Got my wish, an epic fleet battle with a lone individual soloing them all in an expectedly shonen way.

Eventually we're gonna see Shiki fighting on the hulls of ships while in space & it will be glorious.

The crew made quite a big entrance. The hype for this arc keeps on increasing!!

Hmm, given all the death talk I wonder if anyone's named dying. Oasis has pretty big flags.

Huh, so Shiki's is in a Dark Gravity mood? He hid it well.

Oh, absolutely. Like why else give the detail about the corpse being unrecognizable.

Side note: I have a lot of respect for Nero's strong anti-"doing stuff" stance. Like, yeah, not getting involved in this arc is probably the best way to ensure that it ends well for him.

Of course, the way he explains it also shows just how utterly selfish he is. He outright admits he doesn't care if billions suffer and die or even if his own empire falls as long as he comes out on top.

It's telling that one of his oldest subordinates is shocked by this. It's apparently the first time he ever saw this side of his boss.

Hmm, so ep 3 added a little bit of Shiki actually attempting to land the ship. Didn't end too well.

They also made Norma look less cartoony. I kinda hope they don't do it to every planet though, I like that Kingdom Hearts look.

Huh, I wonder if the colour page implies that Homura's of drinking age. FT didn't quite bother with that, saying it's 15 in the verse, but they kinda go out of their way to say they're drinking "soda" in the first EZ chap.

There's a lot of people with green hair in the series. Shura's the latest. Wonder if it's cause Mother has green hair.

Oh so the sand was ash all along. Nero 66 sounds like an awful place. No wonder it only has like a single city. Granted a LOT of the EZ planets have that feel going on. Well it's nice to get a somewhat uninhabitable planet after a while. Closest thing would probably be Norma or the mud one.

Huh. Straight up to Shiki vs Shura? Really surprising. There should be like one to two days left for the tide. Getting the sneaking feeling that Ziggy bamboozled Shura and didn't actually go for the All Link.

And Shura finally gets punched in the face. Doesn't affect him much but it's a good start.

Huh interesting power difference. While Shiki’s use of gravity is primarily limited to his personal gravity and whoever he comes in contact with, Shura is a more traditional Gravity Master able to manipulate the gravity around you at a distance.

Interesting that Shura straight up calls Nero a monster. Wonder if that's a crack at Nero's appearance or at his fatalistic and selfish personality.

I'm guessing this first round will go as well as Shiki's first round with Drakken....

Oh right, we got another new Becca costume for the game plus a peek at the Edens Zero's interiors.

It's in response to Shiki calling himself the grandson of a robot. I feel like it's a nod to Nero not being human.

Also I appreciate that both Shiki and Shura recognize that their job here to fight each other. Like they both have important things that they should be doing, in theory. But all that's gonna be taken core of by other people until the gravity user grudge match is over.

Episode 4 aired. Covered 3 chaps. Seems like a good pace. Didn't add anything extra far as I saw. Sibir's bot was CG but it wasn't too bad for CG. As a side note Xiamoei's VA is the daughter of Mother's VA.

The next chapter released early in Brazil and there are already English translations for it. didn't expect Shura to hit shiki is his weakest point

Episode 5's out. Covers up to Sibir's defeat. Certainly looked pretty at times and had some nice soundtrack moments. Wish they lasted longer though.

Gotta say, I was expecting them to at least finish ch10 this ep, but nah, they end it halfway through with an anime original scene of Elsie reaching Norma in her overgrown ship.

Quite enjoying the anime so far. If I had a minor complain, it's that they might be overusing those freeze frames, for lack of a better word, after Shiki does anything.
