The joke is that Danganronpa is a murder mystery series and Persona 4 is a murder mystery. Hence Danganronpa x Persona = Persona 4.

Kanji is known, Naoto is known, Rise is known, Yukio is known, Chie is known though more by association to Yukiko, even Yosuke is known.

Its amazing how one can miss the obvious.

Is it weird that through P5 everyone refers to ancillary characters as adults and the main characters as kids? ... the Thieves look JUST like adults, and I know a ton of people my age who act like these guys!

So I've been watching an LP of Persona 5, and I've been thinking. How would things change if Joker accidentally killed Shido at the beginning of the game by pushing his drunk ass into traffic?

The most interesting change if that happened might be to Akechi

How would he react to that? Would that make him go completely off the deep end?

Joker gets sent to jail for real. Plus the bad ends from not completing a Palace all happen.

Well, not all. Makoto would have no reason to get into trouble, so no bad end for her, just general dissatisfaction with her life.

But yeah, other than Joker and Futaba, I think it would affect Goro the most. It's kind of interesting to think about this scenario where he spent three years helping Shido only to be denied the satisfaction of dethroning him. I can totally see him going nuts over that and maybe even try to kill Joker.

Like, three years later and I'm still laughing at Shido's entire scheme unravelling because he deliberately went out of his way to be an ass to one random stranger.

Thats how things can happen in real life.

And Persona 4 doesn't have an Ultimate Despair, unless Adachi counts, so its not really Danganronpa

Persona mixed with V3 on the other hand would be some truly trippy shit. Everyone would probably perceive a twist similar to V3 would be a big fuck you to the fandom, which would make me lol so hard.

"Take Over" (The theme of the reveal trailer) is the new Ambush theme. Last Surprise remains the standard battle theme.

Junko is a basically a better, more ruthless, more unpredictable female Adachi anyhow.

Hell, if she had Persona's, She'd actually be a legitimately evil Wild Card that actually took advantage of her Multiple Personas, which could be literal Multiple Personas if she had the power, and would make all the other Human villains in the series her Despair worshipping bitches.

And trying to steal her desires wouldn't work, she'd literally would feel the thing she wants to feel, which is despair, because she already feels guilt for her actions and gets off on it, so Changing her Heart would actually make her more insane, if anything.

I was hoping the opposite, though. Last Surprise's lyrics just work much better when you're the one ambushing.

Now when are they uploading a clean version of take over somewhere, because that one is a banger and the reveal trailer isn't enough.

@Moth: The game itself is literally almost 10 years old. Its pretty much a fact by now who the main villain is. Later games in itself don't hide it, either, And Junko Enoshima won the guiness world record for most cosplayed character a year back.

Adachi's actually a character, though, and an amazingly human one to boot. Danganronpa's Big Bad is a glorified plot device needed to justify the setting, since they fall apart when you stop and think about how they could do any of that.
