Ah shit, here we go again.

  • Real Name: Nian Zhen Shi
  • Superhero Name: Psion
  • Age: 19
  • Appearance: This annoying bastard right here. Nianzhen is a rather short (5'4", barely,) and young-looking boy with a lithe build; when he isn't using his childish appearance to garner sympathy, his overly small stature does admittedly bother him somewhat and he often attempts to don a hat of sorts to make up for it. Most commonly, he's seen wearing a dark grey baseball cap tilted jauntily to the side. Underneath said cap, Nianzhen has jet black hair and a pair of greyish-green eyes that turn a vivid shade of red when using his Qi, one of them usually obscured by his bangs. He tends to dress in sharp-looking but comfortable wear, consisting of varying formal jackets in darker colours; which generally means that even for a delinquent, he's still lookin' fiiine.
  • Personality: 釋念真 is surprisingly very charismatic for the enigmatic loner he is; it's an unusual occurrence for anyone to see him without his customarily mischievous grin on his face. He's quite polite—although a little teasing—for someone who's essentially an undercover serial killer, both metaphorically and literally.
    • He has a fairly unfocused and immature personality on the outside, preferring to jest his way through situations than really think about them, and acts like a bit of a prankster more often than not. This can make some resent him for his apparent inability to take things seriously (other people's feelings included), but he never seems to care enough for anything to let that bother him. In other words, perhaps he could be described as aloof; he rarely breaks from his air of suave trickery even when he may be on the verge of completely breaking down on the inside.
    • That being said, Nianzhen frequently tends to put on a facade than to expose his real emotions, only trusting himself with, well, himself. As a result of this, he's relatively levelheaded most of the time and is actually extremely intelligent and cautious, despite how harmless he wants you to think he is. He can essentially talk himself out of anything and is quite skilled at thinking on his feet.
    • When he does get upset, though, all hell breaks loose; Nianzhen can be rather violent in the face of combat and loses control of himself to the point that he fights like a psychotic berserker. His formidable skills in rapid-fire attacks and overwhelming force don't help any, or at least just not for his enemies.
    • Outside of battle, however, he's very calm and collected, with a wide enough understanding of people's minds and emotions that he can turn nearly any situation to his advantage. Nianzhen is quite useful when it comes to deception and is so attuned to the subtle movements and quirks that betray others' thoughts that he can read most like an open book. Unfortunately, keeping his actual personality in mind, he's bound to use this ability for rather questionable purposes. He's not shy to betray people, to sell someone out, to steal, and when worst comes to worst, to kill—as long as he knows that he can get away with it, he'll almost certainly do it.
    • Considering the way he manipulates people with pretty words and pulls others around like puppets, he might just seem like a straight up asshole at first, but that isn't true by a long shot. In short, despite his initially carefree-seeming nature, in reality Nianzhen is very internally guarded and plainly hates letting people in for fear of them discovering his vulnerability. In fact, he's exactly the opposite of unfeeling, regardless if that's what he likes others to see him as.
    • Nianzhen's real personality is actually rather subdued and mistrustful—the guilt he's been building up has taken quite a toll on him, and though he constantly denies it, he's lying to himself more than he does anyone else. He often hides behind a farce or mask of sorts, leaving his true feelings to be pushed aside in order for him to mantain a better external image. There's blatantly a lot of confusion going on in his mind seeing as he's keeping far more bottled up than he would ever let on.
    • Gaining Nianzhen's affection and therefore bypassing his highly sensitive tendencies is a difficult task, but once you do for all he knows he'd take a bullet and then some for you, although he would never admit it.
  • Powers:
