How to Gambit a Jedi?

Long time lurker, first time poster. I had a question, how would you run a gambit around a Jedi? I mean, they can kind of read minds, the force is there to tell them something's awry, and they can tell if there's a problem from across the damn galaxy. Unless you shake their reading of the force it seems impossible.

I guess a more exact question would be: how do you Kansas City Shuffle Darth Vader?
