Japanese Boxart still has the Peace/Anarchy logo in it.◊
It cause one preview trailer had those words in it.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. What's this Tokyo Mirage Sessions game like? Is it worth playing?
It's supposed to be like Fire Emblem right but I've never played an FE game or anything like that. Like, Devil Survivor has some strategic elements but it's still basically an SMT game. It's just that your movement before entering a typical SMT battle matters here. But compared to something like Final Fantasy Tactics, which sounds confusing as all hell, it's a pretty traditional JRPG.
So is TMS like FE and FFT and more about tactics an d strategy and moving your units about or whatever?
While it has Fire Emblem-inspired mechanics and nomenclature it's a turn-based RPG rather than a tactical one.
It's Persona but with Fire Emblem characters instead of personas
Song of the SirensPerforma is Persona 2's Ideal Energy, don't let the name fool you
Song of the SirensIshida worked on TMS yes. So did the Devil Survivor Team before they were disbanded.
We even had the same Anthony based sidequest of dude gets rescued by Demons Mirage girls, who find him repulsive.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.TMS from what I've gathered is an even more saccharine version of Persona with a focus on the idol industry and performers in general.
It's supposed to be a fun game but all the aforementioned make it a hard pass for me.
It makes Tiki into a Vocaloid, why would you hate something like that?
Song of the SirensIt's a series about the entertainment industry in general. Idols get major focus though.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. To simplify things, TMS is Idol SMT where your Persona is a dude from Fire Emblem.
It's a game about actors, idols, singers and performers banding together to fight the Mirages, who are stealing the creative energy of Tokyo's people. It has a Persona-like character sidequest system but with no calendar.
Apparently the combat is really good which is why I'm interested.

As someone who played it, yeah, it does play great. The combat is also quite fun to watch.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The combat is still my fave thing about it.
I have the game but haven't beaten it yet, first due to slacking off on playing it, then because of a problem with my gamepad (which I may finally be able to fix soon) but also because I don't always have the opportunity to play it when I'd like (which happened before the gamepad incident).
I'd love to finish the Wii U version before the Switch port comes out, but as things go, I don't expect that to happen simply because I won't always be able to play it when I'd like.
One Strip! One Strip!Hey guys, i've trying to pick a game for a first timer friend, would SMT iv or Strange Journey redux be a good game to start with?

Just beat Apocalypse on the Bonds ending, which I guess is apropos since y'all have been spoiling the crap out of it!
Poor Dagda. 1 like = 1 prayer for our edgy boi
