Yes, once I'm done with the Warglaives I'm going to pick up a Gallant to paint as 02 and a Crusader to paint as 00. I have ideas for Helverins and possibly a Valiant later on, as well.

Cool. Thinking about it the Helglaives could have been good painted as the Mass Production Evas, although that would probably be more appropriate for a Traitor Knight force.
Another Orc(k)tober model: An Orc Archer from the original version of Warhammer Quest. I do like how he turned out.
Nice work! Are you going to put strings on the bow?
Thanks. I have thought about putting strings on the bows of models from this era in the past (I believe the moulding technology wasn't good enough to do so at the time) but I also like to have them as provided so to speak so have always been in two minds about it.
My Warglaives are done. Working on assembling a Knight Gallant to paint as Unit-02...I used Unit-01's original color scheme for the first Knight, but I may end up going with Unit-02's Rebuild scheme as it's more colorful.
Those Warglaives look sweet. I look forward to the 02 Gallant.
Here are a couple more Orks for Orktober: Two models 20 years apart. I have improved a little.
Thanks for the
Something a little lowkey for my last Orc(k)tober post, a classic plastic Blood Bowl Blitzer that I painted recently. Not a radical change but still an improvement.
Subtle but noticeable. I like that you rebased him, too.
Thanks. The new base is one of the official Blood Bowl ones with the hole for the ball (you can't see it from that angle though). Ironically it actually fits the model better than the old base it was supplied with back in the day.
Here is weird extra little thing I converted years ago and thought I would paint for Halloween when I found it the other day.
Heh...with silver legs it could be some kind of weird servitor or cherub equivalent.
Hmmm. I hadn't thought of that but I am having ideas now.
Something a bit different. I recently painted the Saruman miniature that I have had for years. He turned out far better than I thought he would and I am looking to start an army of Isengard for the Middle-Earth game if I get the time and money.
Nice work, the shading is just enough to make the folds of his robe and cloak stand out well.
Thanks.
Something a bit special I painted recently: The Games Day 2006 Event exclusive Warhammer Dwarf Daemon Slayer.
I am very happy with how he turned out, especially the daemon head and his trousers. His eyes may be a bit iffy though.
Looks great! At tabletop distance I don't think the eyes will be an issue.
Thanks.
Here is a test model for my planned Obsidian Rose Drukhari army. It is slightly different to the official scheme but I do like how he turned out.
I like your take better...and I wish my edging was that clean.
I finally got around to priming my Knight Gallant...gonna try to squeeze in as much painting as I can around the holiday.
I'm working on my Helglaives...patterning their colors roughly after Misato Katsuragi◊'s work outfit.
Thanks. The colours for the Hellgaives sound interesting. Are you planning on doing something with Unit 00 & 02's colours as well?
