So this game came out of complete nowhere for me. Take an odd artistic platformer and you got GRIS.
But the art is all in watercolour and the game looks absolutely beautiful. Seems like Cuphead and Hollow Knight gave a new rise to very stylized indie games recently.
The synopsis of the game on Steam and the official website is that Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.
