Alright, here and recapped; only had to stay a little late at work tonight. Still, I don't actually have very much time, so I'll likely only do one post tonight, if I post at all.

EDIT: And gotta go already because of the earlier start of tomorrow's shift. I'll probably be getting on around the same time or so, since the shift is scheduled to end at the same time; tomorrow night though I'll be staying up as late as I want to.

Alright, I'm here and recapped; holy crap work tonight was awful. I only had to stay about half an hour late in total, but even still, everything before that was horrendous. I also swung by the grocery store after work; I could've still been on a bit earlier than now, but I was doing some relaxing first.

Anyway, I intend to post tonight, but maybe not until later. Work has kinda sapped my mood for it, and I'd really like to see if any of my friends are online first.

EDIT: Well it's not much of a post, but it's not nothing; plus I actually was able to get some of the work done that I wanted to do before getting to Day 26 later, so tonight was not totally in vain.

Regardless, I better get going for tonight. I don't know when I'll be on tomorrow, as I'll be sleeping in with no alarm set. I'm also planning on running out briefly after I get up, but that shouldn't take long.

Alright, I'm here and recapped; had to stay at work only a little extra. I see I don't have much to respond to, but I'm finally feeling out of my funk and have gotten some inspiration today, so I'll be working on posting regardless after I check on discord.

While I'm posting though, I have my schedule for this next week. As a reminder, tomorrow, Sunday, I have off, and I'm staying up late with no alarm tonight. Most of next week is again evening shifts, so a lot of me not being on until late probably. Monday and Tuesday are identical, somewhat long shifts. Wednesday is a long shift. Thursday is an extra long shift. Friday I have off. Next Saturday is also an extra long shift. Then next Sunday is the exception, being one of those super long, start like an early shift end like an evening shift ones.

So unfortunately next Saturday I won't be able to post at all. Since it's possible that the following Monday could actually be an early shift, then I might not be able to post next Sunday either, but I personally doubt that that will be the case. As for slight upsides, Wednesday's shift starts late enough that I should have time to hop on briefly beforehand.

EDIT: Well, gonna get going for tonight. Tomorrow I'm sleeping in with no alarm set, but I don't think I'll be sleeping in very late since I'm not staying up as late as I usually do on these kinda nights.

Well, my sleep was kind of on and off last night, so I ended up sleeping in later than I thought I would. Anyway, I'm gonna check in on discord and see about working on posting.

EDIT: Alright, gonna get going for tonight. Tomorrow it's back to work; as usual I won't be on until after work, when it's late. If I get off when I'm scheduled to, that will probably be around four hours later than when I got on today, but I don't particularly expect to be getting off on time, so it will probably be even later.

Considering I had to stay at work about 20 minutes extra and had other stuff to do after I got home, I'm not running as late as I expected. Granted there's not a lot for me to be posting in response to tonight, but it's just as well for me as there's some other things I'd like to work on and possibly hang out with my friends too. I'll still see about some quick posting before that, just after I check on discord and such.

EDIT: Alright, gotta get going for tonight; stayed up a bit later than I meant to chatting with my friends. Tomorrow will probably be much the same; work's scheduled to end at the same time, and though I won't have anything special to do after getting home, I will need to swing by the grocery store for something before going home. Hence I expect to probably be getting online about the same time.

Also, I'm gonna try to get everything for Day 26 ready to go... By the end of next week, I wanna say. Hard to estimate for sure, but I think that's the deadline I want to aim for.

Well, woke up a lot earlier than I thought I would. I didn't actually get a whole lot of sleep, but I don't feel too bad nor do I think I could fall asleep again easily, so whatever; I am probably just gonna kinda take it easy today though. Will be checking on discord shortly.

EDIT: Okay, I better get going for tonight. So tomorrow I won't really be able to post. I'm going to make an exception though in one case; if it turns out I have an early shift Monday and I can't post Sunday either, then I'll make a quick update post with my phone just to let you guys know, probably after I get home from work tomorrow night. Assuming though that I don't have an early shift Monday, I will be back relatively late Sunday night; probably at least five hours later than when I got on today.

Alright, I am finally here and recapped. I think I got food poisoning a couple nights ago, which has made these last couple of work shifts extra hellish; I actually threw up while at work yesterday. Anyway, I skipped on a phone post because thankfully indeed I don't have an early shift tomorrow; in fact I have tomorrow off so I'm staying up late tonight.

