The Miss Tairee copy standing there narrowed her eyes a little with a glance at the demon cat, then she let out a sigh through her nose and rolled her eyes. "Well, there's a whole crowd of people over there you could ask instead of going outside; one of them might have something to eat. Failing that, surely at least one of them would be willing to brave the dangers outside on behalf of a little girl" the Miss Tairee copy said, tapping a few buttons on the holographic screen. "However, even that is unnecessary here, as I can simply make food. All I'd need to know is what you want" the duplicate librarian added, keeping her eyes on the holographic screen in an almost exasperated expression.

"Quit lecturing me!" Rex snapped and tried to punch 'Six' in the face on the face. Unfortunately his build broke on impact, barely managing to make Six take a few steps back.

"I don't know why I even bother. It's obvious you are not cut for this line of work"

The ninja took one of his swords but before he could strike, Rex managed to grab the hilt and avoid getting cut. He had seen that move too many times.

"I do all the work every single time and I all get are complaints over the radio! It's not fair, I always try to do my best"

Meanwhile, the spartan decided to try her hand at finding a weapon big enough to kill Rex while he was distracted fighting. Luckily the cannon she chose was precisely built so it wouldn't be able to attack and she resorted to using her gun to put some pressure on Rex. He built his shield to not get shot at. She was so predictable.

"I designed those myself" Rex claimed, before getting punched in the face for the umpteenth time this day. He composed himself and dodged a second punch, all the while still keeping his shield up. "Ok so I followed the blueprints, same difference"

"Your 'best' is disappointing. Every single one of those times, I'm tasked with fixing your mess. You are so deluded you think you are special, everyone but you is doing their jobs. And I'm honestly tired of carrying dead weight"

Outside the Library/ Aboard the Thunder Child

As soon as the hookshot connected, Makoto set it to bring her up to the ship. When she was a far enough distance from Anat, it disappeared. She grabbed the side of the boat and pulled herself onto the deck, taking a second to retrieve her new tool. She drew her revolver and emptied the whole cylinder on Six without hesitation, Anat reforming behind her.

"I'm getting really sick of this clone mess, so let's skip the personal insults and go straight to when we beat you," she said, glaring at the agent. Anat swapped to motorcycle form and accelerated at the spartan attacking Rex's shield, aiming to ram her off the side of the ship.

It looked Herc and Thomas had Gwen on the ropes and by this point she was getting rather desperate, she then raised her hands to try and finish the wizard off but once Tom cast Stupefy on her because she was so weak now she fell to the ground unconscious. Hercules finally had his chance to finish her off he then backed up a little bit away from Gwen before leaping up into the air towards her, accelerating rapidly he then raised his fists up and then when he finally landed where the clone was, he would then slam them so hard into her chest.

Gwen was in no condition to resist, and the sheer force from Hercules' attack was enough to cave in her unconscious body. Gwen winced in pain, then slumped onto the ground and stopped moving. Gwen's clone was dead.

Cannonbolt yelled in agony as the Minior shot him with another psychic attack. The battle, and the bad poison he was afflicted with, was starting to take its toll on the alien hero. Cannonbolt landed, realizing if he didn't do something, he would die.

He looked around at the others in the fight. Thomas was in bad shape, and Louie was in a similar bad way.

Cannonbolt curled up in a ball and rolled towards the unconscious wizard, stopping for a moment to scoop him up as gently as he could before curling him safely into his body and rolling towards the Pokemon Trainer.

He stopped to unfurl, still holding Thomas, and took hold of Louie.

"We're getting to the library!" Cannonbolt exclaimed, somewhat weakly. He coughed for a bit, then looked back up, this time at Hercules. "Hercules, you take care of these... losers for now! I'm getting... Miss Tairee's healing help!" Cannonbolt told the Greek hero. Cannonbolt then curled up and rolled towards the library while holding Thomas and Louie.

Once he got there, he would pull the two in as delicately as possible, starting to lose strength as his life force was drained by the toxin within his body.

"Miss Tairee!" he shouted, then coughed loudly and viscerally as he exerted himself. "We need... healing! Help!"

The spartan looked over at Makoto arriving and Anat forming into a self driving motorcycle aiming to ram her; the soldier hopped from the seat of the gun up onto the barrel, then jumped off from that while using her jetpack to easily let Anat pass right under her. Reaching up, the spartan grabbed onto the lowest spar of the forward mast, and hoisted herself onto it, though from the creaking sound, it wasn't meant to hold the weight of her armor. Feeling no need for pleasantries, the spartan simply started shooting at Makoto instead, aiming to empty the rest of her rifle's magazine, still in three round bursts.

