Seeing that the 'god' was apparently pacified, Alloy undid his transformation and quietly ruffled Nancy's hair after she flopped into the pillow for a good cry then turned to give her some space, though some of the others put more effort into attempting to comfort her. He just hoped it wouldn't overwhelm her.
Up on Melancholy hill.
Time passed, as it did often, and once everyone was given the time to rest, recuperate, and understand the current situation, Seisen sighed, his eye still red from the blood with no sign of clearing up. He sighed, exhausted, and gestured off to the side where Dan was currently walking down the infinite bookcases, looking for "examples of his greatness" influence in the other worlds.
"Our...guest, has been pacified. I am currently reeling from recent events as told to me." He reached down and put a comforting hand on both August and Nancy's shoulders, giving them both pitying looks for a moment before he shook his head. "If you two need time, I understand." He spoke to them, before he looked to Yuriko.
"I have the book." He spoke to her as he gently made it float over to her. "If you're all ready. I understand the past...well, day has been tiring for a few of you..."
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?

Nancy had taken the time to pack up her belongings from her old home and move them to the Hub. With her mother dead, a lot of questions would be asked. She could almost see the headlines: "Mother And Child Disappear Mysteriously." Her things were strictly limited to her clothes, medical supplies, and her phone—needle and new thimble included, of course.
There was no time to cry over spilled milk. She had a job to do.
"I think I'm ready," she said quietly. "I got the bad things out of my system."
She currently stood in her Rider garb, with the thimble safely stowed away in a leather pouch on her belt (so that's what it was there for).

“We’ll live...probably.” Yuriko sighs, taking the book. “After all...we’re the only ones that stop all this, right?”
She allows the book to fall open. “Even if we aren’t ready...we have to make due with what we have.”
The Hub
Haw: "Seisen, you should be the one resting, your eyes are bloody."
Hawthorn reaches out for book.
Haw: "the book clearly has a physical toll on you if not a mental one."

The current situation was difficult, but from what Seisen had said, if he wanted to cure Geki's victims he'd have to get stronger. Physically or emotionally, it wasn't entirely clear.
"We have to keep going. Who's up?"

Kenshi just got up to his feet and looked at the others.
"I'm in" He said, shrugging "I am more annoyed than anything, but I am ready to go"
Looking at the book, he felt he had to do something.
"Maybe at some point, I could use the book" He said "Just if it starts really affecting"

"Perhaps it would be a good idea." Seisen nodded. "For someone to take the book for the moment. To lessen the strain." He handed it to Hawthorne, and opened the book.

Haw: "before we leave everyone up for a mission please gather around me."
Hawthorn stands waiting for everyone going to come near him.
Haw: hushed "okay before we leave some needs to go take Dan's trinkets away from him I dont care how, he's psychotic and prone to betrayal. Hes likely to try and attack seisen while we're gone and he's not up to that right now."
Hawthorn looks around the group for affirmation.
Haw: normal tone "after that is done we can travel to find the new rider."

Nancy nodded. "Good point," she said.
She sent over a couple of strings to wrap around Dan's belt and trinkets and yank them off of him very stealthily.
However, at the awkward angle she was standing in (and didn't realize was awkward), she might be able to yank his pants off instead...

Regardless of if the trinket taking works, Yuriko turns to Nancy.
“...hey..Nancy-chan? If you’re not feeling up to a mission so soon...you don’t...y’know...”
August whispered, though so quietly the others might have trouble hearing.
"Sure. Uh..."
August just stared at Dan for a second, but Nancy did something before he could, which was for the best seeing as he couldn't really do subtlety.

"Foolish, truly foolish!" Dan mumbled to himself as he angrily flipped through the book he was currently reading. "There's hardly any mention of me here! The one true god! Not like these fakers, like Gaim, or Deus, or Pantheon! I'll show them all!"
So caught up in his own self important rambling, Kuroto didn't even notice the belt snap off his waist, Gemn and Dangerous Zombie Gashat in Tow.

Once Dan's belt and Gashats were safely in Nancy's hand, she hurriedly stuffed them under the bed she was sleeping on a moment earlier. The sheets were sort of like drapes, so it was a good hiding place.
"...Death is part of everyone's fate," Nancy said sadly. "And there's no use crying any more. We have to stop the other villains before they cause more death like what we've seen."
"Haw, would you care to do the honors?" she asked Hawthorne.

Hawthorn go over to the bed and takes the belt and trinkets from underneath.
Haw: "nancy, under bed is the first place people look for lost things."
Hawthorn tosses the trinkets to kenshi and August, he hands the belt to yuri.
Haw: "if you're all ready let's go."
Hawthorn opens the book and a portal with it and steps through.
August caught a gashat, Dangerous Zombie landing in his hand. The symbol on his hand glowed as the gashat did, for the brief moment it took to transform into a key; This one was white, and where most had the symbol of Ventus, it instead had a visor and some pointy hair
◊. At the top was a strange orange head

"Huh. Neat."
With that, August followed Hawthorn through the portal.

What did the next world have in store for them? Hopefully, it was nothing like Rider Code's...

Yuri takes the belt and walks through the portal as well.
Meanwhile, in GATE
“Haha! I got the signal!”
“Then hurry up and open it!”
“Paitience, you two.”
The Security team huddled around Jung’s terminal.
“Juuuuust about...woo! Locked on! Opening...now!”
A miniature version of the book’s portal opens in the middle of the room.
Paragon, using his henshin form to recover, nods. “We’re lucky...using the data from the portal Azami’s new friends came through...our resident genius was able to replicate it somewhat.”
“Uwaaaa, Chief, you’re making me blush! Aren’t I too young for you?”
Paragon chuckles dryly. “Perhaps...Mendez, deliverer our package.”
Matthew nods and hurls a wrapped ball into the portal, earning a startled “kya!” from the other side.
“Yer not supposed to hit her, Matty!”
“...my hand slipped.”
“Liar!”

"Ok, let's go" Kenshi said "But if this backfires on us, no more sneak tactics and I'll just slap him down face to face if he " Looking at his new figurine. A wizard stood, raising the staff from the ground. The Wizard. He'll get it for real later, probably, but for now, it'll do.

Landing in the new world, the group would find themselves on solid ground and in the middle of a very dense forest. Trees as far as the eye can see, and their clothing having changed from the modern set to something more Feudal and traditional, especially in Japan.
They stood on the middle of a well beaten path that stretched both in front of them and behind them. The sounds of nature, from the wind blowing to the birds chirping and the bees buzzing echoed in their ears, and not much else.

Blue cloth swirled around Nancy, and when it receded to parts unknown, she was wearing a dark blue haori and kosode with black accents, along with a pair of dark grey undivided hakama and straw sandals.
Two emblems of two needles crossed behind a spinning wheel were embroidered with silver thread on her haori—which was a hint to her powers, obviously.
Her rapier also changed dramatically, flattening and lengthening until it had turned into a katana with a lengthened handle, which was where the eye of the needle was. She could still use it to sew up Tears. That was a relief. A sheath formed out of nowhere and Nancy felt more information about how to fight with such a blade being put into her mind.
"Men's clothing?" Nancy wondered. "Is this some kind of commentary on my character?"

August's clothes changed, his tunic being replaced by a black haori and kosode, and his jeans with divided umanori hakama. As he got his bearings he looked over his outfit.
"Neat. We don't really have much history left on this era. Samurai seem pretty cool though."
August seemed to frown at his feet for a moment.
"Not sure about the sandals..."
As August looked around he didn't see much. However, he was once again impressed by the fairly mundane scenery; there was a lot to be found in this unruined nature. Listening to the tranquil sounds, he pretty quickly lost his train of thought.

August looked from Seisen, to Dan, to Nancy and back and forth a few more times. Hoping the former two would sort themselves out, he turned to the later. He knelt down and picked up the thimble, gently placing it in Nancy's hand.
"It's ok. Or, it will be. Whatever you need... we're here."