    • Psychokinesis: Nianzhen is what most people would consider a traditional "psychic"—his abilities are extremely versatile and revolve around manipulating various outside factors with his mind, ranging from simple pyrokinesis to even forms of very minor teleportation or warping when greatly upgraded. Do note that he doesn't possess any abilities of a telepath, such as reading minds or influencing human emotion; something quite different from telekinetic ones. His main usage of his powers in combat is volleys of psionic blasts. Nianzhen's psychic energy is rather weak on its own and concentrated explosions of it often don't do much damage, so he frequently divides it to create a quick, overwhelming series of attacks, with plenty of coverage across a battlefield. He also frequently uses his surroundings to his advantage; his psychokinesis being destructive in nature, chunks of loose debris tend to be very useful for both creating distractions and hurling at opponents—a brick to the face is usually guaranteed to hurt, after all. Said factors being the way they are, he isn't the best hero at controlling property damage during fights, but hey, who's to judge? Other than the insurance companies, that is.
    • Weaknesses: Also like most traditional psychics, overuse of Nianzhen's psychokinesis does not have pretty results. A short list of which include: skull-splitting headaches impairing any senses but that of pain, his aura going berserk and indiscriminately starting to damage everyone around him, extreme strain on his eyes going on vision loss, blood pouring out of various facial orifices like a broken faucet, et cetera et cetera. At worst, this can even result in him temporarily being unable to use his powers at all, for lack of any psychic energy left in him.
  • Gear:
    • Output Limiter: Nianzhen rarely bothers with support equipment, given that his powers come in handy for a variety of things, whether it be telekinetically restraining fleeing criminals or even more mundane utilities, say, lifting a drink to his mouth or for setting up his so-beloved practical jokes. Perhaps it might even just be because he's too damn pretentious to admit he might need help outside his own abilities; in any case, the only significant gadget he carries is a small, attachable power limiter developed by one of his older siblings, to supress the destruction caused by his psychic aura during fights in public areas.
  • Backstory: Those who know Nianzhen often wonder if his given name is some type of cruel joke.
    • In his earlier years, he was practically everything you could want in someone his age—refined, polite, and endlessly intelligent. Easy to grow fond of and often hard to say no to, the quintessential trickster was quite the celebrity with almost everyone he'd meet. But as he'd gotten older, the people around him started to discover just one tiny and yet utterly glaring problem beneath his web of lies: his habit of mischief.
    • No matter what the occasion or where the situation, Nianzhen could always in some vein be found stirring up trouble, ranging all the way from harmless practical jokes to minor crimes. The flawless external image so many knew him by turned out to be just another facade; most of the time, he'd used his aforementioned charm to conceal the fact until that point—with his spotless reputation, no one could possibly have suspected him, right? All until a little misplaced prank cost him for it.
    • With his exasperated parents forced to find some way to continue their lineage (well-known for producing high-grade psychics that made their way up the higher social ladders of the world) without dealing with their troublesome middle child directly, they managed to persuade Quinyuan—his eldest sister, one of the most powerful espers the world over—to send the boy into proper education alongside other such individuals before he was completely labelled a no-good truant. So off to the City it was for him.
    • ...uuuntil that got destroyed, too. Nianzhen himself could frankly care less about his former residence being dead and gone to the hands of bottomless piles of debris. More importantly, now (questionably) as a hero looking for a fresh start, the Saint Foundation was going to be the next blip on his radar—and along with that, whatever set of unusual strangers, allies, and inevitable enemies that would come his way.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Has an assortment of unusual belongings like air horns, canisters of whipped cream, and 200-packs of balloons, because of his pranking hobbies; look to him for anything on the stranger side you might need.
    • He's also surprisingly a natural with most musical instruments, in owing to his intellect.

