Nothing's crueler then thinking something that was very important to you, a connection you thought was significant in the end was just another Tuesday to another person.

Man, the voice actor did such a great job right here. When Jet starts talking about how it became real to him, you can hear the hurt in his voice. The right emotion via voice is kind of rare in dubs these days.

easily one of the most touching scenes in the series

There's a male and female version of Rain aka the song that everybody who never even watched Bebop knows is from Cowboy Bebop.

Now have a duet version.

In Session 1, Laughing Bull foretells of Spike's death being brought on by a woman.

I was killed once before by a woman.

There was a woman named Julia in my life I had pretty intense feelings for not too long ago, but the entire acquaintance was toxic and it took me a while to realize or even accept that. Spike's obsession with a woman named Julia I can relate with in a lot of ways I'd rather not.

I just missed the part where I got to be an ultra-cool gangster with Gregorian chorus theme songs haunting my steps.

Seeing Spike... not put that mess behind him and run off to his death.

It just makes me realize "I love this character" and "I really this guy is fictional."

Who did you feel the worst for in the end?

Jet, Spike, or Faye?

There's hope for Jet and Faye at least. Jet's had a lot of sad shit happen in his life, but he's mature enough to move on from it and find some other reason to live.

Faye is in the same boat...literally. And she lacks Jet's maturity right now. But she still has a chance to find something new.

Spike? He couldn't move on and is almost certainly dead. He cannot move on or do anything new anymore. He got closure at the end, but that's it.

So, yeah, Spike had it the worst.
