Didn't see a thread around about this, but let me know if I just missed it. This season there's been an anime that's been pretty simple and fun, even if it's by no means masterpiece material.

The basic idea: Shut-in author ends up with a stray. Both slowly become friendly to each other and make each other understand the world a little more.

The fun part: The series pulls a Perspective Flip. You start each episode seeing everything from the perspective of the author, and then halfway through the episode, you see that same time period from the perspective of the cat.

At first the human part of the episodes weren't as entertaining as the cat parts, but I feel it's evened out more with the latter eps.

[up] I can agree with that. I'd say it's from the human's growth over the episodes, and maybe also the time scale shift.

Also I really love the opening theme and animation. There's a kind of playful energy to it that gets me excited for the episode every time.