  • Real Name: Léonardo Arduin
  • Superhero Name: Chimera
  • Age: 18
  • Appearance: About 5'10" in height; wiry build with oddly long arms and clear olive-toned features sporting an upturned nose. Leo has hazel eyes and scruffy black hair with tawny streaks, parting to reveal two round, furred ears. Perhaps belonging to a horse or cow; if one looks closely, they appear to be accompanied by a miniature quartet of daemon horns. His other most prominent features include the clawed pads he lugs round in place of normal hands—each eaglelike talon a little under a foot long—and springy hare's haunches instead of feet, the heavyset fangs lining either side of his jaw, and a sturdy feline tail reminiscent of (and equally as strong as) steel cable. Admittedly, that last one's rather a bit of a nuisance when it comes to buying new clothes, so he prefers simple layers and longcoats in terms of style.
  • Personality: From the very beginning, Leo's had his fair share of trouble of being honest with his own feelings. Sure, he'd like to think of himself as a cool cocky amateur with as much talent to show as he prides himself over, but that's far from who he really is, and does it manage to show.
    • In truth, well...to make a long story short, he's kind of pathetic. Despite constantly trying to carry all the rough-speaking airs of a standoffish loner, all he actually comes across as is moody—or worse, unnecessarily defensive, which usually doesn't help his already tanking self-esteem. In fact, you could simply call him a bad liar. The reason for his behaviour? A deeply-rooted complex stemming from the fact that despite his being supposed to be a hero, he's sincerely terrified of actually fighting a real person, and can't help but wonder how what seems to be everyone else in the world can take it in such stride. As a result, he's often felt that his (pretty extensive) abilities are wasted on him, sometimes even fearing them.
    • But in spite of his aforementioned glaring flaws, there's still quite a bit of merit to his name. Though Leo may be paralysed at the very thought of having to injure someone (even if they are a complete jackass), it would be downright wrong to call him a coward; the one thing that fuels him is an all-consuming desire to defend innocent lives. He wants to be of use to others, and he finds this is how he does it best. In particular, if you'd chance to attack anybody close to Leo, may the rest of the dead have mercy on your poor soul—he may be unsure about his own skill, but there's nothing more provoking to him than seeing people get hurt, the reason he even despises battle in the first place. What truly lies at the heart of all these insecurities and false fronts is an incredibly kind soul, empathic to a fault, although he'd rather die before admitting to something like that.
    • This has ended in him being repeatedly forced to sacrifice his own ideals in order to protect the ones he's willing to fight for, perhaps indirectly solving that one problem...albeit in a somewhat unhealthy way, as instead of acknowledging the fear suffocating him and using said motive to get past it, he simply pushes it aside in his panic in favour of eliminating the immediate danger. For it to then of course come roaring back afterwards, along with a crushing sense of guilt for whatever he'd done to achieve that goal. Leo still has a long way to go; perhaps with time and a little bit of guidance, he could eventually learn to help not only others, but himself.
  • Powers:
    • Cervere Physiology: As a race, the Cervere, known to some as the Pantera or Pantere, are an unholy amalgamation of most kinds of beastfolk out there, intermixed with humans (to the point that the human body is more of a "base form" carrying their chimeric features). This has resulted in their possession of rather...unique anatomy, often varying from person to person.
      • Leo's ursine paws can be used for anything from scaling walls and hanging off ceilings with their more avian talons like an insect, to pummelling with all the force of being hit by oncoming traffic. Granted, they could just as easily be used to rip normal people to shreds, but he's a hero so we won't be having much of that, will we? Another tidbit about this is that Leo can retract the claws outside of fights so he can't accidentally impale anyone, but because of the size of their digits in the first place, it doesn't really help with grip on smaller things. Needless to say, he drops his phone on his face a lot.
      • His catlike features, on the other hand, are useful for a variety of situations. Leo's tail is just as good for balancing as it is for controlling the direction he runs or falls in. Combined with the rabbitlike nature of his legs and the equine endurance he has, he's practically engineered for both acrobatic feats in combat and extended bouts of sprinting. (He's also technically faster on all fours, but it usually embarrasses him too much to run that way.) Along with that, his jaws are plenty to give solid metal a run for its money, though they're more of a last-ditch resort than anything.