Meanwhile down below, Thomas obviously made no objection to being scooped up, but Louie gave a yelp as it took him by surprise; however, seeing that his clothes were kind of on fire, he didn't put up any real objection as Ben took him along.

The minior and tentacruel seemed to consider pursuit, but looked to the rest of the battlefield instead. With a gurgle, the tentacruel fired another hydro pump attack at Hercules, while the minior zipped over to where Lil' Sunny was still struggling with her confusion; a quick shot of psychic, and the roserade was knocked out.

The crowd of people watching quickly parted, some nearly tripping over their own feet to get out of Ben's way as he came in through the revolving door. The Miss Tairee copy with the healing device didn't even move out from the central desks; she just fired the beam across half the length of the lobby to the three boys, almost fifty meters away.

Thomas started to groan, though it cut off as his mind realized he actually wasn't in any pain, and he sat up, almost confused. Louie sighed in relief.

... Then Louie gasped and turned back to the windows and door to look out. "Wait! Lil' Sunny! NO!" Louie yelled, whacking the bottom of his fist against the glass and lowering his head.

"... Well, thank you Ben" Thomas muttered simply, glancing away. "Back to it then" the young wizard thought aloud, heading back out the door before holding up his wand and shouting, "accio broom!" Over near Hercules, the broom shuddered, then lifted off the ground and started flying over towards the library door.

Gon, making a tactical retreat...

Gon found that the Mo-gyeong he knocked out wore jeans and rubber shoes. This was a contrast to the woman who just wore a white dress shirt, knee length skirt and black high heels.

The assassin saw that a belt was worn over her pants, so he took it off (still being a gentlemen and all....) and used to tie her wrists behind her back.

While fighting took place, Gon conducted a fireman's lift and made a run towards the direction of the library.

All while he ducked and kept his head down to make him less of a target.

So he hopes.

Cannonbolt felt his wounds being healed and his poison subsiding. He pressed the Omnitrix button, flooding the room with red light before returning to his human form.

He immediately opened up the Omnitrix again, looking down at the alien forms available.

"Now what would be the best thing to deal with these things?" he asked. Upon reaching a rotund-looking robotic alien, he grinned.

"Haven't used you in a while! Okay, Megabite, let's do this!" he exclaimed, leaping out of the Library and slamming his hand on the watch. With a flash of green light, Megabite's humanoid form appeared.

"C'mon, Louie! Let's get even with those jerks that knocked your Pokemon out!" Megabite insisted. With stubby legs, he charged towards the antagonistic trainer clone's Pokemon, before making a stylish leap into the air as he shifted into his bestial shark-like altmode.

Metallic jaws opening wide, he moved to bite down into the nearest enemy Pokemon.

Only the two hostile pokemon were still around on the ground, and neither cared enough about Gon going into the library. People parted again as Gon came in, giving him strange looks and murmuring about what he was doing with the unconscious lady. Over at the central desks, the Miss Tairee copy with the healing device sighed in irritation, as the main Miss Tairee started quickly typing on the computer.

Mo-gyeong blurred and vanished from Gon's grip, reappearing near the central desks. "Sir, you cannot keep people prisoner inside the library; that is against the rules" one Miss Tairee copy said, stepping out from the central desks and moving over to Mo-gyeong, to remove the belt tying her wrists.

While Six recalled all the times he had been responsible for keeping Rex in check, and now fully intending to make him pay back, Makoto arrived from one side of the ship. She looked angry and not just because of her powers feeding on her emotions, she simply had no time to deal with more mind games.

She emptied her gun on Six without any hesitation which seemed to surprise the ninja and Rex himself.

"Oh hey... I was about to wrap this up"

The fact he had taken a beating so far was an unfortunate coincidence. And to prove it, Rex got back on his feet and kicked the mast the spartan was shooting from with his mechanical legs.

Of course, Six hadn't earned his title of being the sixth most dangerous man on the planet only to let something like bullets take him down. His swords moved through the air at ridiculous speeds to stop the bullets from reaching him. Instead, they ricocheted all over the deck. Once done, Six clapped at Makoto as if to show it hadn't that stunt had taken him no effort.

