Lauren Mc Kinley is a storyboard artist for the show. She worked as a writer/storyboard artist for Victor And Valentino.

So two things of note:
1. Someone named James Alexander is writing for the series.

2. Devin Bunje mentions waiting for Julie and Sara. I'm assuming he's referring to voice actresses that haven't been announced yet. I can't think of a Sara, but I know a Julie in the form of Julie Nathanson.

I look forward to this show. It also sounds like the next Star vs. I hope there’s a good villain in this one.
Oh thank god, Manny Jacinto is still getting work.
Disney Twenty-Three magazine has an interview with the creators of the show! According to an extended listing available to D23 members they will be airing this June.
It supposedly comes out in June, which is less than 2 months away, and Disney hasn't released a trailer, a sneak peek, a promo, or even a theme song.
What gives?
Embedded version:
NGL, wasn't expecting it to be this bananas. Essentially, a girl who's prone to getting cold feet when it comes to new stuff gets rescued from a killer robot by her badass future self and said future self became a badass savior from doing a list of stuff. So now the girl absolutely needs to kick her cold feet habit to maintain the timeline or something? It's like Phineas and Ferb but there's a deeper reason for all the wacky adventures besides "it's summer vacation."
I'm sold.

Added the show to the Western Animation list.
Seems there might be some overarching plot here even if it's a lot tamer compared to Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, Gravity Falls, or Amphibia.
Also, a press release is here:
From creators and executive producers Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton (Disney XD’s “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything”), the series, set in Oceanside, California, follows Hailey as she is pushed outside her comfort zone to discover the greatness that lies within. Whether she’s tackling every ride at the county fair, performing in a musical, reuniting a singing duo, or facing her ever-growing and complicated feelings toward her best friend Scott, Hailey is always encountering new challenges ― and more opportunities to conquer her fears.
Joining the cast in recurring roles are the following:
- Cooper Andrews (“The Walking Dead”) as Hailey’s dad, Kai
- Julie Bowen (ABC’s “Modern Family”) as Hailey’s mom, Patricia
- Josh Brener (“Silicon Valley”) as Hailey’s academic rival, A.C.
- Sarah Chalke (“Scrubs”) as high-energy scientist from the future The Professor
- Nik Dodani (“Atypical”) as Hailey’s classmate Thad
- Judy Alice Lee (“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”) as Scott’s younger sister, Becker
- Amanda Leighton (“This Is Us”) as the most popular girl in school, Kristine
- Joy Osmanski (“Stargirl”) as Scott’s mom, Sunny

The star-studded guest cast includes Brian Jordan Alvarez (“M 3 GAN”), Blake Anderson (“Workaholics”), World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Famer Mick Foley, comedian Jo Koy, Jack Mc Brayer (“30 Rock”), Bebe Neuwirth (“Frasier”), Chris Parnell (“Saturday Night Live”), Tim Robinson (“I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson”), Natasha Rothwell (“Insecure”), Brandon Mychal Smith (Disney Channel’s “Sonny with a Chance”), Martin Starr (“Party Down”) and legendary satirist Al Yankovic (professionally known as Weird Al).
“Hailey’s On It!” features music from a cross-section of popular genres, from K-Pop to musical theater to pop-rock to EDM. A digital soundtrack with six original songs is set for release on June 9 on Walt Disney Records. Emmy Award®-nominated Matthew Tishler (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”) and Emmy Award-nominated Andrew Underberg (“The J Team”) are the series’ songwriters and composers.
Coinciding with the series premiere, Disney NOW will launch themed updates in two games: Bubble Burst and Color Splash. Additionally, several “Theme Song Takeover,” “Broken Karaoke” and “Chibi Tiny Tales” shorts featuring characters from the series will begin rolling out in July on Disney Channel, Disney Channel You Tube, and Disney NOW.

NGL: the whole "kiss my male friend" thing kinda feels off what with the whole "would I have done this if not for the whole "do this or the future is doomed" thing.
Let's see what else is on the list. If it's comparatively mundane stuff, it wouldn't be really off. Like, a teen's bucket list to make her bolder to become the super agent she is set to become or something.
Wake me up at your own risk.Well part of what's on that list is learn to play the Glockenspiel and invent a new color. Both are relatively mundane items that seem completely unrelated to saving the world. And one of the clips was apparently her trying to ring a carnival Hi-Striker bell. Kissing my best friend who I have complicated emotional feelings for seems much more intense in comparison.
Probably a lot on that list is incredibly mundane things that grant her the skills or mindset to save the world, like learning an instrument gives her a sense of rhythm or inventing a new color makes her more discerning of nuanced changes. Kissing your male friend could mean making a forever bonded partner or ending in heartbreak that leads to emotional resilience.

Where does it say that The Professor is Hailey's future self?
It doesn't, but time travel and a character from the future that looks similar to the MC... kinda screams future self.
Ah, shoot. I actually didn't realize that bit. Sorry.
But yeah, the whole scenario just made me think The Professor is Hailey from the future. Like, who else could she be? A major fan of Hailey's in the future?
Random thought: If the professor is Hailey's future self, it'd be a really fun twist if it turns out that Hailey completing the list isn't actually important to saving the future — Future!Hailey just really regrets not doing all that stuff when she was a kid and fabricated the whole thing to motivate her younger self into doing them. And in the process, she accidentally ends up altering the future for the worse.

Here's an animated poster for the show!
Edit: Here's the still version:

Possibly the actual opening as animated. So yeah, so definitely a mix of the mundane (eat a raw onion and do a corn maze) to the bizarre (make an ear wax candle and roller blade to Orlando from California), though nothing otherworldly crazy as the stuff Phineas and Ferb are usually up to. Just incredibly odd, but still in the realm of possible. How much of the theme song is actually representative or just being hyperbolic for musical rhythm and theme, guess we won't know until the show gets out.
So I'm getting a Phineas and Isabella kind of feel from Scott and Hailey, except from Isabella's POV or Candace and Jeremy. Kind of feels like Scott would be open to reciprocating, just that Hailey needs to make the first obvious move to show she's willing.
Also wondering how much her adult figures are going to play into it. Will it be kept a secret like Phineas and Ferb, Moon Girl, and Hamster and Gretel, or will they be involved and supportive like Molly Mcgee, Amphibia, and Owl House.

Here's a new clip introducing the characters:

Coming in 2023 is a new Disney show called Hailey's On It. It's created by Devin Bunje & Nick Stanton (they created Gamer's Guide To Pretty Much Everything, and wrote for shows like The Replacements, Phineas And Ferb, and Turbo Fast). The show stars Auli’i Cravalho as the title character, Hailey, along with Manny Jacinto as Scott, Hailey’s best friend, and Gary Anthony Williams as Beta, an artificially intelligent operating system from the future.
The show follows Hailey Banks, a risk-averse but resourceful teenager on a mission to complete every item on her long list of challenging (and sometimes impractical) tasks in order to save the world. Hailey will be pushed outside her comfort zone to discover the greatness within as she systematically conquers her fears, whether she is winning a sand-building competition, wrestling a honey badger, eating a raw onion, or facing her ever-growing and complicated feelings toward her best friend, Scott.
Howy Parkins (Disney Junior’s The Lion Guard) is co-executive producer and supervising director, Wade Wisinski (The Owl House) is producer, Karen Graci (Tuca & Bertie) is story editor and Lee Ann Dufour (The Breadwinner) is art director.
Catherine Harman Mitchell is a director for the series. She previously worked as a storyboard artist for Tangled The Series, Big Hero 6 The Series, Duck Tales 2017, and The Owl House.
