Eberk, sitting notably lower than the rest on account of having the shortest horse, guided his horse closer to the others with an ease unusual for dwarves, "Ayy, we've got a long road ahead of us. Who knows what we'll find, maybe somethin' to keep you short-lived folk alive longer. An' if we don' plan on settlin' down anywhere for any real time, our journey'll go a lot quicker."

Johnathan's attitude towards finding something about a possible treasure or artifact about extending his some of their lifespans was unsurprisingly optimistic, if unintentionally fatalistic.

"Perhaps. I'm sure some of us here might be hopeful for something along those lines to have more time. But then again, if you're an adventurer or spending your life fighting or defending others, well, it won't help much with that. Still, I don't mind if we take things a little slow, half of the point of this expedition is to learn, right?"
