[Scotland, Europe]

The Blue Slime burned to death, leaving some gel and copper coins. Rena avoided the gel, but picked up the coins.

Rena: If you had my boots, we could get there faster than you could say "high noon". However, I'm afraid I'd probably leave you in the dust if I took off with them.

A Blue Jay flew by and roosted on a dead log. A Green Slime hopped on its place, dissolving it and leaving a mess of feathers.

The Green Slime didn't care to attack the travelers and kept jumping away from them.

Rena: I don't know what I've just witnessed.

Irene found out more about Morgan, back at the rundown village that Rena left behind to explore the wilderness.

Irene: You didn't come from the same place I lived in, huh?

Morgan: I'm afraid so. I scarcely remember my homeland, full of beasts and other fantastical races.

Morgan: Perhaps at this time, more people are currently settling in this world as we speak.

Irene: I never thought about that.

Irene twirled around her Handgun again in a circle.

Irene: Say, I've noticed this place is well furnished. You have any decorations to spare?

Morgan: I haven't the time to get more furniture at this moment.

Irene: ...damn.

Laura turned to Karl.

Laura: Sure! We're all new around here, it would probably be best if we all work together.

Karl smiled, "alright! I hope we can all get along." he said to Laura in a friendly and upbeat tone.

"Probably. We've got plenty of time to get there before sunset at least."

Again, the thought of saying that it could always be worse kept bugging Josh. Heck, he could faintly remember that...guy who's name started with an A back home said something about slimes raining from the sky at one point. ...Or something like that.

"...Let's just make a note anything that would be friendly is just as likely to be horribly mangled by something that...isn't and leave it at that."

Slimey hopped over to the other people.

Slimey: Hi!

Laura: If you don't mind, I'll go inside for a bit. This umbrella's surprisingly heavy.

Laura started to head to one of the houses.

[Scotland, Europe]

Rena: We should probably keep going south to find out if the place where usually England is has anything special. Has anything been said about how populated your home was, Josh? It seems to be you remember this part of the map specifically.

Two starling, a sparrow, and a white rabbit frolicked in the moor where Rena passed by. She stopped to pick up the rabbit as its nose twitched. Rena wanted to cuddle it, but felt a bit uneasy.

Rena: If the sun sets and I start having periods a hour later, then this thing might kill me...

She let the rabbit go and it started hopping away.

Rena: Something forced me to go all pissy one time before. I saw red both literally and figuratively, and I'm afraid it's going to happen again any time soon.

While Rena had thoughts ran into her brain, Josh might probably tell her "what's the hold up?", getting too into herself instead of continuing to find more land.

Josh couldn't help but shake his head. Everything was still...a bit hazy.

"I was...pretty busy and I think others who were there were pretty much in the same boat. I know there was some guide...guy who was helpful but kinda cryptic...another who kept trying to sell me dyes for clothes...and the occasional traveling merchant. The guide guy should still be there but I'm not sure if anyone else is."

The young man smiled as he kept walking and talking as he blinked in surprise as something clicked, or rather, he remembered something.

"Might still be some of the potions and building materials there. I did kinda leave them behind when I was off looking for that shooting s-" Josh stopped in his tracks and trailed off, glancing back at Rena and her lagging behind.

"...Um, are you alright? I...think we're making good progress so we can stop if you want to take a break. We've still got plenty of daylight to work with."

[Scotland, Europe]

Rena noticed Josh telling her she was holding up his time.

Rena: Sorry. I got carried away. I've never seen rabbits back home so I had to take the opportunity. You said we were going somewhere did you? I wonder what the Britain of this world would look like.

"...H-Huh? Well, I was just going to scout out the area around the settlement, y-you know, see if there was any landmarks that stood out...like...a tree as tall as a skyscraper or caves to check out or places to avoid. Then, well, you looked like you had somewhere in mind to go so I kinda followed."

Josh gave a slight, if nervous smile.

"I-I did see a few t-things on the way, t-though. Think I even saw a dull shine of iron...metal...kinda like the old rundown chests...but I didn't want to hold you up since, like I said, I thought you were leading the way."

Side note: Ouch, sorry I took quite a while to get this going.

[Scotland, Europe]

Rena: As long as we keep heading south, things should be fine.

As Rena looked at Josh's map to see where they were heading, she could feel that they would be ending up where a road would usually be indicated. When it came into her field of view, there was no road to be seen.

Rena: Weird. All I see are a mouth of a cave that looks like the head of a worm and a ravine.

She took a closer look at the ravine, lighting the darkness with a spare torch she kept for latter use. No water to be seen. It was quite deep a hole though, as she could see a Giant Worm pass by.

Rena: I think we should probably just walk our way around this, mister. It's probably our best effort if we try to reach where England is before the sun sets.

"Wait, what...? But that can't be right..." Josh remarked, taking a glance at the map and the area around them. It...didn't make any sense. "...Guess I'll have to start again from scratch...although if that's the case, I'm getting an uneasy feeling there might not be much waiting for us when we get to England..."

The mention of a ravine made the young man go slightly pale as he tried to just keep walking forward. "A-Agreed. We can check out the cave when we have others with us. The ravine...j-just going to ignore that altogether if at possible."

"...S-Speaking of others...wonder how they're going. H-Hope they're alright, e-even if the most they probably have to worry about is slimes. ...O-Or the occasional flying fish if it was raining...at l-least there's a fair bit of wood and stone if they n-need to build more stuff..."

Rena: Seems like the ravine is not something we'd look at right now.

Making sure that she doesn't leave Josh behind with her Hermes Boots, they followed the map Josh carried with him towards where Perth would be located usually at his home of the United Kingdom.

A couple hours later, they came across a forest, filled with more trees than the heaths that the wandering duo passed by. In the forest was a small shack built with Stone Blocks.

Rena: Y'know, with this forest I'd expect some large tree in here like those you sometimes mention before meeting us. Considering trees that big only exist commonly in the country that I used to live in^note redwoods that'd be a little too far fetched for something that seems real to us right now.

By the time they arrived to see the stone hollow, the sun was at its peak and was going to start on its downwards path.
