"Sometimes bad guys make the best    close enough for government work    good guys"

In Character Information: Congratulations! As a meta-powered individual who has made some unwise personal life choices, you've been spending time as a guest of the government in either a maximum security prison or a facility for treating the dangerously insane. Now, however, you have a chance to serve your country by joining the highly secret Task Force T.

As a member of Task Force T, you will be outfitted with the latest in explosive remote-controlled nano-devices and then sent on a mission. Failure, capture, or public exposure will result in your messy death. Success means will lead to special privileges and perhaps even a governmental pardon for your previous crimes.

Good luck!

Out of Character Info: I've been trying to come up with an idea for how to do a Dread campaign on a bulletin board and decided to try this.

The story idea is basically a story based on Suicide Squard.

Roleplay will be based on a modified Dread system... when you want to do something with a degree of risk, the GM (me) will assign a number of 'pulls'. You can either chose to avoid the risk by not doing what you wanted, deliberately botch, or make the number of pulls. For each pull, use Random.org or other method to create a number from 1 to 100. If the number matches a previously 'pulled' number, your character fails and something bad happens to your character, usually death (GM's choice). If after all your pulls you haven't matched a used number, you succeed. If you choose to botch, your character takes the bad stuff (which may include death) BUT otherwise succeeds. After someone fails or botches, the numbers reset, so that the risk of failure goes down significantly. The usual scale (At least at the start) will be one pull for minor difficulty, two for something important or rushed, and three for deadly peril. I'll probably allow players three strikes before a character dies, but may adjust this as we playtest or if a charachter is supposed to have a high damage thresh hold.

A character can try to push another character into a path of danger, usually at the cost of a pull. For example,' Snake' and 'Badger' are climbing the side of a building using a rope. Several pulls have already been made and Snake is getting worried about what will happen on the roof. Snake decides to 'push' and announces he's going to cut the climbing rope below him. Snake makes a pull and succeeds. The GM decides that Badger has to make three pulls to stop himself from falling and resume climbing, now without a rope. If Badger fails any of the three pulls, Badger dies and the numbers reset, making it much more likely Snake will survive the next set of pulls with nothing bad happening.

Player name: Nodrog

Character Name: Director Pat Fanny

Former status: (Criminal, Lunatic, Mercenary, etc): Government assistant director put in charge of Task Force T.

Background story: Pat Fanny is a firm patriot who believes in making any moral sacrifices in order to protect the United States of America. Pat's unwavering (some would say fanatical) patriotism and utter ruthlessness has propelled Pat's career to the point where Pat has received permission to reactivate the Task Force T program and recruit a group of low-level villains to accomplish missions too important or too classified to trust to normal heroes.

Physical appearance: Pat is about five foot four, heavy set, with dirty-blonde hair worn short. Pat usually wears pantsuits and no one, not even Pat's superiors, are sure what gender Pat is.

Powers/special skills: Highly manipulative, skilled in Tai Krav and handheld fire arms, with human level physical stats. Intelligent but not at the level of a super genius. Pat has memorized the weaknesses of all prospective Task Force T members, as well as carrying around a control unit for their detonators,

Suggested role on the team: Mission Control but not an active member of the team.
