Since this one's been dead for more than a week, nothing more than a quality upgrade of the current's been suggested, and we're severely backlogged, I've swapped in and will lock this one.

The image contains the trope title, but it's more of a subversion. It would be more fitting in Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World or something along that line. But at least a quality upgrade would be nice.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
