As Shao Kahn, er, Nidoran, entered, he saw a very mouthy Riolu and raised an eyebrow... and twitched his ear a little. "...This is... very different. I never thought I'd be on my hands. I can't say this isn't... fitting in more than one way." He laughed a little.
"So who would you all be, other than obvious, Arceus, who I met before." Shao Kahn kept it polite for now, being he isn't in his traditional form, and thus, should be careful.

Briya woke up... and proceeded to say some angry gibberish. The tone used suggests that is swearing. A Ralts with a darker green tip thingy instead of pink and green eyes woke up and said just that. The body is still white, so seems like she really has a green color theme going on. After much angry gibberish, she reacted by... casting something and teleporting closer to Arceus. Good, her magic still works just fine. She looks... up... and up... and realizes how SHORT she is. She's normally human height, and looks at her own body.
Cue more angry gibberish coming out of her mouth. She looks very unhappy. Then she looks at Arceus's legs and asks. She heard the name "Arceus" This must be who summoned her. Time to ask the right questions...
"Where am I Arceus? And WHY WAS I SUMMONED HERE?! AND WHY IS MY BODY DIFFERENT?! MOST OF ALL, WHY AM I SO SHORT AND WHERE ARE MY FINGERS?!"
She sounds confused and angry at the same time.
After this, she just sits down and looks like she has given up on trying to explain this. This is weird, even by magicka wizard standards.

After he was done with his explanation he summoned Ridcully's Hat and pipe like he requested.
"I apologize for the inconvenience, I'm sure you must all have responsibilities on your own world, but my children are close to meet their end and they need all the help they can get I'll not force you to stay if you don't want to but I'm hoping that your concience while let you make the right decision and help me with my noble cause" he responded to the complaints of the actor and the proffesor.
Jhonny cage was at the moment checking himself out and discovered that he also had in fact changed as well into some sort of green puppy, a riolu like Arceus called him.
"ok but did you really had to turn us into furries? I was perfect and beautiful in my original body is a crime against the ladies to keep them of watching my perfect real body"the arrogant super star said as he winked seductably towards Briya and Caitlin "I could take you both to dinner later if you want" he said as he pointed at both.
he then turned around towards arceus and said "Also if you give the panda grandpa his hat why don't you give me my sunglasses" he complained and arceus complied with his requested summoning them rigth in front of his eyes making him smile smugly "well that's better mister godly horse I was feeling naked without them, but I have one last problem, what the fuck is Shao Khan doing here, he's not a hero, he's a tyrant, he has tried to conquer my world for like centuries or something like that, why didn't you bring someone like Liu Kang or Raiden?"
Shao Kahn facepawed at the complete overuse of language. "A lot has changed since the last time I was in a Mortal Kombat tournament. My brother, Raiden, went insane. Liu Kang's a Zombie. You're... dead? I'm going to guess this isn't the same Johnny Cage I met a long time ago. By the by, are those 500 dollars sunglasses?" He said the last bit with a little bit of a smirk and then turned to Arceus. "Well, I don't blame anyone who knows me for being skeptical. I won't deny I used to be a pretty horrible person. That said, I am here to serve and help you. When I gave up my godhood, as well as chose to protect Earthrealm, I understood there's more to life than myself. I was already trying to be on good terms with my family, but it didn't always work perfectly..." He finished with a light sigh. Now what we do need to do? I'm ready to crack some skulls.
...But since while we're at it, I could store my Wrath Hammer away with magic till I can properly use it in some way. Might as well go full out to save the world. Shao Kahn let out a hammy laugh.

. . . That explains so much. So if the one with a wizard hat (logic says that's another wizard!) and the other one can get sunglasses why not her stuff? Ok the guns are a loss. Well... the fairy is not even worth trying. And she really needs a bag. So her bag it is!

