History of Animation - Should there be a separate page for anime?

Now I don't really use the forums that much and I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to talk about this because it is actually a useful notes page rather than a trope.

I've been looking up with History of Animation pages and noticed that there are several issues I find with it. Possibly the biggest issue I have with it is the fact that it mostly focuses on western animation rather than non-western animation, including anime. In spite of this however, the pages also combine the history of western animation with the history of anime (but specifically, their history and impact in the west), in addition to also adding in the lists of Anime and Manga in each page. The fact that it combines both anime and cartoon histories makes the pages confusing in some areas (since most of the tropes listed in the pages tend to mostly apply to western animation).

I was quite surprised to find out that there still hasn't been a useful notes page regarding the history of anime and/or a page on how they made an impact on the west (the closest we get mentioning about these is through the main Anime page, its useful notes page and Essential Anime). It would be interesting to have a useful notes page that fully focuses on these.

What do you all think?