    • Irresistible: And this is where the daemonic lineage comes in. The foremost trait of the Cervere is their burning toxin-filled breath, inducing sudden tiredness escalating rapidly into exhaustion, soon unconsciousness, and, if left for long enough, eventually death in anyone unfortunate enough to inhale in its presence. And the worst part? It almost forces you to breathe it in; it's an invasively sweet aroma, forming near-invisible clouds of rosy gas when exposed to air. Interestingly, the amount of toxins you can be exposed to before going down, and to some extent how difficult it is to resist inhaling it, seems to not be based on physical constitution or vitality, but the strength of your personal will. Those with particularly intense convictions may not even be affected at all.
      • Flames of the Tempted: Said gas is not only toxic; it's volatile. If Leo releases certain chemicals from his mouth, any gas in the surrounding environment will ignite, changing their structure completely to become abnormal gouts of flame. Unlike in their previous form, Leo has full control over the scattered toxins cue Fire Nation anthem playing, which in this state have the effect of rotting flesh rather than putting people down like dogs. A very versatile ability; could be used for AOEs, traps, projectiles...you name it. He could exhale out dragon-style if he wanted, really, but he's not too keen on being compared to a sentient flamethrower.
    • Weaknesses:
      • Leo's knockout gas obviously can't work on entities without need to actually breathe, who are...uh, surprisingly common in this world.
      • The flames, on the other hand, have a natural weakness to any holy or exorcist-type attacks.
      • Having so many different traits lended to him is a double-edged sword, meaning he'll have just as many vulnerabilities as the beasts he takes after.
  • Gear: N/A
  • Backstory: For someone who had to grow up as a not-quite-human, Leo's early life passed by smoothly enough—that is, until everything abruptly went to utter shit.
    • Born to two of the more esteemed members of the Cervere, a famous but now retired hero duo for their time, Leo had quite the expectations put on him in childhood. Following in their footsteps was all laid out for him at that point, but he had his misgivings about it; whenever he'd tried to bring his own opinion up, though, his parents always seemed to just gloss over it. Eventually, he learned to keep his mouth shut and force down any personal feelings he had on the subject. "You're the oldest—" is what they'd say sometimes, the reason that grew to affect him the most. "—you should set a good example for everyone else."
    • It was true that his younger siblings were precious to him. Painstakingly so. Why this "example" had to be that of a hero specifically, he didn't know, but if it was for them, what else could he do? He was stirred on to discard his doubts and own fleeting dreams for a different fate, putting on a tougher facade to cope with embarking on this new path. Obviously, it did little but come back to haunt him later, but that's straying from the point.
    • On one day—back then, to him it'd just seemed like it would turn out to be like every other dull day of being lectured on learning to become a hero—a villain happened across a more distant section of his town while his parents were away and set upon completely ravaging it. Leo and his siblings were there at the time, so close, in fact, that they could see said villain with their own eyes. The tidal wave of reality then came crashing down; these criminals, so vile and evil, were also unmistakably people, too. Nothing like the monstrous images he constructed in his head from the stories he'd constantly been told. And that's where he hesitated.
    • By the time the actual heroes arrived, the villain had caused significant damage to the surrounding area and managed to take a few victims (some by way of debris from said damage), including Leo's kid sister, Luculia. Although he'd gotten her out of there before the situation escalated any further, and thus saved her from getting badly hurt, a destructive pang of guilt still clawed away at his mind at her hospital bedside that night. Shouldn't he have done something? Why couldn't he do anything to keep her safe, if he previously believed himself to be able to? Was it all just a lie?
    • His parents rushed back home as soon as they could and tried to comfort Leo; he was just a child, after all, there's no way he would be able to take down a villain on his own; it was the right thing to do to go for help; if he hadn't he could've gotten injured or killed himself. But this all fell on deaf ears. Unfortunately, the fragile farce he'd been putting on until now happened to culminate at this point. The moment his parents had the chance to think "okay, so maybe we fucked up a little raising him", Leo had already resolved to become his mask. Maybe even forcing himself to grow up too fast in the process, with...not very good results.
    • Regardless, upon reaching high school, he finally departed for Super City. After formally training to become a hero once and for all, the next stop would be Saint Foundation; to never let any innocents get caught up in this mess again. And so there would be no running away this time. Or at least, he hoped so.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Leo has a constant sweet taste in his mouth because of his abilities. He hates sugary food, because it always either seems bland or overpowering to him.
    • Out of all his conflicting natures, his feline side seems to be the most dominant (it's called a panther for a reason), and so carries a few odd behaviours like sitting with his paws tucked between his knees or lashing his tail when agitated, though he tries to suppress it.

Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?

  • Real Name: Iona Bassano

  • Superhero Name: Hecate

  • Age: 21

  • Appearance: She's not one much for the "cape and robe" aesthetic

  • Personality: Iona is the learned sort of person. Given the nature of the power and place from which she calls upon to use her magic, she's also the sort to stay calm and level-headed, rarely losing her composure too much in most situation. Despite calling on literal magic, she's got a somewhat cold, logical outlook about the world, though this has softened, giving way to a more philosophical outlook. Some would say she's perhaps a tiny bit heartless, but if there's anyone who's willing to make hard decisions, it's her. She has trouble showing care for others, often making her actions seem less well-intended than they actually are to her. Years of seclusion haven't left her shy, but she is rather clumsy about how she goes about things, often not knowing the right words, and she's perhaps too curious and interested in knowledge for her own good.

    • Although, Iona has changed in many ways since her time in the Academy and during her time in the Foundation. She's more relaxed, less cold. Though the distance is still there, she genuinely cares about those around her, now filled with a sincere desire to do good with her powers. To make up for all the wrong she'd ever done with them too. Her cynicism has softened significantly, sparks of hope and optimism breaking through the shell of what once was a self-interested, egoistic loner.

  • Powers:

    • Elemental Magic: Iona can call upon the Elemental Planes to cast magic of fire, water, earth, air, light and dark and their subtypes. She's advanced to an accomplished level in all of them, though the time she spent powerless and the still remaining fear of losing control has weakened her significantly. In addition, Iona is able to attune to Elemental Energy, sensing it and using it to empower spells in areas where it coalesces strongly in the normal world. However, careful emotional control is required to stop spells from going haywire.

    • Spirit Pact: Iona knows how to and can form pacts with Elemental Spirits. Once a pact is formed, Iona can briefly call them for assistance in a spell or to use their own abilities. With enough skill, time and a good bond, she can summon them for extended periods of time as a comrade. She currently has a brand new pact with a minor wind fairy by the name of Azure, the giant golem of strength, Gigas, and an avian spirit, Halcyon.

  • Gear:

    • Grimoire Iridescent: An old tome that still yet shimmers with a rainbow shine in the light. Carefully engraved into the front cover is an enclosed circle comprised of a ring of four circles, encircling two more. Each circle has a symbol of an element within. On the back, an illustration of the circle on the front intersecting with a circular depiction of a flat part of Earth. Though it appears finite, the pages never seem to reach their end when turned, holding all the magical knowledge that Iona knows and has to learn with a fickle hand.

    • Ring of Arcane Alacrity: Although Iona doesn't need any aid to cast spells, this simple iron band with a single shimmering ruby set within allows her to cast most low-effort spells with simple, subtle hand movements.

    • Satchel of Elements: Housed within this seemingly infinite pouch are a variety of elementally-charged components used to empower spells and perform rituals. It's actually just a glorified bag of holding that only holds items thick in Elemental Energy, also stopping others from exposure to it which can have negative side effects after long-term exposure

    • Insight of The Six Lords: A deck of 24 cards with blank faces and a symbol of one of the 6 elements on the back. Used to do rough fortune telling.

    • Jacket of Prismatic Protection: Though it appears to be a normal jacket, Iona's jacket is actually enchanted to provide protection from the elements. It never catches on fire, never freezes or gets wet, never dries out or gets dirty. It also offers minor protection from hostile magic.

    • Seal of The Elemental Plane: This signet ring has the seal made out of vibrant crystal that shines with the colours of the rainbow. The seal is of the same design as that on the front of the Grimoire Iridescent. But this ring is more than just for show. In the presence of large amounts of Elemental Energy, the seal changes colour to match the type of Elemental Energy. It also protects Iona from all Elemental Energy exposure, allowing her to move through the Elemental Plane unharmed should she enter it.

    • Halycon's Plume: A feathery cape that's the symbol of Halcyon's boon upon Iona. This cape allows Iona to hover just about the ground, glide and ensures that she's never affected by adverse natural wind or sea conditions. With a bit of Elemental Energy manipulation, Iona can attain true flight.

    • Time's Reprieve: A lustrous gold pocketwatch that Iona often hangs from her waist, it does not actually tell time, being perpetually stuck at 12:00. Rather, it serves to assist Iona in casting a spell that restores a non-living thing to a state it was in up to an hour before, hands moving backwards the appropriate amount of time. While in use, the gold changes to an obsidian black. Once the spell is complete, the watch counts forward to the 12:00 as usual, and can't go behind more than 12 hours.

  • Backstory: Born in a small town in Italy, Iona normally humdrum life changed at around 13 years old when she came across an old book on the Elemental Planes while browsing the library. With the spark of curiosity kindled inside her, she sought more and more knowledge about it, unaware of the superstitions and taboo associated with calling upon the Elemental Planes. Her parents' fear and frustration grew, eventually forbidding her from pursuing the topic any further.

    • Frustrated by the growing fear and rumours going around about what she thought was simple curiosity, she took off on her own at 15, running away. In doing so, she came across a most curious speaking bird, who introduced himself as Bellpepper. At the time, Bellpepper heard her plea as she broke down about all her pent up frustrations. With his help, she managed to track down a group by the name of the Society of The Iridescent Gem, a cabal of mages who venerated the Elemental Planes, Spirits and Lords. What followed was 2 years of a grueling apprenticeship, being taught the ways of the Elements and the meanings in their essences.

    • After creating her Ring of Arcane Alacrity, the right of passage for all apprentices, she was officially accepted as a member into the Society, being handed her own Grimoire Iridescent, Seal of the Elemental Plane and Satchel of Elements, and took Bellpepper on as her familiar. And as all new members, she was now mostly on her own, tasked with going on a pilgrimage to come to her own, deeper understanding of the world and the Elements, to discover new things and experiences for herself. Seeing the potential in the world of superhero society, she called upon a friend in the Society to sponsor her attendance to Saint Academy, and ventured forth into the dark unknown of a world age knew little of.

