Per Microsoft's site, You get a 90-day warranty on repairs. I can't find anything on what happens with your warranty if they decide to replace your console, though.
WARNING: If they do replace your console all data stored on your original will be Lost Forever unless you backed it up. They don't transfer it over.

Believe me, I did google this beforehand because I hate to bother other people with questions, but my googling has presented conflicting reports!
The situation: I have just recently sent my Xbox 360 in for repairs. The repairs are free and in-waranties. I am awaiting a return.
My confusion: When I receive the unit, will I also receive a new warranty? For how long? Can I expect a new unit or the same one I sent in?
My google-fu has produced conflicting answers:
Worst case -you'll get the same unit back, but repaired -it WILL fail again -you'll get a new ONE year warranty
Best case: -you'll get a brand new unit -it probably won't fail again -you'll get a THREE year warranty
So yeah, I'm confused. Just to allay my anxieties, can anyone tell me what's going to happen after I receive my 360 back?
