Honestly with this chapter you can see Bahamuts fears they couldn’t stop Xenos was justified. No wonder he planned on destroying the timeline to make a World of Chaos so the paradox could ensure its existence(and therefore everyone else’s universe).

Voice Actor Sean Chiplock got all the Adventurers.

He has transcended Whaledom.

Also Kaleidoscope is where the Metatron info comes from. Forgot to mention that tidbit.

Likewise the Halidom and Sacred Tree are both fairies, with the latter being the First Fairy Bahamut created.

Finally got Bondforged Zethia, and watched her adventurer story.

At least one of the plots I was worried about (the church plot) did get a conclusion. I'm not sure if I like The Scrolls of Perdition plot point ending up becoming a "Shaggy Dog" Story. It already was getting there with the reveal that it was just Meene's Journal, but the fact that it became so irrelevant that Ilia saying Elisanne was a descendant of the Goddess's personal knight and that any of the descendants could produce the keys to perdition and remain alive (enough for a small event in itself bringing back Nino and the other unused keys) was just an aside in the second episode of the story, and the Scrolls remained unearthed except for the one in the Dragonyule event.

I mean, I'm glad it was resolved, it was more than I expected and more than what the Syndicate plot got, but it still feels bittersweet.

There’s lots of plots unresolved, like how Grimnir and the Time Police from the future, or how they’re combating Chronos and Morsayati still in said future as well.

I actual feel bad for Loki cause they were clearly setting him up to screw with Xenos plan at some point, only to kill him off in Bondforged Eudens story with Loki pulling a VERY ruthless Secret Test of Character to see if Euden could stop Xenos.

DL definitely got too big for its britches.

it kept bringing up more and more and more plot points without finishing up what it already had, to the point that it was really hard to keep track of everything that's going on.

and now it's nearing EOS, and its scrambling to even somewhat conclude a fraction of them.

Guessing they had the expectation to have time like Granblue to approach plot points at its pace (GBF notably has only really wrapped up plot points in the last two years out of 8).

It definitely felt like they expected to last for five years at least.

Sadly cause of EOS we actually lost an opportunity to satisfy one plot thread with Prometheus and his oldest brother Atlas aka the evil one for Valentines.

Well, I finally got all the Gala units. Convenient for me that both Nedrick and Chelle shared their final rerun, but I won't say I didn't expect it.

Audric and Aurelius canonically dislike communicating with their family.

It’s kinda funny cause Nedrick has to put a stop to the civil war still ongoing cause he decided to keep it going even when Nedrick and Finlorda are working with everyone. While Audric makes his point clear and makes even Nedrick understand he loves them all including him before disappearing.

Also feels like based on whose getting these profiles there may have been plans to have them all be playable at one point in time]]. We even have one for Xu Fu and our benevolent monkey fiend.

The final half of the story is released, and Xenos is every bit the sadist I expected and proves other world Euden is a Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist considering Xenos gets bored easily and likes to entertain himself with tormenting insects.

Yeah, that ending's gonna stick with me

Have yet to finish the main story but making an entire final boss phase center around using Force Strikes on one of its adds with no clear and immediate indication has made me lose almost all goodwill I had because I can't stand Force Strikes.

Just put a rapid fire manacaster or something in reserve. Not that it matters, because that phase seems to be scripted to end after attacking the main body enough regardless of the adds.

That’s why I have the gun units whose force strikes rapid fire.

I actually had Gala Zena on AI take care of that, so I didn't need to do any figuring out.

My final team was Bondforged Euden, Nedrrick, Bondforged Zethia, and Gala Zena.

I just kept whacking away until the next QTE started and I could do more damage.

Amusingly, I had almost the same team, but replace Nedrick with Ilia.

Admittedly I came to greatly dislike how many facilities/weapons/other upgradeable team bonuses there were to minmax for numbers because at a certain point I realized that farming all these obligatory bosses and levels one after the other and manually clicking through various upgrades was mind-numbing to me so I'm probably not as well optimized as most endgame people should be with this final boss.

You don't need that much for normal difficulty.

I have no idea what reasonable metric I should be on by anyone's standard tbh.

Trials of the Mighty and Agito weapons were the tier of materials that I think I've barely touched?

They just gave a gift of about a bajillion agito materials. You'll be fine.

The ending was fairly good, I should not have browsed Reddit right after and have it ruined with shitposting >>.

Though is there any clear reason why Mordecai can be revived if he also directly comes from Xenos?