    • After leaving Saint Academy post-Gaea attack, Iona wandered the world, continuing her pilgrimage to understand the Elements and what they truly meant to the world, her skills in the mystic arts growing over the years. But dark whispers of fate called her back to Super City, and she followed. Eager to hopefully meet her old friends once again, she joined up with the Saint Foundation.

    • In the aftermath of the Savior invasion, Iona bit the bullet and confronted her inner demons (almost literally) in a trip inside of her mind, confronting her darkest thoughts in order to regain her powers. When her friends left the Foundation, she did too, clinging to the one group she had grown to enjoy being around, and to seek a personal redemption for all the wrongs she had caused in the past.

  • Miscellaneous: Has a familiar called Bellpepper. Is a member of the Society of The Iridescent Gem.

CHARACTER CREATION SHEET

  • Real Name: Dylan Freak
  • Superhero Name: The Surgeon
  • Age: 26
  • Appearance: Tall, thin, and wiry in a way that almost seemed like someone was playing with a character creator for too long. Most of his face is covered by a medical mask but his face is expressive enough to get a good idea of what he is feeling at any given time. Can normally be found wearing a white doctors coat regardless of where he is or what situation he is in. Through under it he is usually wearing a T-shirt with a turn of phrase or some kind of picture printed on it that might be a joke if told by someone who had no understanding of humor.
  • Personality: Odd to the point of being utterly alien to the people around him, through he does have most social cues down. However despite his various quirks Dylan has a habit of cutting to the heart of matters while others might dance around the subject. He views the protection of life as a priority beyond anything else, and will go to any lengths in order to ensure the continuation of someones existence regardless of morality.
  • Powers:

Complete Biological Control- In regards to his own body Dylan can freely manipulate every bit of his body down to the last atom so long as he understands what he is trying to manipulate. He can instantly stitch wounds closed, increase his strength or speed, and boost any function of his body.

Cross Stitch- While he is physically touching a person or object Dylan can apply 'stitches' to it, binding together things with a surprising amount of strength. While they appear as physical objects the moment they are broken or cut the stitches themselves disappear without leaving a mark.

Keep Going Gummies- Small candies of his own design which copy his Biological Control with a command to 'fix' wounds in others. They take about an hour to be fully effective and taste utterly horrible.

  • Gear: Keeps a near full medkit on his person along with a number of small snacks and other tools. He also carries a number of sedatives on him for combat purposes, in both aerosol or liquid forms.

  • Backstory: Dylan had always been considered odd to others, mainly due to his utter fascination with everything in the world. In his youth it would be odd to see him not turning pages in the library or researching something on his phone or computer, and would more often then not discard topics once he came to the decision 'there is nothing more to be learned'. The only subject that seemed to truly hold his interest was biology, studying it to a degree that was more then a bit frightening. One day his family had found his arm cut open, with Dylan looking about in facination as they screamed in terror. But before there eyes the flesh stitched itself back together and all Dylan would reply with is 'Okay, I think that is a start'. From there Dylan rushed through his studies and entered the world of medicine, but eventually found being confined within a hospital was a bit on the dull side and entered the world of heroics.

"The best way to cure someone is to be there right when they are injured."

Real Name:Alan Parker

Superhero Name:Sheena

Age:21 when he first contracted

Appearance: Alan's human identity: [1]

As Sheena: [2]

Shade: [3]

Personality:Alan is a rather kind and soft-spoken individual with many of the qualities one normally sees in traditional heroes, such as a desire to protect the innocent and helpless, and to punish the irredeemable and monstrous, although if it comes down to it he'll prioritize the former over the latter. He's also fairly studious which has helped him gain better control over his powers.

His "Sheena" persona seems more energetic, quirky and fun-loving but both personas share a strong belief that people should not be controlled and be able to live their lives freely, regardless of the consequences.

Powers: Superhuman Physiology: Despite what their appearance suggests, their biology is leagues above the normal human, and even some superhumans. Their physical strength is enough to tear light poles out of the ground and punch craters into concrete while being agile enough to pull off massive jumps and other inhuman acrobatic feats.

Their body is also tough enough that they can shrug off most forms of small-caliber weaponry and even caught in a large explosion will just give them a concussion, at worst. They also heal much faster than normal humans.

