I'm really excited about this upcoming sci-fi comic project, Cayrel's Ring. Its written by Shannon Lentz (who I don't think has done comic work before) but the group of artists assembled for it is fantastic.
They've got the super talented Brandon Graham, Simon Roy, Farel Dalrymple, and Grim Wilkins from Image Comics's recently-ended series Prophet on board.
Plus Alchemichael, Aaron Conley, webcomic artist Aaron Petovello, colorist Cassie Kelly, and an amazing russian newcomer Filya Bratukhin.
