I am good with whatever you prefer.
Oh, on me? I was waiting for the druid. I can whip up a post now. One moment.
Look with century eyes... With our backs to the arch And the wreck of our kind We will stare straight ahead For the rest of our livesMia's trying to pretend to be Mr. Mann so she won't really say much until things go south.
I really ought to invest in her being able to mimic voices....
Okay, so for experience after the first level is it 300note /900 or reset?
Look with century eyes... With our backs to the arch And the wreck of our kind We will stare straight ahead For the rest of our livesYou each have 300 XP and need 600 more for level 3.
Remember XP are split evenly, but only when using Class abilities (including the correct weapon proficiences.) Someone who does not participate gains no XP even if present.
Posted. Sorry for not doing so earlier, but I didn't actually realize we were back on! (And I'd love to continue! :D)
As for an Ankheg, it really depends on how this fight goes and what you want. The party is currently fresh and rearing for a fight- there is almost no doubt we'd be able to either take it down or do serious damage and cause it to flee at our current state. Likewise, the Not-An-Orc is a powerful but not unbeatable foe. Combining both of them at the same time would be an extremely challenging encounter, and if this were regular D&D, almost certainly a deadly one, without the aid of the caravan guards.
5e is designed around having a few encounters per rest, so depending on how this fight goes, we'd stand a better or worse chance of killing the Ankheg if it came after the Orog, but it wouldn't be a deadly or overpowering opponent. In other words, if you want to throw one in, go for it!
TL;DR: Sorry for not posting, an Ankheg on its own would be a tough but manageable fight, and it would also be reasonable if it came after the Orog; them fighting together would do a *lot* of damage to us unless the guards fought alongside us.
Wooze looks at Glass with a 'please take her away' lookNo, it was the Ankheg or the orc not both. But the Orc fits the plot better.
And sorry too from my part. I've been rather slow to post, but I will tonight.
Posted! Finally! And note this time I used Rolz for our, well, rolls. you can see how they went here [1]

Buggers. Haven't even read the update yet, and those rolls...I used up all my luck in the other game.
Uh, Cwest I hope you got a trick waiting.

Look with century eyes... With our backs to the arch And the wreck of our kind We will stare straight ahead For the rest of our livesI was using averages on the other game. This is only a test; if you guys don't like it we can always switch back.
Of course I have a trick! That's life clerics are there for!
Oh, and it wasn't Valakyr that got whacked, Sergey, it was Gabatim. Also ouch.
You've just activated my trap card!
But sadly, no xD If Fyterion or Mialee also get hurt, though, I'd probably have him use his Ao E channel divinity heal. As is, he's focused on keeping the shield spell on Mann up for the moment.

Wooze looks at Glass with a 'please take her away' lookOh, I know I got whacked. Hence, I used up all my luck. But, seeing as you know the rules and the lore so well, I'm still hoping you know pull off a King of Games style reveal of the game winning play with a hammy: "I've planned this moment the whole time!"
Look with century eyes... With our backs to the arch And the wreck of our kind We will stare straight ahead For the rest of our livesI would like to echo that I am happy with having the things get rolled, since that preserves the fun of getting lucky hits or being screwed over by random luck
I'm used to the averages by now, but dice rolling is fine by me!
Also, I'm planning on posting after the Orog goes, as I want to decide between healing or smacking an orc depending on what's needed.
Wooze looks at Glass with a 'please take her away' lookI screwed up some rolls last night (still getting used to Rolz) and had to scrap a post. But will post again tonight.
Question- if we have a Rolz account/nickname, can we sometimes make our own rolls in the Diceroom?
Also, quick tip: you don't need an account to roll, but using your username as a nickname would probably be a good idea in any case.

Wooze looks at Glass with a 'please take her away' lookSure you can make your own rolls. However I can't seem to log in under my name anymore?

Fixed now. Also, if Gabatim wants he may declare that he was "holding his action" and attack before the round is over.
Fair enough—will do actually.
Look with century eyes... With our backs to the arch And the wreck of our kind We will stare straight ahead For the rest of our livesDo you want to roll or should I? Same Rolz game room.
I think you should do the rolls yourself. It would be an unnecessary delay to have us do everything. Like if a monster attacks and we need to do a saving throw you might as well do it cause with time zones and stuff you could have a delay of days if you wanted us to roll something.

What nman said.
