Well, it makes sense that the Princesses are quite philosophical, they're goddesses after all.

Speaking of which, Yukari is like the coolest. She has a real depth of character and really good raptor with Princess Ichikishima. Their discussion was a real fun to watch.

Well, now we know why Yuzuki was involved in the whole thing and it makes some sense. Now only Yukina and Yomi have no real motivation, but I guess one's crazy and the other an empty doll.

Kanami finally dealt with that annoying girl. About time.

Well, I have to say I didn't expect that this would be the direction they'll take Hiyori's character arc. So is she now the poshuman super-being that Princess Ichikishima wanted to create?

21. Hiyori had to become cool one day I guess. Yay, more Yomi fun to come. So that's the angle they're going with for Kanami. The only people that have really managed to face her are Yume, Yukari, and the Princesses. Well the isolation angle is always fun. And it was fun to see her act a bit villainous. Too bad Tagitsu is the master troll.

Well, this was all around terrible, at least everything that happened after Hiyori cut down the Princess.

So I guess even an evil god is now match for Kanami, who's so much stronger than everyone else because.... uh, she's just such a genius, I guess? Power of Lazy Writing is without equal it seems.

It's bad enough that they made the least interesting of the girls the main character, but is this much shilling really nessecary?

And now, after this rather stupid fake out, they sacrifice Hiyori who actually had interesting character arc, personality, conflict and set up going on, so they can focus more on miss "Swords are kwel!" who's probably show everyone up by defeating yet another god.

Sigh, the second part was a mistake after all.

22. The end of the world sure is pretty. Sayaka honestly had the best moment. Was rooting the entire time for the Renpu President to bite it. Too bad Yomi had to hang on long enough to save her. Anyway, I like Tagitsu, so i'm just gonna root for her the rest of the show.

23. I really wish the fights were always this good. Usually they fall flat, but when the budget is there the smoothness and intensity of the swordplay is really great. I do enjoy me some cosmic BS where the laws of space and time are more suggestions than rules. Tagitsu continues to be the MVP, and I'm sad that she's probably dead now.

24. I like this sort of ending. With the world ending conflict done a more introspective and personal conclusion for the main heroines is allowed to breathe and come to a satisfying conclusion. Once more they get to laugh at time and space. Everyone not dead gets a happy ending, even those that really didn't deserve it. A somewhat ambiguous ending where we don't see them reunite with everyone, although I'm sure they made it.

I feel kind of conflicted with this show. It has some surprisingly good concepts with the world building, swordplay, nature of the monsters, and more. The characters are all interesting with their own backstories and motivations, and no one important feels left behind. The fights can get intense when the budget was there. But something held the show back. On paper everything was great, but the direction just couldn't live up to what they wanted to do. I don't think it was bad, but it always felt duller than it should. It all lacked impact. This show won't win any awards, and I have no idea how other aspects of the franchise are doing, but I think they put in a good effort for the anime at least.
