I named my profile after myself and it's consistently odd to see the male protagonist called by a woman's name.

I mean the game told you to name the character so I don't know why you guys assumed the character name and account name would be different. Personally I named the prince Jassana because I like the name Jason but felt it didn't fit with the names we had been introduced to at that point so I altered it into Jassana to fit in.

I've been playing for a few days. I've not had the best of luck, sadly. From around 8 10-rolls or so, I've gotten 2 5* adventurers, 0 5* Dragons (aside from Pele, but that was through blazon summoning) and 6 5* Wyrmprints...

I like the game, but it is a buggy mess and I love and hate it for it. On the one hand, enemy attacks sometimes make me clip out of bounds and I have to restart or spend an eternity in the nothingness, on the other hand, once every teamate disconnected during the last seconds of a raid battle and froze the boss, so it didn't do the party wipe attack and I could kill it at my leisure.

The game itself is fine, but I don't think I'll ever graduate from doing just standard quests, since I spread my resources thin with 20 characters to have elemental teams, and the fact that everything I pull seems to be low tier.

Hm, I've never encountered those problems myself, but I know a couple of people with older phones who have had similar issues, mostly involving character models not loading (they're just completely black) and the game freezing on them.

My summoning experience has been... serviceable, but I've only recently got a 5 star Dragon (Poseidon) and still lack a 5 star character since I didn't bother to reroll and linked my account before I even started the game. Heck, I still don't have any of the 4 stars I want.

That said, I also only rolled, like, three times (including the free one) since the game's been out, and I'm still sitting on over 3000 Wyrmites and a couple of unused 10-roll tickets. My current favored characters are Cleo (who's literally on every team regardless of element), Amane, and Malora, but I want another healer of a different element and Juliettanote .

The main problem I'm having with the game is how thin my resources are being spread because I'm trying to raise a bunch of characters of different elements. Part of the reason I stopped summoning was due to "shiny new toy" syndrome taking over, leading to me spending gold and mana raising a bunch of units that usually end up being bench warmers a summon or two later. So right now I'm trying to figure out if I want to use up the rest of my summonsnote  and then pick who to focus on from the results, or just focus on what I have right now and grind up money and crystals for later use.

I would highly recommend picking one person of each element to focus on first, as having a powerful unit you can control is vastly more important than having a full elemental team. I mean, even the highest level version of the current raid fight can be done without any AI partners at all, just four good players with good water units (I've done this myself to get the "no deaths" achievement).

Honestly after watching this video which has tips for beginners and the rest of the poster's channel I've been sticking to focusing on one or two character. Namely Elsanne and Ezelith though if Mym ever becomes available as an adventurer unit I'll have to get my hands on her and train her up.

It'd be weird to make our Mym an adventurer and have her turn into other dragons, though. The original Mym who fought alongside Alberius might be an option.

Good god getting co-op partners for this event is the worst thing. It takes, what, a full ten minutes for people to join the room, and that's assuming they stay there, and aren't some ridiculously underlevelled wind unit.

I got... three fights in two hours? That is just awful.

The main problem is that it takes three times as many people joining, and wings are rarer than stamina. Which combine to mean that hosts have to sit there forever.

Wings really are way too rare. I'm now at the point where I should be focusing on Special raids over Expert ones, and that means that I need to wait an extra hour per fight. That's pretty insane.

It'd be weird to make our Mym an adventurer and have her turn into other dragons, though.

I mean there's an easy workaround: if they make Mym a playable adventurer they can make it so she only can only shift to her dragon form. Would make her stand out from other adventurers/dragons but that's fine.

I'm not sure overriding a core gameplay mechanic is "easy" but that could work, technically.

Why does absolutely everything force a disconnect? I was hosting a Special Raid that got killed because I got a low battery notice.

Yup, that's happened to me too. Also, like, getting a phone call. It definitely seems odd for a game meant to be played on a phone to be so sensitive to interruption.

Funny those disconnect, because in my experience, the phone going standby doesn’t disconnect and neither does the app losing focus...

I did experience that low batt thing and it pissed me off...

Anyone got the bug where an Epilogue appeared in the event... I clicked it and it says it wasn't unlocked yet, then it soft-locked the game. When I restart the game I'm stuck at the loading screen after the menu. [lol]

Okay, finally managed to draw a fourth 4-Star Water Hero and went so far as to beat Expert. I'm still kinda behind; only now have the Smithy leveled up to make 4-Star weapons and I'm a long way from the next upgrade...

It is funny sometimes being the player with the lowest Might, that manages to get through the fight with all their characters intact. Using the i-frames granted by skills to dodge makes these fights surprisingly easy.

Might is basically an arbitrary number. High Might doesn't mean the player is any good.

Also, a lower might Water character with the event print will do much better than the pimped-out Maribelles people keep trying to sneak in.

Halloween event was datamined! The costume alts are 5* Elisanne, 4* Althemia, and 3* Edward. You'll be able to collect pumpkin snacks to make and upgrade a structure for powering up Light Heroes.

Yeah, I'm running a full Water party and had the most aggravating thing happen. I was lowest Might on Expert, again, everyone was at least using a water lead...and then one of 'em has to just stand in the blast area of the volcano, without even bothering to escape to the safe zone I opened up or make their own. Would've been a perfect clear had it not been for that.

Might is still a useful value to quickly gauge the damage a player can dish out and the amount of mistakes they can make before they go down. With time limits on raids, wyrms and imperials, it is not at all improper for hosts to expect a certain power level without spamming "nope".

Of course, smart hosts will probably check someone's team if it's, for example, a mono-water with multiple raid wyrmprints. I'd probably take a 7k might mono-water over a 10k might mishmash team with a water lead.

[up] I got maybe, 2 perfect clears on Expert out of the bazillions that I've been doing with randoms. [lol]

A smart host will just trust their team to be decent, because you waste more time by filtering people than you do by trying and failing the mission. If someone pops in with 3.5k I'll still go ahead because I trust myself to carry them.

And frankly you only need two good players with decent water leads to kill the boss on Expert. Everyone else can die on the first attack and it doesn't matter in the slightest. Going out of your way to build a full water team is cute but ultimately meaningless, at least for currently available content. So I think judging people for it is ridiculous.

The timing is a little trickier on Special, but 6k should be enough if they have a water lead.

Edit: I have an unequipped Euden with 11 points allocated for Player EXP+ on my team, and I don't care what you think.

Yeah, I'd instantly Nope you. Not necessarily because it's impossible with your team, but because having inappropriate units is the #1 indication that someone sucks and has no idea what they're doing.

Actually, in my experience the #1 indication that someone sucks is that they judge other people's teams and go "Nope" all the time. Glad I've never played with you and I haven't lost a mission in days.

Seriously, people who go "nope" are extremely likely to be the worst player on their team. If you struggle so much with these missions that you feel the need to minmax the other players, what's happening is that you're failing to realize that you're the weakest link and that you consistently require other people to carry you.

This is just what I've noticed.

I had a guy come in and go "Nope" and he wouldn't click ready so I just started the mission without him and we won.
