The boys are finally back to adventurin'. I'm glad Taako ran out of craps to give and started derailing things, I don't think they could take many more rounds in wonderland. That last scene was super tense.
I wonder if the fourth presence Lydia and Edward sensed was actually thieves cant guy, and they just assumed it was Cam in the pocket dimension. Or maybe not and he's totally undetectable. Who knows.
I also enjoyed the return of the flophouse gang. I feel they've really come into their characters in this second adventure.
Things haven't quite popped off yet, but it's getting really close. Just in time too, those sacrifices have finally gotten to the point where some of them are unacceptable losses. Not to say the ones they took haven't been pretty heavy. As for the challenge, gotta say, I got super hyped when I heard the words "BOSS RUSH".

What a good good episode. That battle! That ending! I'm very proud of these boys. And it looks like the arc has hit the endgame.
Hi.
There are a lot of cool fanarts and such that I happen to see. It was in fact some of those fanworks that got me to check out... THE ADVENTURE ZONE.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThere are some good fanworks in this fandom. I like how making animations for scenes seems to be a big thing.
Also some fanarts. (for the last episode mostly)
No lie, Taakosaurus Rex made my day, week, month and year
I'll always love this one.
And this one by the same artist.
And I think the reason animatics are popular is because well you already have the audio.
A lot of good pics of the Magnus rescue.
Like this one
What it looked like on the material plane
Bye
Aw dip
This artist does a lot of TAZ stuff which got me interested in the podcast
Various doodles about the episode

Spoiler video!

Reeeeally interesting theory about things brought up in the latest episode. I'm convinced. Keetz not being mentioned as a twitter user in the episode is the smoking gun as far as I'm concerned.

And more of the rescue Magnus pictures. It was a very popular topic.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersGame Over. A lot of cool stuff happened this episode. I'm very excited to see the endgame pop off. I was losing my shit right there with Clint at the end.
I sort of jokingly speculated to myself that the Redrobe would be Barry but I was blown away when yeah exactly.
If all three of Tres Horny Boys are Redrobes then that explains how Kravitz has them dying multiple times.
Hoooooly shit what a wham episode.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI really want to give props to the Wonderland themes. Every time one of these came on I was simultaneous excited for something dope to happen and terrified of something horrible happening.
Stuff from the new episode.
I... completely forgot about this.

Here There be Gerblins. Funny story, when I first listened to it I misread it as "Here there be Gerbils". So when they got to Klarg I thought "Oh! I see. He's all furry and fuzzy because he's a Bugbear. This is where they're going to make the Gerbil joke. But then it never happened and I realized my mistake.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersHey there, care to make this two person forum 3 people? XD
GOD I love this podcast??? So Much??? Came for Taako, stayed for Magnus, holy shit I've got Magnus feels for days.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.BARRY BLUE JEANS
GIVE ME YOUR FACEBARRY FUCKING BLUEJEANS I WILL NEVER BE OVER THAT. EVER. IN MY ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE. oh my god. its so insane. its so brilliantly insane.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I found this great post about what you-know-who means to the campaign. Huge spoilers obviously. As as a followup, the exact moment.
That is a good post, and it's so neat going all the way back to that moment.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Oda! Good to see you
Forever liveblogging the AvengersGood to see you too! Its been too long. How're things in the MSPA thread? I ask because I have no interest in checking myself.
And on topic, who's everyone's favorite tres horny boy? I think I recently converted to Magnus
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Mostly talking about things that are not Homestuck
And I veer between Magnus and Taako depending on the episode.
Forever liveblogging the Avengerspoor Merle, he tries so hard. And he did a lot of cool shit this arc too... The Planar ally, the cutting the legs out from the monster factory fight, sacrificing his eye and half his health without thought, flat refusing to sacrifice the memory of his kid's births, dealing with Pan being gone... but no matter what he gets overshadowed!
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.MSPA thread doesn't have a lot of activity nowadays, though sometimes people chat about stuff they've been watching recently.
As much as I laugh when the players give Merle grief over healing duties "Hmm, are we sure Magnus doesn't have an allergic reaction to heal magic?" I never got the impression he was bad about that until they brought it up. I think all three of them get to do a lot of cool things. Divine Word -> Divine Wood was super clever.
It really was
I have to wonder how Griffin expected them to get out of that situation though.
And I think the thing about Merle is that he's a good comic foil for the two others so stands out less on his own.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI do wonder about the "intended" progression of adventures sometimes. It was funny in The Eleventh Hour when Griffin said "okay you are doing this wildly out of order now" and everyone went "you literally had an npc tell us to go here!". The unused Wizard's Duel song on the Soundtrack also gets me really curious. Ren vs Taako?
The Adventure Zone is a comedy Dungeons and Dragons podcast run by brothers Justin, Travis and Griffin McElroy, and their dad Clint. Griffin is the Dungeon Master while Justin plays Taako the Elf Wizard, Travis plays Magnus the Human Fighter, and Clint plays Merle the Dwarven Cleric. It starts out with them just going by the book and seeing what happens, but Griffin soon starts putting together an original storyline that has the boys deal with moon bases, murder mysteries, car races, and much more as they hunt down deadly artifacts to save the world. I find the show genuinely hilarious, I love their dynamic, and things can get really badass or emotional at times.
Currently we're in The Suffering Game arc. Everything is terrible! Not only that, but the next episode will take a while since there's going to be a bonus episode for the next release. Still though, the bonus episodes so far have been a delight, and this gives you plenty of time to catch up!
Also the later arcs have Music! It's some good stuff! (spoilery though)
And there's a comic coming out? I can't wait!
