Realizing how many heroes were after him, Zero hit the eject button and waved goodbye, as a bright flash hit and he was teleported out.
The woman went along with Ferro, and explained to him which direction the ne'er do well went.
The children said their thanks to Ferro for rescuing them, and before long they were all in safe places away from the fighting that had just more or less concluded.
Ryan Brady looked down as he punched one last robot into a steaming pile of mechanical waste, yet again he let his hot head and tendency to get wound up almost hurt somebody. Even though he knew it was probably gonna get him punched or something, he went ahead and approached the other heroes who were in the field. He was not dressed nearly as colorfully as they were, nor did he set as much of an impression as the demons or the others present.
"Hey uh, sorry about how close I cut it there."
Meanwhile, the werewolf who had stolen the mirror would see it stolen from him in turn by a lowly local thief when he so much as left the room. The other local thief had been casing the area for some time, and he'd been bewitched when the werewolf set down some sort of elaborate golden mirror.
And the moment he touched it, he heard the whispers from it and ran off with the mirror tucked under his shirt.

An Ordinary Oddball
Ferro thanked the woman for the information and went in the direction he was pointed in. Sure enough, there was a bit of a racket going on in some of the houses. Someone was stumbling around inside of them. Were their occupants home, or was it someone else?
Ferro couldn't tell, but readied his sword-cane just in case as he moved forth to investigate the noises. Fumbling, he took out a phone and called the police just in case there were intruders up ahead.

"Well, whichever way did he go, Madam?" Ferro asked. "I may ask some of the heroes here to accompany me in arresting him when all of this is over. For now, I think the safest thing to do is go to the police station to report the theft."
He gestured over his shoulder to the fracas going on.
"You don't need eyes to tell that's not good for you and the children," he said. "Come along, now. I'll escort you."
