Janemba has a lot of potential as a character, but he's kind of lacking as far as Supers go. He's only got one big move, that "draw a line in the air that shoots out sparkles" thing that all the games give him as a Super, and that move is honestly kind of lame.

I can think of a few things:

• They give him something based on the globs of dark energy/evilness/whatever floating around in his film. When he was big Janemba they were rock solid and could trap people like boulders. When he was little Janemba they exploded with titanic force. Fuse the two.
• Something with his sword.
• Hitler shows up and rolls the opponent over with a tank.
• His teleport works with it, so the HIFL with it: go for the cross-medium reference give him a Shun Goku Satsu.

But my number one suggestion? Fuse the first two ideas. Janemba creates a glob of evil energy and traps the opponent, then does this. Except instead of being interrupted, it works.

I wonder if we'll be getting a Janemba/Gogeta Dramatic finish.

We might or we might not. There were a lot of Dramatic Finishes in the first half of the first DLC season: every character had at least one, and everyone but Vegetto had two.

But after that they petered out. Base Goku and Vegeta had just the one between them, and since then we haven't had any despite the expectation for Jiren at the very least to have one.

Given how much time and effort the Dramatic Finishes probably take to make, I've been figuring that they've since put the idea on the backburner. Either that or they have been working on them, but they're perhaps saving them for something big in the future.

It'd be nice to see one, though, especially if they rendered the Demon Kid.

It sounds like he's taken a few steps back towards how he voiced the character in Xenoverse 2.

We've got like 3 different Goku Black voices, all from Sean.

Base Goku had two. One with Base Vegeta and his Spirit Bomb one with Freeza. But you're right that there haven't been any new Dramatic Finishers since.

I was wondering why regular Kid Goku's Dragon Fist Level 3 didn't show the dragon, but it makes sense if it's left out to make it more like when he defeated King Piccolo.

So um, how would Janemba's teleport work?

Also, should we expect Fat Janemba to show up? A hell stage maybe?

I imagine his teleports would work like a Mortal Kombat character.

My guess is Fat Janemba will show up in the intro as Janemba transforms into his final form.

By the way, I'm starting to get worried that New Broly will be playable in Super Saiyan Green form, instead of his Rage Mode. The latter was shown in the announcement, but the former has been shown in all the trailers since, and I don't want there to be too much overlap with OG Broly.

We probably won't have hell & Janempa probably won't be in the other than the slim chances of transform as Janemba in the intro. I seriously doubt that'll be the case.

You know this a game where damn near everyone's super is a beam or a ball of energy, right? I'm sure Janemba is going to have a mouth beam just to be a tad different.

As hyped as I am for Janemba, I'm afraid of Mr. Xbox Man getting the incorrect script and the final DLC character is some shite like Bio Broly or one of Mr. Satan's students.

I kind of hope they just show and release Janemba, Canon Broly and Gogeta at once at this point. Like, this season has been going since January and we’ve technically only had 2 releases (since Videl and Jiren dropped at once).

That's where EVO comes in, I'd imagine.

By the way, if anyone doesn't have the game it's free to play over the weekend on Steam.

We're still due for the inevitable Arcsys style paid patch updated semi/story sequel, so maybe the lack of info for so long was to save announcements for lots of stuff altogether.

I was thinking they'd wait until all the Season 2 dlc was out for that, but who knows.