Speaking of my schedule though, unfortunately after that it's a roller coaster. Tuesday is a slightly short evening shift. Wednesday is a long early shift. Thursday is a long evening shift. Friday and Saturday are both long early shifts. Then next Sunday is a short evening shift.

Unfortunately none of the evening shifts work out for me to hop on before work; also, Tuesday and Thursday I won't be able to post at all. Friday I'll be on and should be able to post but will have to leave early. Lastly, once again there is the possibility that I won't be able to post at all next Sunday as well, in the off chance that the Monday after is an early shift, but as before, I doubt that that will happen.

As for here, I will see about posting in just a bit, after I check up on discord. I still intend Day 26 to start this coming week, but with the crazy schedule, it's hard to say when exactly. Speaking of which though, I need to do something in the signup thread too.

EDIT: Well, now I'll get going for tonight. I'm not sure exactly when I'll be on tomorrow since I'm sleeping in with no alarm, but it should of course be earlier than I got on today. It's possible I'll have stuff going on with my real life friends, so I may be busy with that for a good portion of the day.

Getting to sleep was harder than I expected so I actually didn't get as much as I was hoping last night, but again can't really get back to sleep so I guess it's time to be up. Anyway I'm here and recapped and I'll be checking on discord shortly.

EDIT: Well, I better get going, and unfortunately unless plans change, I will again be gone for a whole day. As for when I'll be back Wednesday, actually probably right around the same time I got on today I expect, give or take a while.

Still no good ETA on making the transition happen, but I am getting steadily closer to it. I think Friday or Saturday might be the best bet.

Alright, here and recapped. Life has conspired against me in numerous and different ways to ensure that I couldn't not get enough sleep the last two nights in a row, so I'm feeling rather tired. (Worse still I'm already foreseeing an issue with sleeping tonight as well.) I also want to try to get work done on something in particular today, so I'm not going to be putting a lot of effort into posting today.

Oh, and turns out I have to have a slight schedule change, namely getting up earlier tomorrow so I can go get something done before work, which means going a bit earlier tonight than I normally would.

EDIT: Okay, and now I'll be going; unfortunately once again tomorrow is a day I won't be on at all, unless something changes in the schedule. As for Friday, I will hopefully be on a bit earlier than when I got on today actually, though I'll also have to go even earlier that night since Saturday is also an early shift.

As mentioned, I'm gonna see if I can have the transition happening Friday or Saturday, more likely Saturday; I'm not going to promise that it's going to be finished by then though, because there's still a good deal left, I think.

Alright, I am here and fully recapped. I was hoping that my schedule for next week would be finished before I left work today, but alas, no. Gonna be hopping on discord just after this.

For here, life still seems to be trying its hardest to keep me from getting any momentum on the transition, but I'll still try to work on it today. As for responses, I'm not sure at the moment what I'd like to post exactly, but I'll see about having at least one little post up at some point later.

EDIT: Also, gotta get going for the night now, since it's back to another early shift tomorrow. Tomorrow's shift ends one hour later than today's did, and I am going to need to do laundry once I'm home too, so it'll probably be a bit over an hour later that I'm getting on. I should have the schedule for next week when I get on, too.

I am glad to say that I made progress on the transition... Just not a lot. Still, if I can start to get some more momentum on it, I bet I can get it done tomorrow, especially since I won't have to leave early tomorrow night.

Okay, here now and recapped. Gonna post my schedule for this coming week before I get on discord.

As a reminder, tomorrow, Sunday, I have a short evening shift; unfortunately for me, every shift after that next week is an early shift. Monday I have off, but I also have tentative plans to be hanging out with my friends and doing some RPG stuff that night. Tuesday is off with nothing in particular going on. Wednesday starts with an extra long shift. Thursday and Friday are identical long shifts. Next Saturday is a super long one by way of going later than my early shifts usually do, then next Sunday is also super long but by way of started even extra earlier.

This unfortunately means that even though next Saturday and Sunday are both early shifts, it has that effect of me being unable to post at all Saturday on top of both being difficult for me personally, which just... Let me tell you having the worst of both worlds happening that weekend sucks the most major balls right now.

