I made this thread after posting this in ATT:

The page on Goldfinger has four examples of Famous Last Words, which just seem to be literally their last words. They don't seem all that famous or iconic to me.

I also see that this trope has been brought up several times before as problematic because of this very reason. Is it still problematic?

This trope may need a cleanup and repair in general. The description is too vague as to what constitutes famous or notable last words, and is misused to simply quote people's last line before dying, regardless of context, as noted in the example above, as well as one noted in ATT.
