"EVERYBODY, MOVE IT!", yelled Cap. He leaped as far away from the projected blast radius as he could, all the while keeping his eye on the Adaptoid. "EVERYONE, DON'T ATTACK IT! TRUST ME ON THIS! FOR NOW, JUST SCATTER!"

Wonder Woman was silent as Artume ranted at her, every word picking away at her resolve to continue fighting. "Artume...you really felt like that? I didn't- We shouldn't have had to compete against each other at all." Maybe her sister had all the right in the world to be angry at her, but she was struggling to figure out how to fix things. Surely there was a solution that didn't involve murdering one another.
Pulled out of her own thoughts, she glanced back at Angela, and then to Artume again, trying to make a choice. Her hand squeezed the Lasso of Truth, and then she put it away. She was the one that had pulled Angela into this mess in the first place, so Diana was responsible for her safety. "I'm sorry about what happened, but...I'm not giving up on you. Not yet," she said, and then turned away from the other Amazon to come to Angela's aid. The Bacchae in between them were easily maneuvered around, and Diana was surprised to see her still standing.
"Angela, are you okay? We need to get the poison out of your system!"
The redhaired girl pointed out the vial Angela had been hit with contained poison which Artume confirmed after a few seconds. Ok, points for figuring that out. She really wanted to help too, and Gwen had a soft spot for normal people rising up to be heroes, being one and all. She silently cursed her mentally cursed herself for actually going along with Rose's request. She sighed.
"You want to help? Alright"
Gwen landed with Rose just a few meters away from the fight. Artume had put Diana into the difficult situation of having to choose between letting Angela die poisoned or letting Artume get away scot-free.
"I think you are forgetting someone!" Gwen ran up to where the evil Amazon was right while shooting webbings at her face right before trying to punch her.
NYC Street - Angela
"Do not concern yourself with me, I've suffered far worse, a little poison like this is nothing to be concerned about," Angela groaned to Diana, though not quite looking fine. "You are allowing her to escape!"
"Get out of my way insect or I'll UNGHFF!?" was Artume's reaction to Spider-Girl.
As she started pulling the webbing from her face, she took the heroine's punch on her stomach, but Gwen might as well have punched a stone cliff.

Rose, Streets
Rose landed with Gwen, running towards Angela.
Let me take over.
You'll just leave.
You want to help? Fine, I'll help. But you know I'm better at poisons than you are.
Fine.
Rose closed her eyes and sagged, while black spread from the roots of her hair. Before the now-dark-haired teen hit the ground, however, she caught herself, standing up with a different look. "Well, since flower girl would get annoyed if I killed all of you, time to help," she said, approaching Angela. "Hydra poison, you said? And I don't have time for any serious work, so let's start with pain relief. Oi! Spider-Lady! I know that punching things is fun, but I need you to grab something for me!" And as for the evil whatever-she-was, there was a florist right there. Thorn reached out one hand and the flowers, in particular the roses, answered, a wall of thorns growing to cover Artume's escape route. A dangerous glint came into her eyes. "Did I say you could leave?"
There was a price to pay for endangering Rose, after all.

Outside the Hall of Science
Dread pooled in Tabitha's stomach. Dread and embarrassment that this was the second bad guy in less than an hour that she had given superpowers to.
Maybe she'd be better off getting away before she caused any more problems.
But she had to try to fix this.
"Hey, robot!" she shouted at Riri. "Can you hack into that thing's mainframe or whatever it is robots do?"
New York City- Downtown
"There is no point in acting strong, you'll only make it worse by moving around too much," Diana said to her, trying to physically keep her still. Artume getting away was a good point, but abandoning someone else to suffer just to chase after her was much worse in her mind. She looked back at Artume to see her once again being stalled by Spider-Woman. The girl that had tried to stop them all from fighting earlier was back, though her entire demeanor and even her hair color had changed, and Diana was certain that the plant summoning powers were new. Was she also a self proclaimed hero?
"See? She will have to try much harder to escape from us." Wonder Woman looked at Thorn. "Can you really get the poison under control?"
"I'm no child, I handle these matters myself, everything is under control," Angela groaned out.
She spasmed momentarily, pounding her fist into the street and leaving a small crater of shattered asphalt there.
"...mostly under control!"
"Get your facts straight, they are arachnids!"
Gwen's punch carried a little less force than she would have wanted if Artume's non-reaction was anything to go by. She stood there for a bit, like if the attacked was supposed to have a delayed reaction. Nope, it's just that the Amazon was built like a tank. Who would have known?
"...aw shit"
At least the red-haired... the former red-haired girl proved her usefulness by blocking Artume's escape route by making the plants from a nearby flower shop grow to incredible levels. And she had an idea that wasn't just trying to punch the woman.
"I'm all for plans, what do you have in mind?" Gwen said, backing away from Artume and trying to keep her distracted with more webbing.

