"Would kill for that kind of tech to play with." Herb hummed after LT left. "Metaphorically, of course."

"The hell?" Mike looked around with sudden awareness, as if his eyes and ears were finally paying attention to his surroundings, further amplified by the extra pairs of eyes and ears manifesting around his head to cover the general directions. "What is going on over there?"

LAKE

Laz walked over to Wrath's daughter, what was her name? Nell? (Neil) "Hey, I'm sorry. I have to ask, have we met before? You seem extremely familiar." He said, walking beside her.

Neil put a hand on his hip as he looked Laz up and down. "Well we're in the same class if that's what you were thinking of. Think I was top score in the introduction thing? Yeah that sounds about right."

LAKE

Laz paused. "What's your name again? I don't even remember what I got?" He asked, obviously checking her ass out.

Neil noticed Laz's gaze a bit and rolled his eyes. "Well, first, you're certainly not gonna find my name written on my ass. Second of all, my name is Neil. Hero name Nightwire."

Laz made a somewhat strange hand movement as he attempted to brush off the accurate comment. "Well, I...Uh...I can't-" He shook his head. "Sorry, I'm from..." He raised his hands. "Sorry, that was my bad. I'm Lazarus, I'm also Eon. Sorry ma'am."

"Well its nice to meet you Lazarus, ass ogling asi-" Neil blinked a bit at the word ma'am. Oh. Ooooooooooooooh. Oh this is gonna be interesting. Or bad. Or interesting AND bad. Or interestingly bad?

"Um... Did you just call me ma'am?"

LAKE

Laz nodded, "Yes. Sorry, Senorita, I'm sorry I stared at your ass...It's a cu-" He stopped himself and looked at her-in the eyes. "Sorry Neil, but can I ask why you kicked me?"

Neil made a face of deep and thorough contemplation, as if he was inquiring as to the many wonders of the universe, and coming up short of answers. "So uh... Putting that question aside for the moment... I'm a guy. Just... Thought I'd point this out before we get any farther. I guess I shouldn't have assumed since... Well I am pretty damn cute for a guy so..."

LAKE

Laz frowned, looked down at the bulge in his pants, then up at Neil. "You've got a penis." He said blankly before tripping over a sleeping Danny and land flat on his face. He got up, looking at Neil. "I know our society's probably past this, but I am so sexually confused by you right now. I mean, you're hot but...well, you were hot but I-Why are you in a dress?" He was unaware that he was digging himself a major hole with every word.

Lakeside

Rudely awakened by being tripped over, Daniel took a moment to gingerly place a hand on one of his pistols before briefly listening in on the conversation at hand. After digesting what he'd heard for a moment before removing his hand from his gun and speaking up "Look, uh, I can move if you two need some private time"

Lake

"Last I checked, yes." Neil sad rolling his eyes. "I wear a dress because I feel like it. Isn't that enough? I wore whatever I could while homeless, and now I wear whatever I want because I can."

LAKE

"Yeah, yeah, that's fine." Laz said, before turning to the man. "Hey Punisher." He looked at Neil. "What's your power again?" He asked the thief.

Lake

Neil shrugged, before lashing out with his right hand off in an open direction, the wires of energy whipping out from his fingertips. He latched them to the ground, and then pulled them taut, before they disappeared in the sunlight.

"That. My "weakness" per say is bright light. When there is less light, I can make the wires stronger, last longer, sharper, or even make them explode."

LAKE

"Well, that sounds like a supervillain power. I like it." Laz told Neil. "Though, when you say sharper...Can you kill someone with that stuff?" He asked. his suit didn't do shit against sharp things and finding a power like this that made it easy to counter? He didn't like that at all.

Soma just stared for a moment, then had to suppress a chuckle as King arrived and started acting like an uncle greeting his favorite niece. Compared to the drill instructor routine this morning it was almost silly, but it was nice to see the intimidating man had a soft side too.

Lake

"Never tried to." Neil said in response to the killing question. "Never needed to, never really wanted to. And besides, I don't exactly have complete control over that part. As long as I've lived and have utilized this power, I have yet to actually completely master it."

LAKE

"That's probably just me." Laz murmured shaking his head. "Sorry...So, uh...What's your backstory?" He asked, desperate to try to get the conversation in a non-bizarre direction.
