It looks to be one of those things where the author is being deliberately ambiguous to fuck with us, so could go either way.
Chapter 387 out:
Okay, precognition and Time Stands Still while in Zetsu, a state where you're supposed to be powerless? That is some OP DIO bullshit right there.
Disgusted, but not surprisedchapter out. does Tserriednich have King Crimson powers? I'm asking because I'm still not sure how King Crimson works exactly
It's more complicated and closer to Epitaph than to King Crimson proper, but yeah, the inspiration is clear.
I wonder if this ability is from that Beelzebub nen beast he unconsciously manifested.
HXH powers is getting complicated every chapter
So a lot of people have been making Jojo's reference with the 4th prince's power. How did whatever Stand work, exactly?
The Stand’s power is similar to the Prince’s power.
The difference is that King Crimson erases 10 seconds into the future causing mass confusion & uses a second Stand ability called Epitath to look into those 10 seconds so the wielder himself won’t be confused.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Spoilers for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind: The main bad guy had a stand that would let him both see 10 seconds into the future, and also "skip" past 10 seconds of time, during which only he could perceive the time that had been erased, which he used to avoid attacks and reposition himself.
You should probably spoiler that.

If we're going to get technical, there's no set amount of time the boss can erase. He just always caps at 10 seconds because that's the limit of his foresight ability, so otherwise he wouldn't know what is he skipping into.
So, think it really is just going to come down to one of the princes?
Depends on whether or not the nen ritual can be broken. As long as it's in effect, it has to come down to one prince because a lasting escape is an automatic death sentence. Well, spending the rest of their lives on the ship could also be an option...
Ideally, destroying the urn that everyone gave their blood to would break the ritual and dispel all of the nen beasts and those phantom hands. However, there's a high chance the thing is covered in divine script, or is otherwise extremely reinforced with nen. This could make smashing it practically impossible.
In that case, there's another possible to way to break the ritual: Sink the Black Whale. The succession war is a mock Gu ritual. Gu is a type of sorcery where various poisonous creatures are sealed inside an urn and forced to battle until one remains. Smash the urn, and the creatures are freed. Sink the ship, and the princes are freed.
The more I think about it, the more likely it is that the ship itself is the key.
- Fugetsu could safely go to the lower levels, indicating the entire ship is indeed part of the ritual.
- Just like the urn, it has a face on its front and "hole"(of sorts) on its top.
- Similar to the urn, it has a rounded body.
- Its departure horn was what roused the nen beasts.
New chapter.
A lot of wrong guesses were made about Halkenburg's ability and we find out Camilla is somewhat like Ren Kouha from Magi.
I feel like these chapters are what an Editor's supposed to do.
Cause this is just overwhelming.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, it's getting to the points where I'm just skipping pages because I feel it can be reasonably assumed the dialogue won't actually be worth remembering.
Christ, yeah. Pages and pages filled with minor characters incorrectly speculating about something that audience already knows.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Though, if you want the perspective of someone enjoying this, here's a Mangastream comment:
I don't agree with literally anything this person said, but there it is. And, hey, it's better than saying that anyone who has issues with it just lacks reading comprehension skills, as some people have taken up doing.

Like I’m not saying this concept is wrong but it’s just he’s not doing it exactly well.
I know there is a better way of handling all this but I don’t know how.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ah the tragedy of minor characters trying to figure something out we know but they dont.
I kinda like it but the WORDS WORDS WORDS is annoying.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I agree with the sentiment but not with the words. I’m definitely enjoying this more than I’m expecting to enjoy the Dark Continent, but the focus on the princes isn’t as well distributed as I wished it were and I definitely could do with a little less POV from the guards.

I feel like I'd be enjoying this more if I thought this whole succession war was more than just a time-waster, before actually getting to the Dark Continent, because that's what it feels like to me now.
The amount of text is itself an issue but even more than that, it just comes off like Togashi isn't actually trying to make it interesting. And some people are giving him credit for that, saying it's more "realistic" but I'm not reading a manga like this for realism, I'm reading it to be entertained. Political minutiae can be interesting, but that comes down to presentation; just making something really wordy and convoluted doesn't make it smart or "realistic".

He watched too much game of thrones but since this is shonen it can't have all the nudity.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. It doesn’t help that the arts taken a backseat to all this thinking.
Like Death Note had a lot of talking & thinking but it was able to at least make it look cool.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That is unfair on two different levels:
1) It's not the current content that's doing this; Togashi has been treating the magazine versions as rough drafts, art-wise, and cleaning it up for the Volumes for, like, a full decade now. If anything, the lack of complicated action sequences mean that the art is better than it normally is; it's downright beautiful compared to some of the inscrutable sketches we got during the Chimera Ant arc.
2) You're comparing an anime to a manga- Death Note kept the lengthy thinking scenes exciting with music and funky lighting and dramatic voice acting, none of which are present are.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."
I don't know- that smug little 'I like two-faced women' implies that he's fully aware of what Theta tried to do.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."
