Just finished the last three episodes of Zom 100. Everyone already knows about the issues with the production, but at least the sweat they poured into this anime shows. It’s a veritable explosion of colors all throughout, which matches the enthusiasm of Akira and his crew as they give their 100% into living the best damn lives they can.

The thing is this new studion is made by former OLM team (they worked on Komi-san and Summertime Render, for example). They tended to outsource a most of woprk only handling the key parts themselves. Probably it was way harder after establishing their own studio.

Finally finished Zom 100 anime.
As much as I made fun of the anime's schedule problem, I must confess that ever since the first episode aired it had a special place in my heart.
Almost every single scene in this anime is shot beautifully and filled with energy. The main cast's journey is one of the most invested I've ever been in for any anime/manga works I've seen in a while.
In fact, it even inspired me to make a bucketlist of my own, although I only have 20 of them and they are all longer term goals, like getting a purple belt in BJJ and getting a Ph.D.
All in all, three stars out of four, with half a star deducted for its production failure.

As much as I complained about the anime's scheduling issues, in addition to my other complaints about the anime, its first few episodes were...just, just absolutely PERFECT for me to forget. XP
