You mean parking Brave Edelgard in the middle of a story map isn't the pinnacle of tactical genius?

Not if the enemy has an anti-armor weapon, which is why I went for Brave Dimitri instead to clear Legendary Hinoka's maps (with some bonus support from Ash, Laegjarn and Brave Tiki I guess).

As for her banner, I just summoned once, got a 3* Fae, and called it a day. I still gotta save for the next time Brave Tiki returns or some good fodder comes out.

Brave Edelgard's massive in-combat -Atk and DR% does make it so she can normally get away with it. Deadeye negating the DR% is the deal breaker.

That said, there are totally three more steps to achieve true mastery:

• Give Edelgard Near/Far Save
• Give another armour the Save that Edelgard didn't get
• Bait with Fallen Maria and place both armours in range to cover her

Complete strategic genius.

I do have Fallen Maria. Time to build her up to support our glorious Emperor of Fodlan.

Just realized Groom Rafiel was back on focus and unashamedly spent some money to finally put his +10 to bed. 56 base Res on a physical melee unit is something.

My only gripe at the minute is that I almost have all the skills he'd want, with the sole exception of Atk/Res Finish 4 because we still don't have Finish 3 bridge for it. I can't mulch my only remaining Rearmed Ophelia for this until I know he's getting Special Spiral 4 and Time's Pulse 4 from her too...

Does anyone have recommendations for F 2 P Astra/Anima season? These past few weeks I've been doing notably worse on Astra/Anima than on Light/Dark and I'm not sure how to go about fixing them. For reference my Astra/Anima Mythics are Reginn, Altina, Plumeria, Seidr, Thrasir, Arval, and Fomortiis.

Altina is a monster defensively, if you have enough stuff to refine her weapon and give her dragonflowers, is a good idea. Thrasir's mere presence can make enemies take more damage, so just having her on the field is good.

A lot of team comps are going very hard on raw bulk these days because they can just run Save tanks with nukers hiding behind them, since no ARO team can run Undefended without giving up points before the match starts. Altina also can't pick up Mythic bulk bonuses of her own, so she's unlikely to do well (especially if the defending team is fielding Thrasir). Vantage, outside of Fallen Byleth, is basically a super dead strategy (and this makes me sad, because it used to be my main strategy way back in the day). And even then, there's enough uncounterable shit floating around that she's still niche.

I don't think there are a ton of F2P options, as far as getting more out of it if you hard invest resources compared to just fielding a +0 or +1 premium Save tank. What do you have in your box for modern Save tanks? Alternatively, you could try to build a Galeforce team, but those are really finicky, often very expensive, and Fomo is right there in Astra/Anima to screw everything up.

I came back to Heroes from Engage, so I don't know how many "modern" Savior units I have but the full list is CYL!Edelgard (neutral), L!Tiki (+Def +6), Fomortiis (neutral +2), Gilliam (+HP/-Def), V!Lucina (neutral) and Anankos (+Atk/-Spd), and W!Black Knight (+HP/-Atk). I use already use Fomortiis and Lucina in my Anima defense team and Black Knight and Edelgard for the Dark defense.

Brave Edelgard's refine makes her really strong, so it may be worth temporarily swapping blessings if you feel she'd help her win in Astra. Anankos is also really strong (and very modern). Xmas Black Knight should still also be reasonably good if you wanted to consider the temporary blessing swap there as well. L!Tiki's remix/refine also helped her a lot, but she's obviously restricted to when Earth lines up with Astra.

The refines come out today yeah? I've been waiting for them for a while 'cause I use Brunnya a lot when the game needs me to use FE 6 units.

That, and apparently people are kinda panicking online because of some FEH Channel which was meant to come out already but still hasn't...? Like, a trailer IS gonna come out soon because of the mandatory summer banner, but I dunno about FEH channel at all (like, at least before the official story midpoint adds New Heroes halfway through the month).

Yeah I guess people are just expecting a Feh Channel because it's around the middle of the book? I don't know if there's been any actual hint of one coming though.

No Feh Channel, have the sand patient instead.

New Heroes already? I expected the summer banner to come out first but whatevs.

Also Heird not only has a special skill called Gold Serpent, but also shares VAs with Gullveig in both languages so either the foreshadowing's not being subtle or that's a big Red Herring. And I'm wondering it 'cause the story dialogue is heavily hinting Heird's probably dying soon and that is somehow gonna help Gullveig's time-loop to keep going?????.

Oh and Kvasir's there too and she's red cavalry.