Caitlin blinked her eyes open; on some level she understood what he'd just said, but none of it really registered.
She'd been awake for a few minutes, long enough to register that her body had been...fundamentally altered. Well, it certainly wasn't the firsttime that had happened to her, at least; she'd already had to deal with that once when her coworkers had turned on her.
This, however, was...decidedly a different case. She was far smaller with a catlike body, long, rabbitlike ears, and a fluffy tail like that of a fox or a Persian cat. Well...at least she was cute...
Still, there was *one* aspect of this that definitely bothered her...
"If you were looking for great heroes...why me, out of all the other people from my world? They haven't made anywhere near as many mistakes as I have..."
Hearing The concern of Jhonny cage and the insecurity of Frost the Arceus responded "I understand all of your ocncerns but you must trust me that whoever may be called a hero or a villain is not a certain as you may think, Jhonny Cage while you're right that the Shao Kahn from your world is an unrepentant and evil conqueror, the Shao khan that lies here is a reformed and changed man which is determined to make up for his pasts mistakes, chossing one of the friends you mention wouldn't be as sure as you may believe while the ones in your timeline may be noble heroes there are multiple timelines in which they ended up getting corrupted into dangerous villains just as bad if not worse that Shao Kahn, and the same could be said about you Caitlin you may think heroes like Batman and superman are perfect and uncorruptible but there are plenty of universes in which they were turned or even always were worse that you ever were at your worst, and also I don't think mistakes are such a bad thing to have as long as you have learned from it like you two seem to have, after all there's no better teacher than failure"
Johnny then crossed his arms and said "oh nice so after his billions of lifes destroyed and ruined now I'm just supposed to accept him as a good guy now just because he feels bad about it? bullshit, who was gonna be your next option? fucking hitler, come on I don't buy it, you better watch your steps pink bunny I'm gonna be watching you, no matter how much of a good eye for sunglasses you may have" the young actor was pretty understandebly skeptical about accepting that somebody like Shao khan could be trustworthy but that only made him more determined to come to this adventure since he couldn't let some guy like Shao Kahn unsupervised, he didn't knew about the others but if this llama godly thing thought that a guy like Shao khan could be a hero didn't give him a lot of hope that he was a good judge of character so he felt that they were going to need someone he was sure was a real hero, that being him.
While Johnny declared his distrust of the ex emperor Arceus summoned the bag that Briya requested "of course you can have your bag young wizard, having a space to storage items will be exential for your journey, sorry that I changed your forms and limit what you can bring with you, but if I let you in your regular form and allowed youn to bring anything that wouldn't fit in this world then you could probably messed up the order of the universe and cause an irreperable disaster" arceus further explained and then continue "Also you must now that in your corrunt form you all have the potential to evolve into more powerful forms, Caitlin your species in particular have many different possible evolutions, I would reccoment you to chose Glaceon since it's the most similar to the original body you had"

She takes her bag and puts in on the way she did as a human. The long bag strap across her chest and the bag itself on her right side. Thanks to magic she applied, it is now to scale on her smaller body. And will always be to scale no matter how much her pokemon form changes. A check of the contents reveals that most of her stuff did NOT make it, which she expected. However... she finds parts that could be used to make a gun later. Of various sizes, but it's workable. Along with other random stuff. Nonmagical, but that's no issue. No magic items made it though. Not surprising, this world has zero magic.
"Thanks. So do firearms exist in this world? I used guns ok? Though the lack of fingers make it tough to do so. Eh, I can work around that."

Shao Kahn nodded a bit. "I understand your skepticism. I'm aware of these kind of things, after all. I've seen many universes in my time. And it appears I can't get my Wrath Hammer. That's unfortunate, but I should be able to still handle things in this form anyway.
He nuzzled his paw a bit instinctively. "Now, Arceus, you brought us here to help save others, correct? Or am I misunderstanding your... plight. He then turned to Caitlin. "Fear not. We all have made mistakes, but what matters is how we choose to atone for them."" Shao Kahn smirked a little, at least trying to keep up his more hammy and smug appearance, as it's what's expected of him these days.

"I'm afraid you won't find guns in the world that you're travelling towards but if you have the right tools and you know how to build them then I would say that you shoudl be able to fabricate them as long as you manage to get the right materials" Arceus responded as he was happy that the adventurers he summoned seemed to be willing to help him on his plight.
"that's right Kahn I'm not totally sure of what it's but there's a dark force that threathens to destroy the version of my world that I'm about to send you to, I'll need you to investigate what it may be and do whatever is neccesary to stop it, and in the meantime you will have to blend in and adapt to the pokemon world, I must ask you to not reveal to anyone that you're from another world or what your mission is in order to not cause mass panic in the population, I'll send near a town where you can settle in and join a guild so you can form a rescue team so you can earn money and survive in that world, explore it and gather information while at the same time you help out any pokemon that may need help" Arceus lectured towards the crew "I may send you more companions after a while if I find more poeple willing and capable of helping you in your cause"

Ridcully adjusts his hat on his head. I have a few questions - thank you for the hat and pipe, by the way. First of all, what are these "guilds" and "rescue teams" you speak of? They had better not be like the guilds where I'm from, because I have no intention of working with thieves, clowns, or alchemists. He says all three of these things as though they are equally despicable in his eyes (which they are).

