I guess, though I was focusing on potions because I didn't want to waste heart restoring foods.
That's kinda why I want to switch. If I want a health restore and a defence buff, I'd eat some food, but if I only want one, I'd have potions.
I do have a few endura Carrots though, so I guess I should use more of those.
One Strip! One Strip! No, you make it as regular food. So long as you don't try to mix effects (attack + defense, hearty + stamina), you'll get food that gives you a bonus just like an elixir. You CAN mix in non-bonus foods, like Raw Meat or Hylian Shrooms.
One thing: don't mix Stamina foods (Staminoka Bass, Stamella Shrooms) with Endura foods (Endura Shrooms, Endura Carrots). Even though they're both related to stamina, they'll cancel each other out
If you add a dragon part, a dish with a timed effect (like Attack Up) will last longer.
Oh.
So you can add Dragon parts to dishes huh? I guess they're higher quality than the regular monster parts.
Ok, that gives me even more reasons to start farming dragons.
One Strip! One Strip! The Akkala labyrinth basement room is always there, but with DLC, it's where you find the "warp anywhere" medallion.
I'd hoard dragon parts for armor upgrades rather than eat them, personally.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I can do both if I gather up enough.
One Strip! One Strip!I usually do, too. But when I did the Trials of the Sword, I ate a 30-minute Defense Up meal before starting each Trial.
Heh. I understand those things are tough, so that's a good idea.
One Strip! One Strip!Holy crap...guess I never found the basement for the Akkala maze! Guess I better go back and figure out a way to get into it! Suddenly the old becomes new again!
It actually is possible to include food items as potion ingredients, so long as they confer the same effect as the non-monster component(s). They just result in potions that also provide a few hearts' worth of restoration as well.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Right. I actually have done that.
I think you can't use too many though right?
One Strip! One Strip! There just has to be at least one monster part and one regular potion ingredient. When you have those, the rest can be food items (again, so long as they grant the same effect as the regular potion ingredient), or any permutation of the other types.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Regarding dragon parts and potions, note that the dragon parts do not count as monster parts so you need to include a monster part as well to avoid getting dubious food as a result, leaving only three "slots" in any given potion for the effect source.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpRandom question: Bought the Desert Voe Armor and am working on upgrading it.
Ran out of Ice Keese Wings for level three and returned to the Hebra. Do they only come out at night there, or can I find them anywhere in that icy region?
One Strip! One Strip! All Keese are nocturnal.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Crap. Guess I'm doing some night hunting.
One Strip! One Strip!I feel your pain. I've spent too much time hunting ice keese.
There's a cave west of Hateno Village that has three ice keese in it. Since they sleep on the ceiling, they're there regardless of day or night.
I found it was easier to hunt for Ice Keese on Mt. Lanaryu - maybe because I got lost there a few more times than I care to admit, I ended up fighting a lot of Ice Keese there.
That said... are Keese like Chus in that killing them with an elemental weapon causes elementally-aligned parts to appear? Because if so, that would make things way easier.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Nope. Hunt around Mt Hebra. They flourish there.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youRight. Got 7 left.
Where's this cave near Hateno. A cave will have a good amount of them?
...Talking about Ice Keese just to be clear.
One Strip! One Strip! On the subject of Keese after diddling around Hyrule for a bit, do the elemental bats bother with the big swarms that plague the central plains at night?
I haven't seen any, but that may just be not looking the right way.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI've never seen a swarm of elemental Keese, if that's what you're asking.
Rob: It's a little cave with only three Ice Keese. It's south of Hateno's Sheikah Tower, in Marblod Plain, under Meda Mountain. You can find it on the map as a tiny pool of water near some trees.
Me neither. And as you said, even the regular kind only swarm in Central Hyrule.
Can't mix potion and food ingredients, no, but endurance-boosting foods are good.
