Where exactly is "home," because after all this time I can't help but think whatever place she was staying at has long since been classified "abandoned" and repossessed due to unpaid bills.

Same thing if Lil E ever tried to leave. Doubtful there is a GIGANTIC house still there for him to go home too. (Though it would be funny to find out Hekate had taken it over.)

I've said this elsewhere, but I'll say it here, too:

Monique looks really, really androgynous in this strip. No hint of any secondary sexual characteristics at all. Not even eyelashes.

And no sign of Absinthe, and no reason stated (so far) for Monique to leave the Mansion or to leave Abby behind.

I strongly suspect that this is a reflection of events in real life ... but I have no definite clues as to what those events might be.

And she's actually taking the drone with her. Because of course the bad guys' tech can never be detrimental to Moanique.

The shadow schtick might be funny if this had actually gone anywhere. As it is, I can't even remember 'Nique enjoying the mansion's luxury beyond Abby's room and the monitor room.

She's leaving Demonique trapped in Satan's Mansion. Leaving Absinthe behind, too. That has to be some kind of symbolism ...

She's also leaving Lilith's ghost, too. Do you remember that dangling plot thread? I suspect it will dangle for all eternity ... along with threads about the escaped prisoners from thw Wymyn's Gulag, Monique's memory of seeing Slick running with the Arson Mob, Hekate or Nana doing anything about Li'l Evil in Satan's clutches, and the Assassinbots leading away Resurrected Headless Pimptron.

On the other hand, Monique seems to have regained her ladybumps.

Demonique actually appears quite desperate not to leave the mansion. She has the hots for the D-Man.

Hmm. That's a plausible interpretation as well. Demonique is upset about something, but Tats (as usual!) hasn't given us enough information.

Is Demonique trapped in the Mansion? Is she upset that Monique is leaving? Will she stay or will she follow Monique? Or will she evaporate, now that Monique seems to have made some kind of decision about ... whatever?

I'm predicting some wandering past store windows full of televisions coming up soon.

Why would Monique accept a drone escort anyway? She might as well carry a sign stating "Devil Corp Stooge" with a Boombox playing "Devil in Disguise" by the King

The only other persons with their own personal drones were Woke Pimp, Tange and Lily (their drone has disappeared ever since Blue caught it making holograms while they went off to play in the riot zone)

It might not be a return. Monique's past few appearances have been for two or three days at a time, then nothing for months. This week's strips might be a placeholder, meant to reassure Tats' millions of adoring fans that he hasn't forgotten about Monique.

Tange has a really irritating tendency to speak moron speak when people who aren't Lily or (sometimes Seymour) are around
