Gran: Well, there's no gettin' around it. Our Princess has been kidnapped by adventurers.

Not you, obviously, otherwise you'd get a tanning, I mean other ones.

Oliver: Do you know anything about who kidnapped her?

Lisa: Yeah, don't forget about me.

Mindy: @Roy: Nice to meetcha!

@Gran: Well thank ya ma'am! I reckon a nice home cooked meal is just what I need right now.

Roy: @Mindy "Same, love that hat by the way."

@Gran "Any idea why they do that?"

Gran: It's not like I met th' basterds in person, you know. I just know from Ed that they was your normal adventurers, greedy buncha murderhobo punks who smash'n grab all your belongings before running. They were lucky enough to not stick any of me grankids before I reached 'em. Just smashed and grabbed Princess before hoofin' it. Still, can't let them just go and get away with it, can we? I'd go, but my back won't quite let me...

Oliver: Any idea where they got off to?

Gran: Down the old road. If I know those greedy sons'a dragon dung, they're probably legging it to th' nearest city. Adventurers flock in those parts, you know.

Oliver: Okay, good. If we move fast enough we might be able to catch them before they get there.

Gran: Sounds like you'll be wantin' yer dinner to go then, sonny?

-As the old goblin grandmother is speaking, she's filling bowls with something that should probably resemble stew...but probably should not be bubbling the way it is-

???:-whoever is outside, if you look up you might notice something very red, and on fire and apprroaching very quickly-

-there is also might be someone screaming something but its a little far away-

Oliver: Yeah... I think hold on a second.

-Oliver sighs, gets up, goes outside, and queries his Devotion as to the amount of ammunition remaining in its current magazine (it's full)-

-well Oliver, I hope you brought alot because whatever this is, as it gets closer, you note its Very Large-

Oliver: ...

[Uh, guys, y'all might wanna come outside.]

-For now, the little robot that can't stands there and observes-

-Oliver quick roll a Dex Save-

-Oliver Stims and moves to get the fuck out of the way-

-The +6 that grants his Dex save is not enough to save him from a roll of 2, however-

-Oliver, you get beaned by a peice of stray metal that thankfully wasn't sharp but it hit you hard enough to push you off your feat-

-which is a good thing because something the size of space shuttle has hit the ground and slid across it mere feet away from you-

-Oliver skids into the ground as a pile of robot-

-A few seconds later, the Stim wears off, and he just kinda lies there in a heap for a few moments before picking himself up-

-The old woman goblin, and several other green goblins, come out from the sound now that it's caused a loud enough crash-

Gran: Good lord, what is it now?

-outside, now lying on its side is this thing-

-it is missing an arm and the cape is very tattered, it looks generally beat the hell up-

-Mindy heads outside-

Mindy: Boy howdy, is that a mecha?

-Several of the goblin children are poking the severely damaged mech with sticks as Gran works her way to it-

Oliver: ...huh. A giant robot.

How about that.

-Oliver immediately heads towards the head to see if anyone's driving it-

-well its a good thing Oliver went to the head cuz the hatch on the chest comes flying off-

-and outcomes an old friend◊, kind of-

-she is not nearly as cean as the picture, she's got several burn marks and oil smudges on her and her clothes are somehow less dencent than usual-

-she just hangs out of the cockpit and groans for a moment then suddenly shoots up, gasping, resulting in her hitting her head on the hatch opening and flinching-

Fen:Ow....not what I needed right now...

Oliver: Where'd you find the giant robot?

Fen:-looks at Oliver,and squints cuz the fucking sun, there is the faint smell of alcohol in the cockpit if anyone has Olfactory senses here-

Oh...its you.
