^^

I, for one, appreciate it for both reasons.

Good for you. No sarcasm intended. My issue is only with the people who can't seem to think about anything aside from the hot guys.

Yeah, I have to agree that it does bug me too, actually. Largely, it's the ukefication thing. Blergh.

Naruto: I hate most of the fanbase for always complaining about the quality of the anime and manga, How they always make fanficiton of Naruto as a darker character (While it is a legit possibility its always done horribly) The constant character bashing, especially sakura, and while justified in their hate for sasuke they go so much as to hate his pre timeskip characterization as opposed to his post time skip characterization.

Never really experienced seeing any of the characters extremely ukefied. The only way I could see it is that if one of the characters kept another one as a slave and broke him down by continually putting him through the Humiliation Conga. I have read fanfics about both Light doing that to L and L doing that to Light. The concept is extremely hot (regardless of whether the stories are any good).

Speaking of Naruto, HE is a character who gets extremely ukefied. I can't even see Naruto being an uke much less having that vulnerable little shota boy look that fanart depicts him as having.

^^Yeah, the concept is hot and sometimes it's done right, if, y'know, it's actually L or Light in there and not some whiny emo thing with the same name.

Also, they do not want your Mary-Sue, thnx.

^^Probably the All Ofthe Other Reindeer Treatment he got in his early life is part of that reason.

Heres another one:

OnePiece: The fans are fine, but those ones that keep saying its the greatest shonen series today are full of shit, and Overrate the series more than they try to overrate Naruto or Bleach.

Sasuke had a tragic life too, but he is usually the seme in Naruto slash art and fics. I personally think that Sasuke is a lot more ukefiable than Naruto.

And yes, any Ukefication of L or Light should be a case of Break the Haughty. I could never see either one of them as being a weepy submissive uke unless they went through a long process of humiliation. Damn, this is starting to make me hot!

One Piece. On here it's okay, but everywhere else I've found it's fanbase to be pretty insufferable for a variety of reasons, the main one being not only that many of it's fans treat it as if it's the greatest manga ever but they act as if Oda himself actually created good story telling. Seriously, I've seen people comment on authors of other series doing things like details about world building and providing supplementary information as doing things "the Oda way" as if ever good writing technique was pioneered by Oda. That's not even getting into acting as if his characters are the best characters ever.