Arceus took in the Old wizard's question and decide that they should definetly get an explanation of those "well those are pretty simple to understand, really, Rescue teams are exactly what they soudn like, they're teams that specialize on rescuing pokemon in danger, do sometimes they also do missions like retrieving objects from a dangerous zone or stop a dangerous criminal, you're basically a special force dedicated to maintain order and peace, these teams all work for Guilds which are big houses which give rescue teams a place to stay and to eat in exchange of completing missions of variable levels of difficulty which are given by pokemon that need the help of others and they reward the guild after every succesful mission with a reward of equal value of the task given, either in valuable items or in Poke, the currency used by pokemon, which are used to financiate the guild so they can mantain the rescue teams that work for them and I don't think you're unlikely to find idiots on those places, most of the guild members are pretty decent and kind people, they had to be with their line of work, and if any of them act too inmorally is banned from the Guild and Blacklisted from ever joining another one, also you must know that the guilds give badges to their teams based on their level of experience and power, since you're in your first forms and have no previus experience you'll start on the Rookie category, but if you do your missions well and get more powerful, you'll be able to ascend to a better ranks with time, the better your rank the more priveleges you'll win on the guild, also I must ask something that confuses me, what problem do you have with Clowns and alchemists to the point that you compare them with criminals"

Arceus nodded in understantment as the Old wizard gave his explanation of his dislike for Clowns and Alchemists "I guess that may makes sense to you but I have seen many realms and I can assure that there multiple in which Alchemy is a real and respectable science and some in which Clowns can genuinly be good people I asure you" Arceus commmented, and then he made a few strange berries of different shapes and sizes appeared in front of his chosen heroes "The first kinda food that you should know of are these berries they will be sure to help you in rescue missions, they can restore your wounds and even heal status effects like Poison, paralyzation and burns, apart from that most of the food are fruit, vegeteables and pastries similar to the ones you may be familiar with but I have to point out that meat is taboo in their world since all the animals on it have the same level of sentinence so it would be consider unforgivable to consume the flesh of a fellow pokemon, you would be seen as scum if you did" He warned them to which Johnny gave an audible unsatisfied whine.
"no meat, well that sucks, you're forcing me to go vegan? that somehow worse that being a green puppy" he complained in an immature tone.
"um well technically milk is allowed as long as it was given voluntarely so Vegetarian would be a more acurate term" Arceus said trying to see if it it will make him feel a bit better on the very least.

The moment that the blinding light dissapeared the 5 heroes appeared in the middle of a cold and dark forest that seemed to be covered in snow, looking up in the sky they noticed no other light other that the light of the stars and a fullmoon it seemed that had arrived during nightime.
Jhonny cage's feet trembled a bit as he felt his new bare foot touch the cold floor "you think that Godly Horse thing could at least had left us some boots or sweters if he was gonna throw us into a place colder than the ass of a cryomancer, this fur is not cuting it with this cold" he complained as he held his arms around each other in an attempt to keep warm, it didn't helped that his new species was designed mainly for desert environments, not below zero areas.
On the distance a few smoke lines could be seen revealing where the nearist civilazation could be.
"You think you got it bad? I don't walk on hind legs." Shao Kahn said with a bit of a chuckle, and shivered a little. "We'd better get moving though. Or we'll freeze out here."

Arceus, the father of the Pokemon multiverse, was deeply worried about one of the versions of the pokemon world that was on the verge of disaster, it was a universe in which humans were nothing but myth and in which all who inhabited were pokemon, these ones where made samarter that the ones who existed in universes which humans so they didn't had to rely on them to get stronger and to create an evolving civilization, so they're able to create, towns, cities, organizations and even businesses and among those the most important was of that of the rescue teams, which dedicated themselves to rescue pokemon in trouble and defeat dangerous and evil pokemon from causing destruction and death.
But despite all of their impressive abilities and powers he wasn't sure that they would be able to handle the uncoming storm by themselves so he formulated a plan to help his dear children, for that he decided to summon heroes from different realities outside of his multiverse so they could help him save this universe of his in their hour of need, first he would teleport them to a void between dimensions so he can inform them of the situation and at the same time he will transform them in whatever way necessary so they will be able to fit within the laws of that universe so they won't end up erased from existence or even worse made the situation worse by taking tha tuniverse out of balance by breaking it's natural laws.
"Heroes and Heroines from Distant and strange lands please respond to my call and with the new forms that I grant you help me protect that which I love" he said in a firm but Kind tone that sounded both like a high Authority figure and a loving father figure.
5 lightbeams appeared in front of him from which 5 pokemon in their first stage of evolution came out.
From that one the first one to talk was a Riolu with a strange green fur instead of the usual blue one, he looked around and said "Raiden is this one of your god summoning things? come on man, couldn't you like talk to me with telephatinesis or whatever that crap is called before you did? I was in the middle of the production of ninja mime 2, I was about to kick the new bad guy's ass until you magically kidnapped me out of nowhere" as he complained in an immature and whiny fashion he saw the legendary pokemon god alongside a group of weird animals he had never seen before and asked "what sort of messed up realm is this?" he asked in a confused tone, he had seen a lot of weird shit ever since he joined the mortal kombat tournament and become one of the defenders of earthrealm but he had never seen things like an elderly baby panda, or some sort of pale plant child thing.