"You two are really made for each other" he finally said. "She's just as much of a fool as you are" he lifted both his swords again and charged at Makoto, aiming to slash at her legs.

Aboard the Thunder Child

Anat stopped at the end of the ship's deck and turned around to try an follow the spartan. Unfortunately the Persona couldn't fly or climb after her, so it stayed close to the mast, circling like a shark. Makoto lifted her riot shield and blocked the gunfire aimed at her, though she kept her eyes on Six. When Rex kicked the mast, Anat shifted to humanoid form and used Diarahan to heal his injuries, then went back to watching the Spartan.

"Well, I'm wrapping it up faster," she said to Rex.

Makoto wasn't afraid of getting into close combat, so instead of backing away from Six, she took up a stance with the shield and allowed him to take a swing at her. The swords cut into the shield, but she then knocked them to the side and followed up with a right hook to the face. His talking just fueled her now. There was no pulling her punches anymore, he was getting the full brunt of her iron knuckles if he didn't get out of her way.

"Shut up, Six."

The minior was the closest to Megabite, having drifted around to get another angle on Hercules, to join in with the tentacruel's attack. Hearing Megabite coming though, it turned and zipped aside, dodging the bite while using summoned crystals to shoot lasers at him with power gem. Right afterward, a potion hit and splashed over the pokemon, and it suddenly drooped low to the ground, vibrating in what seemed to be a struggle to remain floating; this had also dramatically lowered its speed.

"Yeah! Sooner they're done, the sooner my team is back!" Louie called out, already reaching into his bag and thinking on what to throw next.

Meanwhile up on the Thunder Child, the spartan let out a small yell of surprise as the mast suddenly cracked and started to lean over; machinery inside the mast sparked as it was suddenly exposed, and the ship's drifting got a little faster. The spartan nearly fell off her perch, but managed to catch herself and look down to see Rex there. After only a short pause to think, the spartan looked up, then jumped and used her jetpack again, flying over to and landing on the higher spar of the main mast. It seemed like she was maybe considering her further options from there, while reloading her rifle again.

Library, lv 20 rogue LFG

"I don't know about this," Garrett said morosely, addressing Freckles. "This fellow Washington seems to be a tough customer. ...You don't happen to have any advice about how best to approach him?"

He looked around, asking Silvester without much hope: "...I don't suppose you could help much in a fight?"

With even less hope, he addressed Gon: "Hey... if you have the time, any chance you'd help me hunt down someone who needs killing?"

Silvester shook his head. "Sorry man, I'm no good in a fight" Silvester admitted apologetically. "Maybe some of those heroes outside could help you out; you know, once they're done" the Fanboy suggested, motioning at the fight outside.

Megabite clamped down as he missed his first attack against Minior. Megabite winced as he was hit with the Power Gem attack, before noticing that Louie had hit the Pokemon with another gravity potion.

A triumphant toothy grin formed on Megabite's face as the Minior slowed down.

He shifted into his humanoid altmode, taking his spiked club tail into his hand as a spiky morningstar. As quickly as he could muster, he raised the morningstar into the air and slammed it down in an attempt to flatten the incapacitated Minior in one fell swoop.

Library

"Agent Washington is not invincible," Freckles informed Garret in a mechanical monotone. "He has no special equipment or abilities, he is simply a really good soldier. Though he has an aptitude for surviving deadly situations, ninety percent of such incidences were due to luck rather than skill. His pain tolerance and patience rank above average."

The intelligent weapon began to go over its memory, compiling any usable information it could think of to synthesize a good answer. "Cars and other vehicles have threatened his life a statistically significant amount of times. His psyche is unstable. Mentions of South Dakota, Freelancers, Epsilon, and Meta might unsettle him."

"A stealthy approach is recommended for dealing with him. Agent Washington has a history of being threatened by opponents he cannot see, and has no defensive enhancements which could block an attack he isn't aware of," the gun continued, finally getting to something useful. "I can track his heat through walls and other obstructions. If we get near him, I can assist in finding and maneuvering around him. A distraction might assist in this."

"The combat armor he wears is designed to protect against explosives and falls. Bullets and knives can pierce through it with relative ease, as long as they are aimed at the right spot. Notable weak points include the feet, sides of the neck, and groin." Being a weapon with a built-in aimbot, Freckles knew what the best places to aim in the armor were.

"The best method of eliminating him is to keep him unaware of your presence up until you strike."