Prehensile Hair: Their hair comes to life and acts to protect them from harm, usually by turning into fists, spikes, shields, blades, and so on. One of their favorite tricks is to conjure a number of explosive potions and have her hair hurl them like shots from a grenade launcher.

Void Magic: Their specialty when it comes to Magic. As its power is limited only by will and imagination, it can be used to achieve many feats, including:

Void Travel: Sheena uses their scythe to cut open rifts in space-time. The portals are self-sustaining but drain energy depending on the distance they cover. A simple portal across a battlefield only requires a few seconds to recharge while something like popping over to another part of the world requires a lot longer.

Potion Creation: Sheena reaches into her Void Pouch and is able to pull forth various types of potions and elixirs. The main ones they use are: Strength Double, Speed Double, Invisibility, and Explosive.

Nothingness Inducement: Sheena cuts or touches something and is able to render it void of a particular concept, be it gravity to cause objects to float or the friction in the ground to make it slippery. They can even use it to reject certain events like someone being harmed or use it to fuse forms of matter together.

Weaknesses/Limits: Their reality warping abilities are linked to the tools they wield, and as such, things like losing their scythe prevents them from most forms of Void Magic until they regain it.

Dowsing their hair with water or freezing it keeps them from using their Prehensile Hair until it dries.

Void Magic is a powerful force but it is unable to truly erase a target from existence on its own, regardless if it’s alive or dead.

The potions Sheena makes are not lethal, but drinking more than one of the same kind tends to have...funny effects like dizzy spells, or not so pleasant ones like a convulsion. Also, their invisibility has the glaring flaw of still casting a shadow.

Gear: Dimension Scythe- A large scythe with a black handle and a blade with runic lines drawn on it. Along with its ability to cut through abstract concepts, it is sharp enough that it goes through solid steel like butter.

Void Pouch: A seemingly ordinary pouch they carry on their belt, but it is actually an infinite storage space with the added benefit of conjuring almost anything Sheena needs with the only condition being it has to be something it can fit in her hand.

Witch Dress: An elegant yet very tough and flexible set of attire made from the Void itself. It operates as like a second skin, of sorts, for Sheena and thus can be altered to their whim. It can even repair itself when out of combat.

Backstory: Alan has a story that is not what one would call the happiest, nor outright tragic but perhaps the correct term to use would be complicated. You see, when he was a child, his father abandoned him and his Mom to essentially fend for themselves, taking with him most of the family income.

As a result, his Mom was forced to take up extra work to make ends meet and Alan from a young age was forced to be self-sustaining, whether that be cooking simple meals or tidying the place so his Mom could rest when she came home.

Despite their situation, the mother-son pair remained close and Alan continued his schooling, excelling at his studies...but over time, possibly as a way to cope with his situation, a Void if you will, he found himself drawn more and more to the world of the supernatural. A love he kept hidden from most people as he figured they wouldn't understand.

Perhaps that Void was there for a reason as when he was a grown up, he was on his way back to his apartment with some groceries when he heard a soft sobbing coming from an alley. He went to check and found, not a human, but a small black blob-like creature that was clearly hurt.

He took the creature home and nursed it back to health, where over time the two became friends, with Alan even giving the creature the name Shade as it had none.

However, their peaceful existence was interrupted one day by the appearance of men in suits who had come looking for Shade. Despite being offered a very generous sum for giving up his friend, Alan refused and one of the men summoned a spear of light and drove it into his heart.

Shade, though, refused to let Alan die and, revealing its true identity as a Void Elemental, forged a pact to save the life of the man it had grown attached to. Despite the side effects, Alan gained the power to fight off their attackers and thus normality for the former human truly died.

From there, the pair had many adventures, sometimes on their own, other times working with, or against, other powered beings. Their latest adventure now begins when trying to keep a particularly powerful Tome safe only for it to be destroyed and have its pages scatter all over a certain parallel Earth...

Miscellaneous: Alan is a fairly capable baker and cook and has even managed to have his goods take second or even first place in several contests.

Despite enjoying his time as a super-powered heroine, a part of Alan does eventually want to settle down and do something a bit more mundane, like become a counselor or pianist.

Alan, despite his seemingly cool and level-headed exterior, is actually kind of a dork when it comes to anything related to anime and video games. This is especially prominent as Sheena whom does not hold back from gushing over how cute something is.