Anyway, on mild good news, last night I had a case of not being able to sleep right away so I decided to work some more on the transition and got a good chunk of it done. I am planning on the transition being my next post, but that's still probably not going to be for at least a few more hours.

Day twenty six, the shadow you face against

• Characters are their normal selves.

• The city is its normal self.

• For every character, somewhere random in the city, a copy of the most significant rival/nemesis of that character is spawned in. Your character's own respective nemesis will be controlled by you.
  • This nemesis should be chosen from your character's canon only; as if the events of the RP had not and would not have happened.
  • This nemesis should be the most iconic nemesis of your character's entire story line, whether that means from the past, present, or future. If multiple forms of said nemesis are available, the nemesis should appear as whichever form they were in during the most iconic clash with your character.
  • All nemeses are still subject to the same limitations put on player characters during the signup process, and will have any such overpowered elements or abilities nerfed or outright removed, such as no reality warping. If you are in doubt about your particular nemesis, feel free to contact me privately, or ask in discussion, or the discord channel.
  • The nemesis should be a single individual, unless there is an applicable case of an inseparable duo or more that would apply for them just like in the signup process.
  • Speaking of inseparable duos, for those of you who are playing as more than one character, if all of your characters would have the same nemesis under these rules, then only one copy will be spawned, not multiple. If they would not have the same nemesis however, then one of each nemesis will be spawned.
  • It can be a one sided rivalry between your character and their nemesis; that is, the nemesis chosen should be the most significant nemesis to your character, but your character does not have to have been the most significant nemesis to them.
  • All of the nemeses have the same goal: To seek out and kill the character in the city that they are the nemesis of; even if this would be out of character for said nemesis.
  • All of the nemeses are on the same side, won't attack each other, are hostile to everyone in the city, and can tell who is a nemesis and who isn't; again, even in cases where this would be out of character for said nemesis. They will even work together, though will always be primarily focused on their own target.
  • The nemeses do not respawn, but any of the normal city residents (like your characters) who die while their nemesis is still alive, will not respawn until either their respective nemesis is dead, or the day ends. If the nemesis' own target is dead and they're still around, they will go ahead and help the other nemeses.
• As the above applies to all NPCs as well as the player characters, it should be reminded that this means there are a lot of nemeses running throughout the city; something you should remember in your posts. Many of them, like their NPC counterparts, aren't of much note, so you are free to control them (including autokilling them) in your own posts. Exceptions which you may not control or autohit will be introduced and controlled by me.

EDIT: Oh right, I forgot to mention because I was kind of on auto pilot when I got home, but my shift for Sunday has changed because one of my coworkers needed to swap his shift. It's still the same length, and still relatively early, but now it doesn't start super duper early anymore, so I'll be able to be on (although still briefly) Saturday.

Also because of Sunday's shift ending later, if it turns out that I have an early shift Monday of next week then I may not be able to post Sunday instead.

Anyway, will be going for tonight now. Tomorrow I'll probably be on around the same time or a bit later; I'm gonna try to get something done after work, and will see if I can get off a bit early to help with that.

Alright, finally here now and fully recapped; had to stay at work over thirty minutes extra, plus get laundry started once I got home. I'm going to check on discord before I see about posting situations, but before that, I have my schedule for next week.

Unfortunately for me, it's not getting any easier any time soon. As a reminder, I have my very long early shift tomorrow then somewhat longer still early shift Sunday; just thankfully not so super early anymore, so I'll still be able to get on tomorrow. (Though only for a brief period.) Monday and Tuesday are off, and again I'll be seeing about possibly doing stuff with friends Monday night. Wednesday is an extra long early shift. Thursday is an extra long evening shift. Next Friday will be another extra long early shift, same as Wednesday. Next Saturday is, at least as far as I currently remember, the longest shift I've ever been scheduled, starting early and ending late in the evening. Then next Sunday is another extra long early shift by way of starting even earlier than usual, like this Sunday was originally going to be.

So because of that roller coaster, I'm not going to be able to get on and post on Thursday and Saturday.

EDIT: Okay, and I better get going for tonight. Tomorrow I won't be on until even later; probably in the ballpark of two hours later than when I got on today. As mentioned, I won't be online for very long tomorrow, so there's a possibility that I may have to skip out on posting even if there is stuff for me to respond to.
