The closest thing I can think of is the Tabletop web video series with Wil Wheaton. They cover card games quite often, and honestly I tend to be leery about buying a game if I haven't seen him cover it yet (or played it with a friend).

I mean, if you're just looking to play some of the classics (cribbage, poker, rummy, canasta, bridge, etc.), you can always go somewhere like Pogo.
