The little birds you can bring down with your small arms without too much trouble. The proper gunships less so.

Problem is when your out in the boonies on foot you tend to run out of room to run and ammo pretty fast when you have shot down your 3rd or 4th chopper.

Makes me wish they had an evasion mechanic like they do in Just Cause 3. If you can kill the enemy before they radio you stop reinforcements and if you kill all of them in the area without them calling in the alert is canceled. The alternative is that if you run away fast enough and can lose them they break off pursuit as well.

I did notice the story elements for how the cartel members arrive where they are. Mostly from the Yuri and Polito intel briefing describing how they became the official medicos and torturers for the cartel.

I think I figured out how I am going to play this. I am going to spend offline time collecting equipment and leveling up but join other players for missions.

I am going to be derping around with garcon, and using him as a meatsheild and leaving him to die in the absolute worst places.

I'm still not over how to just fucking left me in that helicopter. You're lucky it fell into a river

I am seriously tempted to buy a standard PS 4 copy just to derp around with you guys.

That and so I can be left to die in the worst places possible as well.

Honestly thats the reason I got the PS 4 version instead of PC is I figured the game wont have modding and this way I can derp around with gar.

I need find more games to derp around with people on PS 4 with.

Never was a console type. Can't stand the controls next to a keyboard and mouse.

The concept of a coop MGS 5 appeals to me greatly. Hope Ubisoft doesn't fuck this one up.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how on your ass is Unidad? I heard there are helicopter patrols that hunt for you, which sounds sick.

Depends on how much you piss them off and presumably the region.

I've always liked the concept of an AI that constantly hunts the player. Make the gameplay more dynamic.

Don Winslow and Shane Salerno are helping with the narrative writing. The former wrote The Cartel, The Power of the Dog and Savages, while the latter did the screenplays for The Cartel, Savages and Armageddon.

Well, hopefully we can avert something like Call of Juarez: The Cartel happening again.

In less reassuring news, the guy who wrote the screenplays for Transformers, the Star Trek reboot and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is producing the War Within The Cartel short.

I loaded up the open beta on my PS 4 to see if I like it any better on that platform.

A World Without Heroes, some sort of interactive Web minigame with rewards in the full game in the form of emblems and an XP booster for the full game. Not as sleep-sapping as The Division's Collapse, but eh, free stuff for minimal (had to use a VPN for it) effort.

Krieger: Despite being in the US I am locked out by region.

And that is why. United States and Canada do not get it.

It works just fine for me, though maybe its because my U-Play account is Japanese.

Edit: Proof◊, U-Play locks your account to the region of creation, not your active IP.

Yep. Mine says United States which is not on the list for countries that get it.