Hall of Science
"Not a bad idea, bit of a cliche but I digress, in any case I can do you one better, hold on for a second!" Said Riri zipping D1 back to herself. She pulled out a compact toolkit out of her backpack and set the drone in front of her. Then she took her tablet, and began to have it scan for transmissions. I she could identify something coming and going from the bomb chucking robot she could probably at least stop him, however if it were autonomous she would need more direct methods to deal with it.
Meanwhile she had opened D1 and began messing with the innards of the drone, rigging it so it could operate as a one use, directed EMP Device. Wasn't hard to do, she once built one like that out of scrap as a party trick... and was forced to get rid of it for obvious reasons. Once that was set up she went back to the tablet to check on the results of the scan and set up a "detonate" command

Thorn hurrumphed at WW's question. "Watch me," was her cocky response. When Angela threw her temper tantrum, she just harrumphed. "Yeah, right."
Finally, Spider-Woman got here. Thorn took a key from around her neck and handed it out. "Above the florist, there's an apartment. Rose lives there. Get inside and gab the poppy that's on the wooden desk. It's pink. Bring it here," she said, entirely businesslike.

New York City-Downtown
Diana frowned at the newest crater made in the street. “That was the exact opposite of control,” she said to her. After Thorn confirmed that she could help, Diana hesitated and then pulled out her golden lasso again. "Sorry for this Angela, it’s just so you don't hurt yourself or anyone else.” Wonder Woman restrained Angela's arms by pinning them to her torso with the loop and then wrapping it around a few more times for good measure. After tying a knot, she stood up again.
“Just try not to lie before I untie it again.” Satisfied with her solution, Wonder Woman walked back towards Artume. “Don't worry about her, Spider-Woman. I will handle her again.”
Museum
BOOOM!
The robot's blast was identical to the one used again it, but it failed to directly hit anyone.
Then, it stood motionless for a moment-
-and changed.
It was now a greenish version of Captain America- complete with shield!
However, it failed to pay attention to Riri's drone at all.
So when the EMP detonated,
FZZZT
it froze, sparkled, and then fell flat on its face.

"Haha! So much for looking unbeatable!" Celebrated Riri as she stood up and walked outside to see the fruits of her work with her own eyes. She saw little D1 burned out on the ground too and sighed out. Nothing to be mourned, he would rebuild him, better, and more capable! "we won!" she said raising her arms at Tabitha and the Cap.

Outside the Museum
Tabitha was surprised by the apparent newcomer, but based on her reaction to the robot, that was her in.
"Yeah we did!" Tabby cheered and high-fived her.
"Hey, you like cafes? He's buying," she said, jerking a thumb at Captain America.
While the young wannabe heroines celebrated, the 'beekeepers' ran over, picked up the robot, and carried it back to their flying vehicle, which was already preparing for takeoff.

"Hold it people," said Cap, spotting the Evil Beekeepers (TM) out of the corner of his eye. "Too early to celebrate!" He flung his shield at the lot of them, intending to take out enough of them so that they'd drop the mechanical monstrosity altogether. "Tabatha," he said, "think you can take out their aircraft?"

Tabitha grinned and held up a bomb in each hand.
"Obviously."
With precise aim, she threw them into the aircraft.
The shield slammed into one of the minions carrying the robot, causing him to stumble and drop it, though his companion still tried to drag it along.
But then Boom-Boom's plasma balls hit the vehicle and Bwoom! part of it blew up, causing those inside to run out.
But they *still* would not give up, and opened fire with their blasters at the heroes once again.
NYC Street - Angela
"I wouldn't l-" Angela groaned. "I would not - Amazon, what enchantment do you have me under?" She pulled at the lasso around her chest, but it seemed as though a hundred Angelas could have been pulling on it and still not make it budge."If you would like the truth.... The pain is unbearable!" she shouted. "But it has not spread... everywhere." She looked towards Thorn and Gwen, and spat blood on the ground. "That.... that I can work with. Avert your eyes, this will not be pleasant."
With a roar, she shifted her arms and hands underneath the lasso's bindings, twisting her right hand's position suddenly. Poking out slightly from between two of the strands, her hand was now holding onto the bleeding and still slightly-beating heart. If one were to take an educated guess, it was most likely her own.
"Hurry... Midgardian...." she added, falling back down onto the asphalt.

Riri highfived Tabatha shared a smile with her "Yeah coffee sounds- Woa!" she said ducking down and jumping to cover away from the renewed agression of the evil hazmat suit wearing guys. Riri resolved to stay in cover, she was out of drones and in any case sneaking up to them didn't seem possible.

Artume grew angrier. She was a match for Diana in strength, but not in speed.
And now she dared bring that hateful lasso!
"You want the truth? I'll TELL you the truth!" she snapped. "Mother never wanted me. She made out of stone! But you- you, she sculpted out of clay! You are her greatest creation. And then the gods chose you to carry out their mission! Luckily, our grandfather, whom the other gods always rejected, gave me a chance. You won't sway me with words, "sister". There will only be peace when one of us lays dead!"
Suddenly, the words "hydra poison" were heard across the (modern-day) battlefield. Once again, the evil Amazon smiled sinisterly. "Well! It seems your ally has found herself in a problem. You know as well as I that even a demigod cannot tolerate the pain of hydra poisoning for long. So- what to do now? Continue fighting me, or watch her squirm to the point of taking her own life?"
Museum
BOOOM!
The big "bomb" hit the robot square on the head- it didn't even try to dodge.
When the resulting mini-fireworks cleared, it was lying on its back on the ground.
And then it started to get back up.
It was smoking a little but otherwise, it was unscratched!
After fully righting itself, it brought its hands together, in a manner the teenager girl would find familiar.
A ball of light suddenly appeared in-between them, and began to grow!
In another moment, the figure threw an exact duplicate of the plasma bomb that hit it back at the heroes!
