"Zombie Hooker", like Tange, is supposed to be innocent and spontaneous, a symbol of the feminine purity that doesn't need to hide behind the covers of makeup that are forced on by the Patriarchy. Of course, that's from the point of view of Tatsuya "Have I said he's a hack today?" Ishida.

The problem is, "innocent and spontaneous" also applies to the problem child in kindergarten that pisses on the other kids because he enjoys their screams of disgust, and can't see why the teachers punish him - also because his parents tell him all the time that he's a perfect little angel, and that he can do no wrong.

Seriously, if you don't give an actual personality to a character you leave it open to all sorts of interpretations.

We call them that because A: That's literally all there is to them as characters, and B: We don't know what else to use to call them!

Give your characters the common decency and dignity of a name man!

Also trying to make Milton into a threat after showing him being a wuss is just character inconsistency.

Having a credible threat to a character so deep into Author Avatar and Creator's Pet territory that she's referred to as "the Mouth of Tats" is going to take a bit more than this.

All I'm bracing myself for is the bullshit that Tats is going to pull out of his ass to fix this.

I'm calling it for Monique being more mind-control resistant than Liberty.

Okay, once more it's... STORYTIME WITH UNCLE ALARKHAR!

Quite a while ago, I was reading a MLP fanfiction (so to speak), whose main character was a jerk with more power than anything ever shown in the show - not only that, but the author was literally writing him to be THE HERO. So, in a comment, I said "the only way to stop him would be to sic Tirek on him." Guess WHO gets gunned to death by the nominal hero in the next chapter? And I mean literally: the so-called hero pulls out a shotgun that he himself made and takes out his head from the neck up, nevermind that Tirek has been shown to shrug off NUKES.

You may wonder where I'm going with that story... that's easy: right here, in this forum, we pointed out that the Hats could easily take control of Mouthique and get rid of her. And guess what seems to be happening now? Basically, I feel that Tats is pulling the same stunt: "Oh, you want the Hats to act? Well, you're just males, and I'll show you how cool my little pet is, nyah nyah." All the maturity of a six year old throwing a tantrum, same as the above example.

The problem is with Milton that seems less like a threat and more like an offer. Even with the giant robotic car and flying fedoras.

Considering that the fedorabots have been shown to be able to control Liberty, this should be a terrifying moment with lots at stake. It's... not. Definitely not.

Are you talking about Darth Vulcan? He's not the hero of that story, he's very much the villain protagonist and based on what I've seen of the author's other works, he's being built up for a big fall.

Heck, he just barely won by the scrape of his teeth with the last arc.

Yeah, him. And let's be honest, his "failures" were kinda hard to detect in the midst of a cloud of "I don't like it I wanna rewrite it" (the mirror to the EG world shattered and used as a comm system, the breezies rewritten as legitimate menaces, Tirek treated as a bona fide wuss...). Also, when I said "Hero" I pretty much meant that he was given the Gary Stu treatment: Tirek? Boom headshot. Luna? Mindfucked, which is kinda weird since she's a few CENTURIES older than DV. Discord? Can't do shit, lest he risks Mutual Assured Destruction. Celestia had to IMPORT A QUCKIN' HUMAN to battle DV on an equal level... seriously, aren't there enough mega-toughs in Equestria to avoid the need to import another OC?
