...which is again completely unrelated to original discussion: whether SJ is full of noobs or not.
I disagree with your assessment of quality too, but that's not discussion I feel like get in right now.
That's you making the quality of the show part of the topic. Besides, aren't all discussions here, including SJ 2 being a pupstomp and Pito being a crazy dick part of the overall assessment of the show's quality?
Nope, I didn't such thing and I don't plan make it part of it now either. From beginning my single and only point was rebut your assumption about majority of players being noobs.
Once quality of writing become topic of discussion, then I decide whether address it or not.

So, what do you think about the shows writing?
> Yeah, the fact that Fukaziroh can just get into the game and after a short training be better than most of the contestants is embarrassing.
Actually, Fukaziroh spent every free moment she had for a MONTH getting good with her grenade launchers, including spending time figuring out indirect fire. meaning she's doing some pretty complicated math - Trigonometry - for ballistic shooting in her head! She's a VERY smart cookie. She might be using a slightly differnt HUD with a compass 360-degree item, but thats still not easy.

Pitohui's fully embracing the Sith Lord role what with Darth Maul's lightsaber and all.

Episode out:
I don't think running through an open field towards a building with enemy snipers inside willl ever become a viable strategy.
Also, how did LLENN miss Pito inside of the car? That's not on the level of bad aim anymore, that doesn't seem physically possible.
She wasn’t really aiming, just pointing the gun in Pito’s vague direction while airborne, and Pito seems tough enough to soak up a few ricochets from something as weedy as a P90.
What's precedent ever done for us?As I said, it's not remotely on the level of bad aim. In fact, you'd have to aim very carefully to not hit someone inside a car while shooting through a hole in the cars roof directly above their head.
I guess it all got deflected by Pitou's plot shields.
Maybe she did hit Pito, and Pito tanked it.
Also while she's not wearing a lot of it, Pito is wearing armour and the game seems to have some sort of damage modifier depending on exactly where you're hit. Between that, the armour over her torso and head and LLEN pulling off a spray and pray... in mid-air... from an inverted position.
Yeah while I'd find it off that it would miss completely, but not doing more than ricochet and scratch damage is believable. Especially if Pito hit herself and M with a med-kit between LLEN passing overhead and when we saw them out of the car.
Should've aimed at M there, tbh. He has less plot armor.
That, and her car suddenly becoming driverless would had a good chance of knocking Pito seriously off-balance.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Tropers/Shlugo: In contrary I think such suicide rush can became new meta... for teams of scrubs with only one ace, that is.
You know, I meant to mention this before but when Pito was standing on the Humvee with her photon sword... was anyone else's immediate thought "Drive closer! I want to hit them with my sword!"
Not at first, but now I find that really funny.
That was my first thought and I did just find this◊ so it seems to have been a common thought.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellThey went for the Yuri ending. Last day of Pride month too.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Yes! My inner shipper and surgically attached Yuri Goggles have been vindicated. Though it looks like Karen is not that ready to jump in feet first just yet. Though Pito / Elsa seems to be interpreting it as Karen playing hard to get.
And Team T-S did not make themselves any friends with that little stunt of theirs. While LLEN permanently cements her reputation as GGO's personal Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog.
Holy shit, that was brutal. Usually you have to have robots involved to see something like that
Heart pendant. Thaaaaaaaat's a courtship present
...I'm sorry, I can't ship it. Karen has too many options that aren't bugfuck insane. Even if she likes 'em unstable there's Clarence, who's just regular crazy
Well, that was fun. Would recommend, and hope for an S2

I'm half-expecting Jun to show up in Season 2 as a mercenary player like that Behemoth guy.
Thing is, Karen has only one option who shares her love of creative video game brutality to quite that extent. Sometimes, you just need someone to go ‘... that’s hot’ when you administer a tracheotomy with your teeth.
What's precedent ever done for us?And bonus points when it's the recipient of said dental tracheotomy
I don't see how the opinion of other people should influence my view of the show's quality. So yeah, with the grievances I've mentioned (plus a few others that don't make as fun debate fodder), I'd say that GGO is, at best, kinda average. Pretty good up to episode 6, though, which is why the show ticks me off like that.
