I'm not good with remembering all of these names, is the father of dickhead the Zen'in guy who was with Maki and Nanami?

Yeah Naobito was the one with the framerate technique. Actually surprised to see him croak, the Shibuya Incident must have taken a bigger toll on him than I thought. I also love the fact that Fushiguro was named the new head. Who cares about the sexist asshole whatshisface? He's nothing but a sacrificial piñata.

I'm excited for Yuuji and Choso's team up. I kind of expected Todo to be there too, I hope he does join them. They'll be the vigilante brothers of the jujutsu world.

Not too shocked. The only reason he did not die instantly is that Jogo got distracted and did not double tap him. Considering that Nanami was a dead man walking after getting roasted by Jogo, it make sense that Maki and Naobito did not fair much better.

Also Naobito wanted to make Megumi the next head the second Toji sold him to Naobito. The only reason that did not happen is because Toji made asked Gojo to interfere. Which is why Naobito's will said to make Megumi the head if Gojo was out of the picture.

I was wondering. What if Choso "realizing" Yuji is his brother isn't just a memory trick? What if Yuji actually has some relation to the Death Paintings?

Like, even before he swallowed the first finger he was superhumanly strong and fast. There's definitely something that's going on with him.

Well, there's also the bit where Choso mentions that he felt Yuji in mortal peril, the same he did with his actual brothers.

There's that, but sorcery is strange so I have an easier time thinking whatever Yuuji's ability is just warps other people's perception of him to fit the narrative as cleanly as possible.

Actually, now that I think about it Yuuji doesn't even know he can do this.

Despite Choso being helpful right now, remember that he is kind of super evil, he was assisting the Disaster Curses and was outright murdering random innocent people so he would have more blood to control.

From the sound of things he is planning on awakening more of his brothers.

Interesting that the Zenin's note that Megumi is trying to find Yuji.

Plus since Naoya seeks to kill him in secret that indicates Megumi hasn't actually gone rogue yet maybe. He was knocked out at the end of Shibuya so presumably what made Yuji go rogue happened without him being aware.

Its rather interesting, the last students seen with him were the Kyoto students plus Panda and while they clearly warmed up to him its questionable they would actually defect to his defense.

Man its curious which if any students sided with him.

I'd say Choso is more neutral than outright evil. He only really cares about his brothers and their wellbeing, everyone else is just collateral damage for that goal

I mean, once you kill innocents because it's more convenient than not doing so you kinda give up on neutrality.

Man, is it just me or was there very little education for a series that's set in a magic high school? Yuuji got his training during the Mahito/Junpei arc and the rest has been field experience (to put it lightly) and now he's on the lam.

From what I remember, the school was an editorial mandate and Gege was initially not planning to include it. Which explains why it's unbelievably unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

Dang, really? It was the administration forcing high school settings on us all along!

Seriously though, that does explain why the high school thing was a slightly awkward blip on the radar.

I've been wondering about the probability that there are other disaster curses lurking around. I mean, when it comes to the great fears of humanity, there's still fear of death and disease for example. Maybe we'll be seeing more of them in the future?

IIRC Mei Mei fights a disaster curse based on smallpox and Yuji fights one based on locusts

Since techniques are ingrained from birth, there's not much you can teach. Only the basics are really teachable.

I imagine more Disaster Curses will show up. Back in their first appearance it was mentioned they had a boss.

I didn't know, but frankly it's not surprising. it gives some focus to the story and an easy way for new readers to get acquainted before quickly moving on with the main event.

In hindsight schools are pretty pointless since Jujutsu Sorcerer's pop up rarely. The entire Tokyo school across multiple grades is just 7 students, there is not even 3rd years listed just 1st and 2nd years. While Kyoto only has 6 schools with no 1st years. Both schools combined thats as much as a single classroom. Plus it is a bit odd that future clan heads like Kamo are joining what is essentially public schools instead of receiving like private tutoring or something.

Also man this weeks short was weird. Seeing Hanami and Mahito in sailor-fuku, with the former being shipped with a ripped looking Jogo is a weird sight.

There are 3rd Years and 4th years. But the 3rd years all got suspended, and the 4th years don't participate in the Sister School event.

The first years also don't normally take place in the Sister School event, but the Tokyo 2nd years needed the backup.
