Kingdom Hearts III Spoiler Thread

God, I love this game.

Its easily the best usage of an attraction in game.

Thing is that I DID it earlier by accident. And hated it. And it didnt kill them all either.

And I've spent the entire game actively avoiding using the fucking attraction commands because I hate what a tone killer they are.

So, fuck you game.

The train one is the best one, so I think it's fair.

Yeah the train rocks.

Man, you really are nitpicky with the game. I get not liking it, but the elitist tone that you seem to take with it seems like a bit of an overreaction.

Just saying.

The train summon reminds of a Bayonetta summon during a boss fight.

Hell, I actually like the Attraction summons because they reminds me of a Bayonetta summon or a Bayonetta Torture attack. Kid friendly, of course.

the train has to be done near the end as a finisher. and train is the best because it's only used twice in boss battles. once at the begining and once at the end

I usually don't like those, but that is hilarious.

I do kind of wish the train still had Raid ability though. I thought it looked cooler with that.

Attractions are overpowered mood killers that happen way too often. (Lol getting Pirate Ship during Dark Aqua.)

Thunder Mountain is the only good one because it's scripted and doesn't swing the mood too badly.

Not sure if its true but apparently Eraqus uses -dono for Aqua after she becomss a Master in Japanese. He apparently does if for Terra at the end of KH 3 as well.

Yep. Pretty much.

Still fun, though. all that matters with this series.

I never got attraction flow being overpowered, if I can actually get it to take out some enemies it doesnt get them all and half the time it misses. I usually use it to kill time till magic is back

I don't know what you want me to say.

I came here for a good story and a well developed game that, yeah might have cheesy or stupid moments, but is mostly consistent and good.

I instead got a half baked mess. The Disney Worlds are mostly bad. The story is garbage and makes no sense and doesnt even have structure. The whole thing is a tonal mess.

I'm not being an ass and I'm being completely genuine in this question, but what am I supposed to like about this game? I'm literally at the end game and have been practically bored to tears by what's supposed to be an action packed climax.

I don't mind if they are Mood Killers. I find the attractions fun.

They can be scaled back in later games, but I'm fine with the system as is.

I didn't say you don't have to like it. But the series has never been good at story telling. Its always been cheesy, but full of Heart. Just like the series name suggests.

Thats why III doesn't bother me.

Ok but no seriously, I don't think any Kingdom Hearts game except maybe KH 1 or Days has anything resembling a decent story. I definitely never expected KH 3's plot to stand up to scrutiny.

I don't know what you expect because others like myself like the worlds and game. No amount of complaining is going to change endless repetition of how you don't.

And the dialogues always been cheesy and ridiculous.

I still think its better than the previous games's stories.

Not a high bar mind you, but thats fair.

I think the primary goal of the Kingdom Hearts series is to be fun.

If it accomplishes that (and I'd argue that every single game in the series has to some extent or another), then it's a win in my books.

That's not to say I don't have my issues, of course.

I will be honest, I did not use the attractions at all. I always canceled when I accidentally activated one.

So did Even endanger the entire Universe to get bodies for Roxas, Namine and Xion, or did Xehanort already have all the Replicas he needed, and Even simply took advantage of Xehanort's preferences? Because if Xehanort didn't have all 13 darknesses ready before Even's intervention, that's some serious What the Hell, Hero? on Even's part.

It definitely accomplishes it's goal of being fun, for me.

It certainly has some disappointing parts, but that's been true of entire franchise.

the secret reports said there was 20 replicas made from the first batch of which xion and repliku were two.

They already had twenty of them for use. So Even uses the Organization to perfect the ones for Xion, Namine, and Roxas.