Hercules had finally done it, the clone of Gwen was gone for good but Herc couldn't relax just yet as Kaylie's Tentacruel fired a hydro pump attack at him but fortunately he avoided it just in time to see Ben come quickly back out fully healed and now in another alien form. Followed by Louie who then proceeded to throw a potion at the Minior, causing it to be forced down under the effects.

Seizing this opportunity, Herc then slammed down on the Tentacruel hard with his fists whilst Ben as Megabite dealt with the Minior.

Gon...

"Wait! Something's wrong. This isn't the person who I'm suppose to be protecting from being killed by her boss. She fights like a trained contractor..."

The Mo-gyeong felt fine, a bit fuzzy while the belt was removed from her wrists.

Library

Freckles gave a quick, helpful summary of Washington's weak points. "Okay... That's better. I might be able to work with that..." Garrett said. "Would've been easier with some shadows on the streets, though..."

He looked out the library windows at the fight raging outside. There were but a few hostile Pokemon left. "Yeah... seems like they're about to wrap this up," he responded to Silvester.

The minior wasn't going anywhere quickly, but it did summon up the crystals around it to shoot lasers into Megabite one last time just before the morning star hit, smashing the minior core down into the ground and breaking it. The minior was dealt with, but then something hissed nearby, and the sableye leaped onto Megabite's shoulder, once again using foul play to try and make the transformed boy attack himself.

Meanwhile, the tentacruel braced itself, its barrier and own strength enough to weather Hercules' blow without taking too much damage. Then, wrapping a couple of tentacles around Hercules' arms just like Cannonbolt earlier, the tentacruel retaliated by spraying a toxic attack right onto the mythological hero.

"I don't know if any of these will help with him!" Louie called from where he was looking through the potions, but Thomas then flew by just overhead.

"Stupefy!" Thomas yelled, firing a bolt of magic into the tentacruel's back, making it roar and release its hold on Hercules' arms.

"Shadows? Well, it can't be too much longer until nighttime, right?" Silvester half pointed out, half asked, directed somewhat towards the Miss Tairees.

"That's correct" one of the Miss Tairee copies said, giving a nod.

"Cool... Although, does Washington have any heat detection of his own? Or just like, a flashlight?" Silvester then wondered, directing his attention back to Freckles.

Gon, with Garrett

He saw Garrett approach him with a request for help. "Good to see you. And um.. it depends. Who's causing trouble today?"

Library

"Some guy named Washington," Garrett said in response to Gon, "He's Caboose's... friend for today."

He tapped against Freckles. "This talking weapon says that it can detect him somehow. He's a skilled soldier, and he's got a weapon much like this one here... but he should be manageable if we manage to ambush him."

He glanced towards Mo-gyeong. "Let me guess, she is your... friend?"

Megabite winced as he was hit with one final attack from the Minior before it fell in combat. Then a weird little imp leaped on Megabite and tried to use some kind of weird ability on him.

"Get off me you little freak!" Megabite shouted. He leaped into the air and shifted into its bestial altmode, attempting to resist the strange influence to attack himself before his spiked tail swung forward and whacked him square on top of the head.

Megabite wasted no time, he reached out to grab the Sableye on his shoulder and attempt to bite down into it.

Gon

Gon shook his head. "Long story. I know her from a previous job I happened to be involved in. Let's say that she's really not a fighter, but a financial risk analyst."

Mo-gyeong tried to sit up, but was too weak from being stunned a while ago.

"When do we move out?" Gon asked Garrett. "And before you ask, I'll be confident that she won't try to make a move here inside this place. She seems to want my head."

"Thanks" Rex told Anat.

With the energy that came from having his injuries healed, Rex gave up on the idea of kicking the mast. Only to build his sword instead and start cutting through it with the built-in buzzsaw. The spartan didn't even look like she had her weapon ready so this was the moment to strike.

"Come on, I just want to talk"

Meanwhile, Makoto let Six strike at her shield only to promptly knocked them away with it. Six grinned. He had been legitimately caught off guard, but he wasn't giving up just yet. Besides, it's not like he didn't enjoy a proper hand to hand fight.

"As you wish"

Her punch was fast and the agent didn't want to check if the iron knuckles were just decorative. But it was also terribly telegraphed and he managed to get out of the way with amazing speed—living up to his ninja title—to answer with a hook of his own directed at her liver.
