I also like how it's going more into the tension between Maximals and Predacons as a culture, itwas something we really only saw glimpses of in the cartoon.

I rewatched season 1 of BW earlier this year. I think I preferred it for how much more in tune with nature it was. Only real issue was that they did the same episode twice (the blind one, and the stuck in beast mode one), but both of those were still good.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyOkay, I initially missed the first part where you said Beast Wars.
(I don't know how, it's right there, my eyes glazed over it, somehow).
Had me picturing big, bad G1 Scorpinok, one-time leader of the Decepticons, being thrown around by a knee-high Megatron. Then dropped outside on the porch to think about what he's done. Namely, having the audacity to be a semi-competent leader in Megatron's absence and somewhat care about his troops.
Then I got to the part with Waspinator and my brain went: "Wait. Waspinator? In G1? Oh. Ohhhhh. Okay, yea, Beast Wars, that makes waaay more sense."
Finally showed off pictures of Kingdom Blaster. I'll buy 'em. He looks good.
A bit more info on Menasor. Really want to see pictures. They compare him to Devastator (in that the Stunticons will only combine together and not be interchangeable ala scramble city). Really hope he's stable like Devy. Devastator's one of my favorite of the Titans and modern Combiners; just such a solid toy.
OHHHHH MAN, Blaster is slapping so hard right now.
On another note, Studio Series Wheeljack got leaked!
(And no, it ain't Que, this is explicitly Wheeljack as he appeared in the Bumblebee movie!)
Oooooo, he is stylish! I want it!
Yeah. Saw this yesterday.
This time, the monkey and the lizard team up.
Edit: And not to be left out Rodimus Primal has his own Halloween Video: Black Arachnia!

One Strip! One Strip!Got the Kingdom Decepticon's Forever Ravage. Man this is a good bw ravage toy. Really love how the head works as the beast and robot head. The guns are cool and it's neat to have another G1 Ravage. Found the front legs really weird articulation-wise until I read the Tf wiki and found that they were assembled wrong. I just really like him, definitely one of the best of the Kingdom BW figures.
Where'd you get it from?
They're getting a lot of mileage out of the Cheetor mold. Unfortunately, I can't find the Netflix rerelease of Cheetor himself anymore. I wanted to get it for the more accurate colors. I'm also hoping to eventually find Tigatron, and then my collection of season 1 Maximals (and Transmutate) will be complete.
Do we know if they're going to release a Tarantulas or Inferno? If they do, then I'll probably get the Predacons, too: Waspinator, Blackarachnia, Terrorsaur, Scorponok, plus Tarantulas, Inferno, and the 3rd party Masterpiece Megatron.
Plus I'll probably get the Beast Wars rerelease of Cheetor and/or Primal. Cheetor because it's still an accurate toy, and Primal because it was one of the first ones I ever got, though I no longer still have it.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyTarantulus and Inferno are confirmed to be in Legacy, the next toyline. They've confirmed all the season 1 Beast Wars characters, which is sweet, but I hope that Legacy does some Fuzors and Transmetals. A Transmetal Megatron that doesn't break in half would be very appreciated.
Oh sweet, thanks.
To be honest, the only Fuzors/Transmetals that I'd have my eye on would be Silverbolt, Rampage, Tarantulas, and dragon Megs. And I already owned the last two as a kid, but no longer have them.
But it would also be nice to get some of the non-BW show characters - Magmatron, Razorbeast, Snapper or Skold, Polar Claw, Cybershark...
Huh, TIL Razorbeast is in the comic, so I'll have him to look forward to!
@wanderlust: I got Ravage from Hasbro Pulse he's still in stock. It's interesting I think he only uses the Cheetor legs and has a completely new torso.
I wonder if we might get more Fuzors.
Maybe more of that guy who is like a whale elephant.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Torca would be a good addition.
Thats his name thanks.
Man I loved that Beast Wars Gathering comic. So many characters.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."There really were a lot of great designs from the Beast Era. B'Boom, Transquito, Longrack...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyShame it's so expensive to buy now.
My Anime crush is LegosiHow much did you see it for? I bought it a while back, and didn't know when the price changed, if I bought it low or high.
But I do know the feeling. The collection for Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel jumped up to around $1,000 at one point. It's still up at $850 right now, it seems.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI have SG Megatron and Goldbug now. Amazing paint jobs on both of them. Reminds me of the old Collector's Club (because of course). Megatron in particular looks really good. The Jet mode is... well it looks better in hand. I really like the wings even though I wish they were more "full" at the back rather than honeycomb-ish.
Goldbug's head is great too. Curious if Hasbro will reuse him to make a G1 Goldbug or if they'll give the Boldbug head to the Netflix Bee body. Even his gun looks nice in the new colors.
Megatron's probably my favorite of the releases so far. Ratchet being the second.
We were having a discussion about this particular autobot a while back (because he got a Masterpiece figure, and some thought there were other more well known bots who deserved it if I recall):
Man. Thank God Movie Skids didn't catch on. Though it's also a shame. Any character can be good if done well, but he was done horrifically badly, and probably won't be touched ever again.
Fortunately, classic Skids seems to have avoided that fate.
Edit: Also, we were talking about a Transformers: Cyberverse movie some time back I think?
Well....

One Strip! One Strip!Double post:
I just watched the first half of what I guess is kinda season 4 of Cyberverse, but is really more then first of two mini movies:
We got the Dinobot combiner Volcanius, and....an interesting interpretation of Trypticon.
Edit:
So Ultra Primal did a review of the new season 4 episode of Cyberverse.
Whoo. Boulder Media giving thanks to a bunch of you tubers in Cybertronian (including Ultra Primal himself) was pretty cool. I wonder if Rodimus Primal and Chris Mc Feely are there as well. Wouldn't shock me to be honest.

One Strip! One Strip!Rodimus Primal was listed.
That make sense.
No Chris though?
Edit: Rodimus noticed the name drop:
That look on his face says it all.

One Strip! One Strip!
It's kind of funny how the Shattered Glass toy releases have all these delays but they also come with the comic book. So we got issue 1 with Blur and now we have issue 4 with Goldbug which ended up arriving before issue 3 was published normally. It's a good story, I'm liking it so far.
I like BW 2021's handling of Scorponok. They're making him a much more interesting character as like the sole team player of a dysfunctional faction that's basically sketched out 3 betrayals (one of which has already happened). I also appreciate that the comic tries to bring in some of the slapstick like when Megatron throws Scorponok against a wall or puts him outside like a housecat, or anything with Waspinator.
