Looks like we have more drama on the way, going by the spoilers.
It's time to put in motion the gears that will break this red herring relationship.
It seems we're building to the next climax.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Chika attempts to remind us that she still has redeeming qualities.
Hayasaca leaving and potentially BETRAYING Kaguya. Osaragi spilling Ishigami's secret file to Tsubame. Miko either being devastated about Ishigami's treatment in said file, or heartbroken at his success in courting Tsubame.
Oh, and Kashiwagi is probably pregnant.
Ow...my heart...
Someone please give Hayasaka a break, she doesn't deserve this
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Ok, this was a masterful show of storytelling.
A slow, detailed and painful depiction of everything that happens in Hayasaka's day (which is A LOT), and in th end we get the reveal that she has been spying all along, and feeling like crap for it.
Really puts into perspective how Kaguya's love drama in the manga so far has been petty. Hayasaka doesn't just have to play therapist to her, she has to work to death every single day, and after all of it she needs to deal with a girl who has poor self-awareness.
Justice for Hayasaka
(And it's (mostly) not even Kaguya's fault, because Kaguya also has a ridiculously busy day. Her whole life has to be run like a company, and Hayasaka is the director of operations. This family is just broken.)

Damn.
That was a really, really damn good chapter. I agree, someone give Hayasaka a break.
Also, props for her. She's doing the most noble thing she could possibly do in this situation, and it's probably as hard to do as the last ten years have been for her.
Aka is really good at letting us get complacent then bam, curveball. And to think everyone figured the big drama this arc would be the Ishibowl.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Fujiwara Chika, too evil for her own good.
Serious conversations are impossible.
She seriously undermines her own character.
Oh hey, looks like Prez has friends outside of Ishigami after all.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.He always has, they're just bit characters. I like how Kaguya is dealing with Hayasaka's situation, a lot more mature than I'd expect.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I mean, she's obviously masking how upset the whole thing makes her.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm kinda disappointed that Hayasaka's thing with the gyarus seems genuinely fake.
Secret Signature"Is this failure of a romcom going to redeem itself and finally deliver a lewd chapter?!"
No.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Maybe there is something to how the best currently-running manga romcom by far also has almost zero fanservice.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%."Next up, fanservice".
Love the self-awareness.
FANSERVICE
I'm always baffled when manga talk about stuff like sexy wet hair, flushed skin and the nape of someone's neck. Actually I don't really get a lot of what people find sexy, which I suppose shouldn't be much of a surprise.
The Japanese may try to hide it, but they are some of the weirdest perverts in the world.
Either way, this chapter was great stuff, and it barely had plot in it.
Obvious antagonist is obvious
And this fanservice is pretty tame by comparison
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. That was adorable, honestly. A little respite before the massive upcoming drama. I like Prez and Hayasaka's friendship, I hope this turns out well.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Kaguya being salty as fuck is hilarious.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Man Shinomiya males look evil as hell.
Secret SignatureThe males? Have you seen Kaguya◊?
It's not her fault that she was raised to be a babysitter to an emotionally stunted child.
