Did a speed reading on Reversi.
Kinda bummed (a bit) on the ending... But it's a good side story to get into the mind of Hirokawa and why he agreed to sell out the human race. And it seems to be canon that they referenced Neo Parasyte m.
Parasyte the Grey is out.
It also has someone from the manga making a one-time appearance.
So this Parasyte the Grey is basically an entirely new story set in South Korea? Just using the same concept of alien parasites?
From what I heard, it's sort of like watching it on its own without being too constrained by the manga/Maxim.
Like I said, someone from the manga shows up.
Alrighty, might give Grey a shot
I think they made some very interesting choices. (Obviously not trying to tell the exact same story is one of them).

Already considering to do a Reversi page.
Got the Parasyte: The Grey page up.

I'll probably watch the Grey first before I do the Reversi page.
You guys should give it a shot. Interesting spinoff.
Finally binged it. Quite a good spin off.
Though I’m not sure if the Netflix show gave the parasite the ability to body surf.
I’m thinking that Shinichi is based on the 2015 anime (if the year is specified in maxim) or the 1980s manga. Otherwise, am complaining that it’s quite fast for him to be a reporter.
PS - Not sure if peeps wanna about Grey in the TV section.

This is the part where I mention that I'm going to (re)read Parasyte Reversi. I did read a few chapters, but I didn't have everything.
I recall reading the manga years ago, not sure which version, but I did encounter the one did by TP many moons ago.
And NF's doing a South Korean version, except that it seems to be more action packed than the anime.
The thread for the maxim anime is here:
