Title search and search bar are getting fixed, right?

I don\'t know if this qualifies as a frequently asked question, but I have asked about title search on a different part of the website before. Where specifically I cannot remember, just that a moderator that I also can\'t remember suggested I ask in another part of the website that I can\'t remember. Noticing a pattern? There isn\'t a search feature on the website that can find my previous topic.

So I\'m starting with title search, because it doesn\'t work at all. I was waiting for it to be added back to the tools drop down under resources but now if I type in words I know are the titles to specific pages it will instead tell me the pages don\'t exist.

And then there is that search bar on the upper right hand corner of the screen. It used to be \"powered\" by Google, but I can only assume it is not because Google powered search bars tend to give results, and indeed the bar that used to be there did, but this feeble impersonator gives about two hits unrelated to what is put into it and then acts like changing the search settings will make a difference. To test this, I typed in Athtress, a term associated with the now defunct professional wrestling promotion JD Star. Sure enough the professional wrestling sub page of Audience Alienating Premise was not among the search results, despite athtress not being misspelled. And to test that, mispelling it in the search engine does bring up one page where it is also misspelled(Lioness Asuka), but given the search bar\'s already established performance, I have no way of knowing if it hasn\'t been misspelled on several other pages that I may stumble upon only through Wiki Walking. Typing in Hikaru Shida gives similarly sparse results, and none to the wrestler, typing in \"wrestling\" or \"Ice Ribbon\" with her still fails to bring up Every Year They Fizzle Out, which features all the relevant words.

Obviously this makes correcting previous mistakes, updating information and general curating much more difficult than it used to be. Wrestlers and promotions that already have pages on the wiki are sort of saved by the related tab, assuming cross wicking was done, but continued cross wicking, especially for new pages, is not as easy as it used to be. Furthermore, finding new pages takes longer without title search. I could put the genre page for pro wrestling on the watchlist I guess and hope to run into any pages not cross wicked on it by wiki walking, but I\'m not putting literature, videogames, films live actions, films animated, anime and manga and every other medium, sub medium and genre I\'m interested in on the watch list. I\'d get too many notices to act on.

The search bar does have a \"preview\" to another upcoming search function, but as of now it has the opposite problem. Typing in \"Hikaru Shida\" instead gives several pages where the words are no where near each other, if both are on the page at all.

There are my statements, my question is if these points can be taken into consideration as the site is updated. Can we have a title search on the tool drop again that works? Can we have a top search bar that peters out in the double digits at least? Or am I the only one seeing these things? Are they working right for everyone else? Is it my computer/connection rather than the website? The search functions for the forums seem to be working alright, it\'s mainly those for the wiki that are not.

Blue links don't seem to be working on the forum now. But if you remove the weird symbols from the URLs you should be able to view the pages I was linking to.

Locking as it's already in the bug report.
